LilyFarseer Varnell LilyFarseer Varnell LilyFarseer Unfortunately, I am out for the night. I shall endeavor to continue this thread with you, however. I enjoy it immensely, and it give me great satisfaction. My hat is off to you. I have enjoyed myself very much. I thank you immensely for continuing the discussion, and I hope to similarly discuss such matters with you in the future.
G'night, mi'dear. For some, strange reason, I find myself unable to eat, and unable to sleep. I feel slightly sick still, but I should be able to sleep. Not so. Sleep is relative, and fleeting, and I have to be up again in about 2.5 hours once more. I will down shift. If my language was bad before, it only gets worse. You do not sound well. I read your earlier thread, and now this. I honestly suggest rest, even if sleep no longer beckons you. The last thing you need to be avoiding whilst unwell is your rest. Do not doubt that I wish to discuss further with you, but your welfare is of upmost importance. Especially in the instance that you must be summoned in just a mere couple of hours.I have done worse. I once stayed up two days in a highly charged situation, no sleep, little rest, and we needed to just survive. I learned that one may force their body to rise to the occasion. Merely because I will be summoned in a small space of time, I will function. I am an expert at functioning, even when my body tells me it is time to give up, and give in. I promise not to cuss? There's no questioning that the body is able to achieve many an astonishing goal when put to the test, but in no way does the achievement justify such an unhealthy act.
I care not if you cuss. If you find it easier to state your mind with profane words, then so be it. The important part is that you're stating your mind.

Varnell LilyFarseer Varnell LilyFarseer Varnell These are all natural laws describing creatures that have no idea about nuclear technology. All it would take is some chemically unstable madman to let loose the horde of devasting weapons of mass destruction owned by the major countries of this planet for the Earth to be rendered infertile. Is man incapable of destroying himself? The natural laws of survival would tell us 'no', but what then of the spiking suicide rates? Ah yes. The suicide rates. I find no empathy or sympathy with people who kill themselves. I understand what it is like to become ashes, and to see everything you have fought so valiantly for to crumble into nothing. I have picked myself out of the ashes and walked on my feet until I found a reason to live. It wasn't much, but it was a reason. To pack it in and commit suicide is like saying you give up, and you don't care any more, that you really cannot stand to live another moment, that life is utterly meaningless. It is not. The survival instincts are what summon these thoughts. It is said that suicide is often an attention attempt gone wrong, or merely a chemically imbalance in the minds of those whom have committed the act.A survival instinct gone wrong. Hm... I must revisit this later. Until then, I wish to speak of happier things. For instance, what would you do if you were forced to either kill a chicken for food? Would you do it? This is hardly a more light-hearted subject, but, regardless to the point, I would do what I must for survival.
In relation to the current state of humanity; however, I fail to see how the question is relevant though. Humanity, as a majority, has no use for his survival insticts. Mankind needs not worry about where his next meal will come from. If indeed he has a job, the job will provide necessary means for survival. This, of course, using the term survival loosely, for those unemployed or handicapped are provided for by the government. Our life is hardly at stake by anything but our own stupidity.I did not concider your emotions in this venture. My humble apologies are extended out to you. And this seems to work fairly well.I already begin to feel sleep beckon my interest. This is slightly unusal for me. Normally, I must compose my mind for sleep, but even that has not been working of late. Ah yes, but think about it. We worry hardly at all on a day to day basis, and this is merely an example. Has your home ever flooded, and there was no more food in the house, and you were surrounded by homes that had fallen in some natural disaster? One tends to wonder about one's next meal then. One also tends to worry about their next meal when they forget to eat many a time, such as myself. I know people who must constantly remind themselves to do things, to eat, to drink, and to sleep. I am one such a person. We are fairly common, actually.

If I stop posting suddenly, it is because sleep overwhelmed me, since I really have't had more than 12 hours last week, and less than 24 the week before. I started counting at 16, so sleep might decide to knock me unconscious, and make me an unwilling participant in my dreams.

I have trouble with sleeping, but it becomes easier for me to do so when I cease to worry about falling asleep.
I never been affected by a natural disaster such as that, but I do have trouble with regularly eating. The point I meant to come across is this: Humanity, as a majority, has little need for his survival skills in day to day life. He has no natural predators.

My spelling is rapidly running away from me! Well, as I mentioned, the topic of happiness happens to be one such topic I enjoy. Rather unfortunatey, I saw that happen when I was a small child, and I hd not grown up with such a happenstance. The same would happen to any human. That is how serial killers, and social butterflies are born. I have trouble sleeping tonight because of tomorrow. I am deathly afraid to go up there. I will no doubt be over the butterflies once I am on stage, but this is still another mater entirely! I am a theatre person at heart, so I will be fine once I am on the stage. Humans are lucky. Science experiments have natural predators. Humans. At any rate, you are correct. They do have no natural predators, but if human stupidity continues through the generations, what about cannibalisms? Could it not also effect the generations to come? Darwin's Theory would show much more prevalence in this way.

