((Quick little postie to this! WOO WOO!))

When they had all emerged out of the woods Lok took the whole thing rather quietly. He didn't seem to notice Red being all excited about her new squishy appendeges. Though, he did make an odd face when she squished them for all of them to see.

"Red... ew." He said. "If you're going to have boobs, you gotta know... girls don't do that. They keep their boobs themselves." He glanced at the ittle piggish man, his lip curled into a snarl. "Otherwise you get dolts like this falling all over themselves." He finished, eyes sharp and dangerous.

He gave him a warning growl as he trotted over to the prince. Though, he backed up a step as he swung around a little tea kettle. Lok raised a thick brow and wrinkled his nose. "Percy... I have to ask you a bit of a personal question..." He squinted his eyes. "... Are you... you kow... a tad..." He raised single finger and raised his eyebrows imporingly.

"Because if you are... I want you to know I'm absolutely okay with that." The wolfish smirked with a mean flash in his eyes.

((.... yeah... and maybe I'll make it move next post!))

Sally perked up when Amleth had ran over to her. He seemed extremely worried for her safety and she shook her head. "Nope, I'm fine! You didn't trip me...these things are just a tad heavier than I'm used to." She gave a sly grin and pushed at them again with a coy look on her face. When the man had began to freak out, she looked to him curiously.

"You okay?" She leaned over slightly and put a hand to his shoulder with a sweet smile. "Its okay. They don't bite you know...only my mouth does." She gave a chomp on the air and turned to watch Dash walk by. She raised a brow and shrugged. "Well good then. Because now I'm sexy. I bet none of your little dainty princesses had BOOBS and could FIGHT huh?" She raised a fist as if to show off her muscle and grinned almost a bit too widely.

"I'm one of a kind ya know!" Her voice had changed slightly as well, somewhat deeper and richer. The tones still were that soft beautiful tone that attracted deers and birds, but it was more mature and full. It was when Wolfie walked by and spoke to her. She glowered at him.

"SALLY! Not red. Sally, Alex...anything but Red. Makes me sound Indian or something. Red Chief or something like that. Gosh. And don't care what other girls do, I'll do whatever the hell I want. Okay?" She then grinned at him and walked closer to him, her back tilted up so her chest was perched at a more noticable position and she winked at him.

"I think you're just jealous you can't have me. I bet you want to put your hands on them soooo badly. You knooow you do. Wolfie sweetie. " She gave off a short chuckle and turned her attention back to Dash with a disgusted look when he showed off the tea.

"Please...anything but tea...if I down another of those in my LIFE I'll freakin' puke on you. It won't be pleasant." She put a hand over her mouth and furrowed her brows, turning her head away. After she had settled her stomach she raised her brows and smiled at 'Wolfie'.

"Oh Wolfie...are you asking that because you're coming out? Dash over there is quite a hottie don't you think? But I don't think he goes for the furry guys. I do though. You can have me if you want. I love the beastlies." She wiggled her fingers slightly before putting a hand to the horse and rubbing it down his mane gently. "You're a beautiful horse aren't you? Hey...what's his name?" She looked at Dash with her soft brown eyes. "I never see horses much. Only stupid birds and squirrels...and wolves. All of them can get annoying. But horses are a nice break from the usual. He looks like a Steve."

"Is his name Steve?"

((Hahaha...Sally's crazy...))

Amleth pinned his eyes too the floor as Sally fiddled with her...her boobs... further. Nnnnnnnnnh. He let out a little whine as she knelt down and touched his shoulder, assuring him. "I-I'm fine it's j-just I'm not... not used t-to, um, uh, y-y'know, um... w-women. And umm! I-I don't want to make you uncomfortable or anything and I don't want to uhh uh uh... o-oggleyouoranythinglikethat." He tugged his ears miserably as the wolf sneered at him. The Pigman whined a bit and hunched his shoulders, wishing he could vanish into a hole in the ground. He wasn't a pervert or anything, he just was freaked out by... by how SUDDEN her growth was.

The prince piped up, and Amleth was relieved by the change of subject from womanly body parts. "I-I-I know, we're... really... really... REALLY really sick of it... and all the... the stuff... but..." A cup of tea was shoved in his hands before his thought process could finish. He glanced up to the dashing ma, lips pursing into a confused frown. He simply couldn't wrap his mind around why someone so well-liked, attractive, successful and dashing would want to change how things went for him. Amleth's own life was miserable as hell, yes, but princes had awesome lives, didn't they? Amleth shook his head and glumly took a sip of tea. These people were just too confusing for him to understand.

"S-so," he mumbled over his drink. "I, um. I've never really done anything but... but build stupid houses." He swished his tea around ruefully. "So, I, uh, don't really know how to do... anything else, and uh... what... what're we gonna do? 'C-cause... I probably won't be much of a help with it or anything or whatever... so... s-sorry."
PostPosted: Wed Jul 25, 2007 9:53 pm

((Haha okay, seriously, folks...Time to get things rolling... I'm gonna start it... Just, take the baton and keep going, aye? FREE FOR ALL! The more oddness we throw at each other, the more fun it's gonna be. I SWEARS IT I DO!))

Percy's smile faltered at Lok's words. "Er, well..." He suddenly felt like it was probably a good idea to set the tea kettle down. And he did. "No. If you had to deal with saving all of those... princesses," He wrinkled his nose, "Let's just say it'd be a lot easier to eat them. No crying on your shoulders, sitting unexpectedly in your lap... And the kisses... You know, none of them except Rapunzel was ever any good at kissing." Feeling like he MIGHT have just given too much information, he muttered himself into silence.

He paused for a moment, unconsciously offered Lok tea, and added, "I never did catch your name...?" Probably because he'd been too busy smacking the creature on the nose with his fine leather glove - a glove which now had a bit of a stain that he was afraid might be snot on it. He hoped it would wipe off... Or something.

Tearing his mind from his glove, he glanced over at Red, who was busy fondling her newfound breasts. Well, until she found it necessary to bash his tea again. "Fine, fine... I'm just saying, it's rather good." He took a sip from his own cup, clapping a hand on his horse's flank. "No, HER name's Desdamona." The horse gave a quiet snort at her name and pawed slightly at the ground. She was a lovely thing - pure white save for her nose, one of her legs, and her mane and tail. Those were a rich, gorgeous chestnut colour. She was just about as beautiful as Dash was handsome.

Noticing that Amleth was frowning at him, he gave the round man a bit of a smile and settled in a sit in the sand, letting his cape drape out behind him so as to not sit on it. He seemed to sense, at least slightly, what he was thinking, and gave a shrug. "Any life, no matter how good it seems, can get a bit boring after the same thing day in and day out, right? I mean, we always want what we can't have. I just think we oughta try for what we're not supposed to get. If nothing else, that journey will make for a difference in life.

"As for what we're going to do... First off, we need to get out of here." He nodded firmly, sipping again at his tea. "As for houses, I've never built one, and probably couldn't ever. Who's to say what you do is so menial?" he gave the pig-man a strong pat on the back, "Don't be so down. It's not very becoming of anyone!"

Finishing off his tea, he stood up, dusted the sand from his trousers, and quickly stowed away his tea set ((...hahahhahaa oh man.)), glancing sideways at Lok, as if expecting some sort of smart retort about it.

"First off, I think we ought to get away from here. Beyond this desert is a farming village... And it's not part of any story I'm familliar with. Perhaps starting where none of us knows what's happening will be a good way to go."

((Hahaha and I was just hit with an idea for this... It's really general, but I don't wanna like, reveal it all... So, I'll let it in bit by bit, as long as it doesn't screw with what the rest of you guys are doing... *bounces around happily!*))

((WOO POSSSTSSSS!!!))

Lok quirked a thick eyebrow at Sally/Alex when she rather stuck her chest into his personal space. He looked down upon her knew founded womanly parts with a sort of sneer. "I've seen better." Was his harsh remark and looked her straight in the face. "And what would I want with a little woman?" He growled at her. "I'm the wolf... and if I had been any kind of a man I would do better for myself than some little girl."