I have often gone whole nights without sleep, much to my sorrow, as my body inevitably suffers from it. Are you certain? I was slapped by one of my friends when I asked her a simple question of "If the world were truely round, then why are there still hills and valley? Could it not have started out flat?" She did not appreciate my comment, but I was truely tired that day, and I had not slept any where near 8 hours in two weeks, so I suppose it really was an inane question. "Ah! The mind is such a terrible thing to loose!"

I am fairly certain. You question; however, is a rather humorous one. It has absolutely nothing to do with the Earth being a sphere, but it does have to do with the Earth being literally flat. XD

Many people, even military children, have closed minds about many things. I was just finishing a play. The Moyer Rec did "My Fair Lady", and I played the part of Jamie, the Sidekick of Doolittle, as well as assorted cockney parts. I am rapidly advancing o "The One and Only Alto" who can carry a tune. Oh, darn. This thread is very wonderful. When we do take it else where, we should probably post it somewhere obvious, such as the chatterbox on the main thread, so it is open for a bigger discussion. This, of course, does not mean we must pay them any attention. I, for one, rarely do when I am intent. Especially if they choose to make asinine comments. What say you?

I care not if you cuss. If you find it easier to state your mind with profane words, then so be it. The important part is that you're stating your mind.THe body is incredible. One can keep going, even when they are shot, or they can stop when they are merely slightly wounded. Unhealthy it may be, a habit it is more. I am sorry to say that I have had this problem for 4 years now, and it does not show signs of leaving any time soon. My mind? I have one? Ah, I hadn't expected the lack of sleep to be a recurring problem. I'm in no position to tell you what should be done with your body.
Well, you're certainly not a mindless fool undeserving of a brain matter.
If you leave, then so be it. I'll be content with the thought of you resting.Yes. I have seen doctors and such, but rather unfortunately, all they can say is "Have you tried this?" Short of giving me a sedative (And I intensely dislike needles) there is often no way for me to sleep. I have often gone whole nights without sleep, much to my sorrow, as my body inevitably suffers from it. Are you certain? Most of the time, when I speak out loud, I talk like this, and it talks people in circles, and drives them up the wall. "Ah! The mind is such a terrible thing to loose!" Ah, I couldn't imagine taking a sedative just to enjoy a simple nights' sleep. Is there something that keeps your mind racing, or is it your body that keeps you awake?
I am fairly certain. You question; however, is a rather humorous one. It has absolutely nothing to do with the Earth being a sphere, but it does have to do with the Earth being literally flat. XDIt is a slight combination of both, and the knowledge that I may never relax my guard once, for fear of a knife being slipped between the ribs. It is either that, or getting kidnapped. Take you pick. I know! But it was a bad day, I was tired, I had been standing all day to stay awake in classes, and here I was, just trying to be a part of a group of friends for once, and this happens. It just... slipped out of my mouth? I didn't mean it! XD I also have terminal memory loss. Not Alhiemerz. But literal brain entrophy.

LilyFarseer Varnell LilyFarseer Varnell LilyFarseer Varnell This is hardly a more light-hearted subject, but, regardless to the point, I would do what I must for survival.
Our life is hardly at stake by anything but our own stupidity. I did not concider your emotions in this venture. Please, fear not for my feelings. I pride myself in being open-minded, and hardly consider these topics offensive. I was simply noting the irony in your statement about it being a happier topic.
He has no natural predators.Oh Snard Arcks! To each their own. We all had different childhoods, and we can do nothing about them. I'm just thankful that I've come to the realization of being able to embrace acceptance and questioning.
I would love to take part in theatre. Are you currently in a play? If so, of what?
Humans are sheltered and infantile in terms of life. I know not what Darwin says about Cannibalism, however. Do you care to enlighten me? We we will soon be forced to carry this conversation either into another thread or private messages.A rare person indeed, if you accept the ability to question and think for your own, and even more rare when your mind is open to new ideas and thoughts. Well, that is the way all people should be, ideally.
I'm honestly not familiar with the play, but I wish you luck tomorrow.
I'm not so sure about the chatterbox, but I'm quite sure it would go relatively unnoticed. I'm actually amazed that I've posted so frequently in just a few hours. I haven't been this active in nearly a year. I remember the days when I was a moderator of this guild. xD