The wolfish man than frowned at her 'coming out' remark and proceeded to ignore her. He tried to focus on Percy's defense about him being rather straight and princess kisses... but Lok somehow still managed to hear her. The hackles along his back bristled with irratation. "MAKE UP YOUR MIND!" He roared at her, unable to contain himself. "First you say I can't have you and now you say I can! If you're going to insult me at least be CONSISTENT!"

((hahaha. WTF? *loves him*))

He turned to Percy with a sort of 'god help me' sort of expression and gripping the offered tea in his claws drank it all down like a shot.

At being asked who he was Lok shrugged. "I'm Lok." He said. "First dark of stories." He added on with what might have been a proud snarl on his face. "But I'm sure you've faught me often enough to know that, hero."

"And don't encourage that pig!" He growled suddenly, pointing a clawed hand at Amaleth. "He's PITIFUL. Who the hell builds houses out of STRAW?" He demanded of the pig. "You're lucky you have your brother to save your sorry hide every story or you'd be MINE." ((JERK! HAHA, YAY!))

And Lok didn't find it necessary to say anything as Percy stowed away his tea set, the smirk on his face was remark enough. Though, he then nodded his head.

"Good plan, Percy... but honestly I don't see why I should stick around with the lot of you." He said, heading out into the distance. "What can all of us do that I can't do on my own?"

((hahaha, yes... what CAN they do that he can't do on his own?!))
PostPosted: Thu Jul 26, 2007 3:32 pm

Sally blinked as Lok roared at her and she frown, looking quite hurt. "Shut up, you big BUTT." She exclaimed and wrapped an arm around Amleth defensively. "It's not his fault you're such a d**k. Learn some respect. He probably works so much harder than you. Everyone does. You think you can just go around yelling at everyone and never get hurt yourself. So just SHUT UP and show some respect, because if you don't I'll break a tea cup and stab your eyes out with the sharpest piece of it." She growled dangerously at his back as he turned to walk away. She then pat the short man and smiled.

"Don't listen to that jerk. He wouldn't know Strength and Hard Work if it bit him in his a**. Wait his face since his face is an a**." She then leaned into Amleth's ear and whispered. "Between you and me, I think he sleeps with a stuffed rabbit." She snickered kiddingly and smirked at the pig-man before letting go of his shoulders and looking to the horse.

"Oh well sorry...Didn't think to look underneath first. SHE'S gorgeous though. I wish I had a horse. Mr. Lok or Mr. Stupid over there doesn't make a good pet does he?" She pat the horse's pack gently and shrugged at the prince's idea. "Sounds good to me. As long as my best friend Mr. Amleth comes I'll be more than happy to go." She smiled sweetly and dusted off her dress, watching Lok walk off.

"Funny. One thing you can't do is take that stick out of your a**. Though I don't think we can either seeing as how it's shoved up so far." Her voice darkened. "You can leave. We might just be better off without you. Heck, I know we will." She knew it'd get some furious remark out of him, that's what she was going for. She didn't hate the man, in fact she liked him a lot...when he wasn't a prissy little animal. "We'll wait until we can't see you anymore and then we can head off. That way we don't have to see that ugly face of yours anymore."

((Hahaha I HAD to make someone talk back to him. He was asking for it. XD Sally can be such a b***h if she wants to be. Hahaha...))

Amleth couldn't help but scowl at his tea as Dash gave his reason for wanting to change things. Boredom? That was a terrible reason. He tried to push the irritation away, as Dash offered some kind words. Amleth gave a weak grin. "Th-thanks," he mumbled. "You, um, you're really k-kind, but, umm, I kn-know I'm really useless, y-you don't have to p-pretend I..."

Before he could finish his self-deprecating thought, the Wolf finished it, harsher and shorter than Amleth would have ever gotten around to. Flinching from the man's hard words, the squat fellow turned his eyes down and bit his lip as Sally knelt down to assure him. He shook his head, hot tears rising in his eyes.

"No," he muttered. "He's right. He's totally right. I'm pathetic. I'm totally useless and no one wants me around, ever. Everyone knows so. Everyone hates me and loathes me and teases me, and all I ever do is pointless, futile work that no one ever appreciates and it never does me any good and I don't even like it. My live is miserable, it's an unending cycle of futility and fear and desperate, useless attempts to stay alive. I hate it, I hate my life, I hate every stupid fiber of my being with every stupid fiber of my being,

"And YOU," he brandished an accusing, chubby finger at Dash, "you have NO RIGHT to complain about how BORED you are and how that makes YOUR life terrible. You can do whatever you want, go wherever you want, be with whoever you want, and you have tons of money, and everyone likes you and knows you and appreciates you and I don't GET that, and you have, you have the GALL to COMPLAIN!" Why was he turning on this man? The Prince had never been mean to Amleth, never cruel or harsh, hell, he'd saved the fat man's a** just a scant few minutes ago, but Amleth couldn't stop the flow of furious words. "My live is a sack of s**t, a heaping, stinking pile of misery, and you just take what you've got for granted!"

"And... and you!" He turned to Sally now. Even as he did it, he regretted it, he liked Sally, she was his friend, she was nice and sweet and nothing but good to Amleth, but he just couldn't stop. "Why... why do YOU get to change, huh? You, you just take a few steps, and just, just BOOM, you get what you want! You get to look sexy and hot and you get big honkers and curves and whatever out of nowhere, but I don't get anything! I don't want to be so short or fat or stupid or ugly, and I didn't get anything, I just stayed my stupid ugly loser self, and you didn't even need it! You were fine before, I thought you were pretty before and you didn't need boobs anyway. Why do you get what you want while I still get nothing! I never get anything I've ever wanted, and it's not fair! It's just not fair."

He stopped, finally, finally he stopped. Something at the back of his head moaned at him to stop being mad, to take back everything he'd said. But the throb of conscience seemed so weak in comparison to the burn of general irritation. He wasn't even mad at them. He was just... he was just in that angry mode where he let his mouth run off with his emotions.

Amleth waited, panting weakly, staring at the two victims of his rant. The furious burn started to wear off, and the horror of what he'd done started to sink in. "I..." He looked down, quavering. "I... I didn't..." He gulped. "I... do things like that, sometimes. I just... I do that. It happens. And, uh. I..." he shuddered. "I'm sorry. I am, I just do that. So, um, uh, if you want me to... if you're mad--you probably are, you should be, I'm sorry, that was wrong, you should be mad, I'm sorry, I am--I could... I should just go. I can go back, now, and you all can, um, go farming and whatever, I've got plenty of straw anyway and stuff, so, um, yeah, I can go, and um yeah."

((Ha, uh, yeah, he just needed to have a giant angst fest right there. It's part of what makes me love him; he's a miserable sack of crap, through and through. Sorreh.))

Percy, no, DASH. Dash. Dash frowned. He hadn't meant for Lok to simply walk off... Granted, he wasn't exactly FOND of the creature, but he DID drink his tea. That was something. More than Red did, anyway... And she... She was an unusual one. Generally, the girls in the stories couldn't stop swooning after him (something, he admitted, got old real fast) but it was a bit unnerving that she couldn't care less about him. The Prince wasn't sure whether to like her for that, or hate her. Currently, it was a mixture of both.

And Lok... There was an interesting fellow... That wolf, Perc- no, DASH realized, was one of the recurring evils of every story he'd been a part of. Save for sorceresses and dragons, he generally was the one he fought. Honestly, that thought made him a little sad. Because as the stories went, the Hero won, the Evil lost. Every time. Well, nearly every time.

But whatever thoughts he had in mind about that, they were put on hold when Amleth spoke up. It seemed he'd been ah, holding a number of things inside in the short time they'd met... And it all came spilling out. Even Red's short little retort (though probably fairly effective) was drowned out by Amleth's sudden rant.

In fact, it left Dash quite speechless - an amazing feat. Had he been able to speak, he might have congratulated the pig-man for having managed something very VERY few people could do. Instead, he stared stupidly (not a look that fit well on his gorgeous face) and moved his mouth slowly, like a fish out of water.

Desdamona gave a loud snort (it sounded a lot like laughter) and it snapped Dash out of his stupor. Amleth was now stuttering his apologies, which the Prince tried to wave off with a gloved hand, "You're right." He shrugged. "I can't say I've ever had it put so bluntly, but you're right. However selfish it is, however, I still want to get away, and by the look of things, you need to too. I'm offering for you to come with me is all. No more getting chased down and nearly killed every day."

Then turning to the retreating back of Lok, he called out, "We can't have a complete story, and neither can you. Alone, that just doesn't work." He raised his eyebrows, bright eyes watching the Wolf. "Haven't you always been alone in your stories? The lone evil that always fails because the greater good raises up and well, takes you out." He frowned. Put that way, he didn't much like the fact he was included in that 'greater good.' "But I'm not on that side anymore." Yeah. He'd decided that from the moment he chose to leave. "I'm not taking sides. If a girl goes in the wrong way with a dragon, it's her fault. Not mine. And I think those sheep that always get the better of you deserve to be lamb chops once in a while." He folded his arms sternly, "Wouldn't you like a few more stories like the boy who cried your name?"

Leaving it at that, he mounted Desdamona, checking to make sure his supplies, sword, and other such things were secure. "Because I think if we hold together, we might be able to make something DIFFERENT happen. That's all."

((haha THERE... Maybe that'll be enough reason for him to stay?))

((HOMGS I'M GOING TO TRY AND POSTTTTTT!!!... Cos... yes. Hahaha, and yeah... someone needs to knock Lok down a few notches... or... hahaha, he's SO ANGRY.))

Lok paused in his tracks as Sally proceeded to quite thoroughly chew him out. He didn't turn around and thusly his expression could not be seen, but the hackles along his back were once more on end and a little growl was rumbling low in his throat. That might have been warning enough for any SANE person to stop whatever it was they were saying, but Sally was Sally and had dealt with the wolf's temper far more times than were healthy for any of these aforementioned 'sane' individuals.

"Shut the hell UP!" He roared at her, swinging around. Somewhere beneath his smouldering eyes and snarling expression he looked hurt, like a dog that had been slapped with a newspaper. "You only just MET him. I've kown you FAR longer than that PIG has." He said of the pig, eyes still hard on her face. His canines were bared into a fearsome growl. "What friend is he?" He snorted and looked to the prince.

"I'm better off alone, you see." Lok replied. "Just ask Sally." He said in a quietly cold voice. "She wants to get rid of me so I'll just save you the trouble of getting your hands dirty. I'll take care of myself. Wolves don't keep good company."

And he turned away again to head out to he was not even sure where. The prospect of this idea, of leaving to set out to change when he knew nothing could be changed... not on his own, like the prince said. But that's how it was, wasn't it? He was the wolf, that was all he'd ever be.

He cast a look over his shoulder and snarled once. Then he was gone. Those who watched him go could see distantly over the slowly simmering dunes of the desert a great wolf galloping over the land. And slowly he vanished into the horizon.

A howl came back over the dunes, a warning. He was on no one's side either.

((hahaha, for some reason... I couldn't convince him to stay... he'll be back, NO WORRIES. Maybe he'll find Rain's character... that is... if she's still alive... *wonders*))
PostPosted: Fri Jul 27, 2007 9:06 pm

((Haha if she keeps up...which I know it sounds harsh but I doubt it...once again I think something will happen and we'll be the only four once more. But you know what...I really don't care that much anymore.

Yes...hahaha...I feel bitchy this evening...no reason...just do...))

Sally gawked at Amleth for a while as he yelled out stuff. She then casted her eyes down in an uneasy gaze. She dug a heel into the sad slightly and shrugged. "Yeah...you deserve more..." she muttered softly and squinted as if in pain. She bit on her lip and then looked back up. "But...you know what I think? I think you just don't believe in yourself enough. Maybe if you try looking at the good things about you you'd get more good stuff. Like I like myself...maybe that's why I got cool stuff. If you like yourself too, maybe you will also. I like you...so why not you as well? Hmmm?" However her uplifiting speech stopped aruptly when Lok turned and yelled at her.

Her brown eyes widened. She tried not to be hurt by his words but her lips tightened together and she twisted her feet around. "I...I didn't mean it like that...you just...you're just always mean to people. I never said...you're all my friends! Even Dash. You all are my friends!" She exclaimed but it didn't seem to pass through the man's ears as he turned around and started off.

"Hey! Wait! I didn't mean I wanted you to leave! Come on!" She scrambled after him for a moment. It was pointless. He was gone. She knew he was fast, faster than her, after all he always beat her to Granny's house. She stood there silently. She lowered her head and turned around with another shrug and pulled up on her hood, shadows casting on her face so no one would see the frustration and regret that was in her eyes. He yelled at her often, it was nothing too new. But this time she could see that he seemed hurt. She had hurt him...she hated it when people felt down because of her. She wanted her friends to be happy and cheerful. Also she had come away from the forest with the wolf, came because he did, and now he was leaving her alone with two strangers. She suddenly felt like an outcast. No, he would come back, or she would find him, she was sure of it.

Her feet slowly moved over to where Dash was and she shook her head. "Let's go. He'll come back. I know he doesn't realize it yet. But he wants friends just as much as the rest of us...maybe even more. He's never had many." The only thing that was seen on her face were her lips which pulled into a slight smile.

"You're not going to hog the horse are you? And make us walk? After all aren't you supposed to be nice and stuff?" She tightened her grip on her basket and began to climb up onto the horse carefully. "Come on Amleth! I'm getting sand in my underwear I think."

((Awwww...friendship troubles...XD Anyways, I am going to bed! Cause I am tired for some reason! And my eyes burn and my head hurts. D:> Blaaaahhh.))

((I've been keeping up J. Reading and waiting for a point to bring my character in without it seeming so awkward. What are the chances of 5 different characters running into each in a forest, specially when dragons prefer open areas to closed in ones. I WAS going to post last night, but unfortunately, the power went out and I was un-able too. I stayed up till around 5:00 a.m. waiting for it to come back on so I could post since no one seems to have faith in the fact that I'm watching, but it never did. I even posted a page or two ago that I was reading and waiting for a point to enter in. I don't know how long the power will last today, since, apparently, there is now a tornado warning. Hopefully, a post will be added to this before that happens again))

Honestly, what was she DOING in this god awful place wearing this god awful cloak.
"Oh that's right, you were CHASED out here by some stupid paranoid villagers. You are quite the smart one Ryuu, letting them catch sight of you blasted face," she growled to herself, running black nailed fingers with their sharp points through slightly tussled long red-brown locks. Pausing, she kicked at the hot sand with a single booted foot and stared out over the rolling dunes through slitted pupils set in golden green eyes.

She heaved a sigh and continued on, she was alone in the desert, no one was around, she could leave her hood down for a little relief from the sun. She didn't have to worry about burning, her little patches of scales reflected and absorbed most of the light. Maybe this god awful place was a better home for her.

They wouldn't find her here, the people who made her play over and over the scene where she lost against the dashing prince and he white stallion. Away from the sorceress or twisted parents that used her to guard the object of their jealousy or their twisted daughter from the world.

A loud howl split her train of thought right down the middle. Again she stopped, squinting toward the direction of the loud sound. A wolf in the desert? Curiosity immediately tugged her toward where the sound had come from. The wolf was a fellow evil wasn't it? And one in the desert, perhaps it was trying to escape, just as she was. She moved over the dunes as quickly as her legs would allow her without running on the loose sand.

She could see it, a blob on the dunes ahead of her, in the back of her mind, she hoped he wouldn't run from her or turn the other way, just as everyone that saw what she represented did. Her hand moved to the long curving horns that ran along her head, people always ran. Swallowing, she paused, what was she doing? Getting so desperate as the move toward someone who probably didn't even want another's presence. Turning away from the slightly formed blob, she sat down on the dune she had stopped on.

"It's best not to have anyone around anyway. They'll just end up chased if you went within the proximity of a town. They probably don't want anyone around, they're in a desert by themselves for heaven sakes..." she mumbled.

((I know it's kinda short. I had one typed up but I had to edit it and cut a lot out. The cable keeps flashing in and out, so, I wanted to get this up before I was un-able to use the internet.))

((Yah okay, but I wasn't just talking about this time, but the so many other times you promised you'd stay and apologized and all that crap and left without another word. This is your guild, sweet-heart...I think you should at least tell us when you leave and try to keep up. Even if there are only four other's here.

It's mean but it's the truth, whether you want to listen or not. I hate saying it, but I just need to shove it out there since no one else has. I mean I'm not saying I hate you or anything, I'm just stating what I feel. I still love you...but you just seem to disappear without a word for months on end and come back saying you'll be here again and leave a few days later.

That's all I was saying...the end. Over and done.))

((I still love ya too J, and I understand that I haven't been a good guild captain at all. I have apologized and just left a few days later more than once. I feel bad about, which is the main reason I have hesitated to come back more than once. I'm irresponsible, I get addicted to something and ignore my other responsibilities. I admit to it all, but I need to stop, which is why I'm still here, and which is why I plan on keeping up even if I am swamped with college stuff.

Just a warning though, I may not be on as often this week, I have to go college shopping for all the stuff I need for my dormitory and for my books and the such. Then I am going to WV to get acquainted with the town. The hotel as internet, but I do not know how often I will be able to get on. I'm going to be un-naturally busy... I'm STILL going to be getting on though, at least once a day, just not for hours at a time. If I miss every now and then, I apologize. But I'm still here.))

((Haha, AWESOOMESSS! I'm super glad you posted, RAAAINA! OH YEAH! And and and.... this is good! And no worries... I just thought that if you wanted to be a part of this (which you obviously do, no mistake about that) now would be a convenient time AND LOOK AT THAT! WOO! YOU DID! ALRRRRIIIIGHT!

Let's get this party.... er... started....! Wooo's.))

Lok would never be sure just how long he ran for or where he might have been going. What did it matter anyway? He was angry, upset, and full of a mixture of self hatred and self pity. He wasn't sure which one was winning, but all he knew was that he was doing was he was meant to, what did it matter if he was hated? That was his role, his sole purpose in life.

Either way, he didn't want to think about it, running through shifting sands and blistering heat easily took his mind off of it. Sure, his paws were slowly becoming raw and each breath was hot in his increasingly dry mouth... And yeah, his tongue occasionally would stick to the roof of his mouth and sand lashed into his eyes, mouth, ears, and stuck to every bit of his fur coat, but it all kept his mind off what she said... even if he'd known such things to be true.

Distantly, the wolf thought, he was very thirsty and aching to stop. Though, much closer he smelled someone. He paused in his endless gallop and turned his now human face to the sky. He sniffed: Once, twice, snorted, and then a third time filled his great lungs a single scent stood out from the smell of cracked earth and hot air.

"Dragon." Lok said to himself and turned his face in her direction, eyes sharp in his dark face. She was a haze in the blazing distance.

A recklessness gripped him, a sort of brooding fellowship that drove him to her. Somehow he felt that more than anyone she could have known his burden. In moments he was in front of her, sitting on his haunches with his trademark snarl marring his human features.

"Dragon." He said again, a greeting. "What brings a belly dragger like you out to the desert?" He growled.

((lalalala..la. I hope I don't get stuck if your power goes out again o.O;; ))

((Fortunately, the storm wasn't half as bad as they said it would be. So, power is still on and we are a'okay. Though I am partially distracted by the new anime sitting in my computer disc tray. But I am being the bigger person and posting before watching it xd ))

Despite all the doubts she had had in her mind, the wolf she had smelled on the winds and whom she had heard soon sat before her. He greeted her gruffly, though it was much better a greeting than she had ever gotten before, and questioned her presence in this place.
"Trying to get away," she stated simply, not wanting to relay the story behind her presence in the desert itself.

She gave him a smile of her own, though it was more of a sad smile than anything else. Glancing over him with sharp eyes, she noticed his dried lips, and upon further examination, nothing to drink on his person. Reaching to her side she pulled out a pouch holding it out to him.
"You look thirsty, it's warm, but it's better than nothing. If you don't mind drinking off a belly dragger that is," she stated.

"So what brings you out into these sands without any supplies?" she questioned. Though, she had no right to talk, when she had left the sorceresses keep, she had left with nothing. She had stolen when she couldn't manage to get them to sell to her, and used the sorceresses coin when she could buy.

The leaving thing, had been a sudden and rash decision, but she would NEVER say she was regretting it.

((I know it's short... but she asked him a queesssstion ^^))
