"Sibyl" Said super hero tightened the black band on her head holding her purple hair up and out of her face before extending her hand at the exchanging of names.
"And if you're lookin for dirt on Luthor, you could be here a while." Sibyl went to say more on her current employer, but a glimmering green light out the corner of her eye caught her attention. She turned her head to see the residing member of Green Lantern Corps floating to the ground.
Her breath caught when Plasma pulled out a bat shaped device, no doubt from the Dark Knight himself. Batman wasn't exactly thrilled at her taking away Alfred, and the two avoided each other as much as possible. She was half relieved to see that a middle man was sent in his stead. That meant things wouldn't be completely awkward.
"You mean with Mr. Luthor? Speaking of the devil,” Sibyl lifted her sights to the emergency speakers hanging over head, counting off from ten in her mind. At one, the system hissed and whined then the voice of Lex Luthor was heard over the comm. She glanced around the station, gauging the reactions of the everyday passengers. Many held looks clearly announcing their lack of concern, although a handful dutifully looked to the speakers, listening to every word. Most of the civilians, however, were more interested in the superheroes, party of three, standing a ways from the entrance, as furtive glances were sent in that general direction.
"Anyone else get a bad feeling about that announcement?" A uniformed officer stepped down from stairwell leading up to the outside, his eyes scanning about until he spotted Sibyl. He nodded at her, crossing his arms, and lingering back. She took the hint, and hefted the restrained runner to his feet from his slouched position against the wall.
"I'll be just a moment," Sibyl motioned her head to the cop in explanation before moving the runner ahead of her and nudging him along. He was coming to, enough so he could stand but not so to put off much of a fight as Sibyl half dragged him across the station to the waiting officer.
"Just the one then?"
"Yeh Kyle, just the one. Most don't run anymore. Too bad to, I kinda like the work out." Sibyl passed the criminal over, who was now muttering about a guy in a purple cloak. The police officer gave him an odd look, but said nothing of it.
"So, a superhero convention?" Sibyl looked back, smirking at Plasma& Mind Freak as they conversed.
"Kinda looks looks like it, don't it? Want me to grab you a t-shirt?" Kyle just laughed, shaking his head before returning to cop mode.
"Nice job. I'll take him from here." Sibyl threw up a mock salute before the police officer turned the criminal about and marched him up the stairs to the awaiting cruiser. Once satisfied the man wasn't going to make a break for it, she whirled on her heel and headed back to the others.
"So is the pow-wow going down here, or something a bit more private?" The flow of commuters was getting heavier, and the three weren't exactly discussing casserole recipes.

A power to rip apart the very fabric of the universe. A line that had Forellen thinking absently of plot lines for her books. Another thought was don't these people ever think of the fact that if they rip apart the universe that they'd ultimately obliterate themselves as well. She couldn't answer that one. Her attention perked when she heard him mention her nickname. Shifter...she earned that at Xaviers and it had her frowning slightly as she replayed the conversation. Funny she didn't recall signing up for any kind of long term mission. The assumption that she'd just join up irritated her slightly. It wasn't that she wouldn't help. With the likes of Doctor Doom everyone who helped bettered the chances of shutting down what ever he had planned before he could pull it off. It was the asumption part of it that bugged her...they could have at least asked if she'd join in and help out before blindly assigning her to a team. If shewas that kind of person she'd decline and walk....but she wasn't...so she'd stay.

In one of the many tall buildings that populate Metroplis, on one of the middle floors, a single labratory assistant continues her work. Her work space was littered with papers, despite the cleanlyness of the rest of the lab.
"You really should clean this place up," a voice above her admonishes.
The assistant doesn't seem to recoil or act suprised, only replying. "You're late, Will." Pushing back her reading glasses, she looks up. The lab is a two story piece of the building, with two levels, one overhanging the other. Eying a figure standing on the balcony, she returns to her work. "I guess you finished your joyride, so help me with this."
"You're a spoil sport, you know." Jumping from the balcony, Will, or rather, Titan lands. Covered in black plate armor, he is an intimidating sight, but as he approaches the lab assistant, the 'armor' begins to sort of melt, pooling into liquid and disapearing. Under the armor is a suit made of synthetic material. After grabbing a lab coat from one of the walls, he approaches the lab assisitant. "Look, Lisa, I took care of the presentation, I don't need another one. What I say to Lexcorp or Wayne Enterprises shouldn't differ, they are both showing the same level of interest in investment, they deserve equal treatment."
Lisa sighs, removing her glasses and setting them beside her on the desk. "But the CEO's are very different, as are their buisness methods, don't you think..."
"No," Will admonishes, "We are a small nanotech firm, seeming over eager shows weakness and a lack of value. Indifference shows we have something of great value that lets us scorn them to a slight degree. Besides, Luthor is a p***k, and Wanye is emotionally detached, it's not worth the effort." Lisa prepares to comment, but Will places a hand on her shoulder. "We are years ahead of the others, and we keep that under wraps, heck, if I put myself under the knife, we'd be decades ahead. I'm not, though," he adds hastily. "I want to uderstand before I disect, hence the experiments. Don't worry about it, trust me." He gives a slight nod, then examines her notes. "Though, I will admit, some of this is quite good, I might use some of it." He nods aprovingly. "But right now, I'm tierd, I need sleep. Go home, you need it more then I do." As Lisa leaves, William turns on one of the computers, and flicks through some of his private notes. "Hmmmm....."

The time was now. Allison knew that this was not going to be an easy mission. Dr. Doom did not align himself with light weights. And if he was going after people like her, she knew that some of them had the potential to be terribly powerful. But that was neither here nor there, she was a super hero... and she would fight to protect the innocent lives that would be hurt if Doom succeeded.
Stepping out of her guest room in her blue uniform, she pulled her red hair back into a bun to keep it out of trouble in this fight. I don't need any loose ends getting in the way. Still, she was nervous even if she didn't want to show it. Sometimes, though, what she wanted and what her powers reflected were two different things. The seriousness from some other team members were radiating well enough that she, an empath, was able to pick it up. Her skin started to take on a slight tinge of blue to match the mood. She hadn't even noticed the change.
"A little blue today?" Tony's voice came up from behind as she was heading amidst team members to the jet.
This made her sigh and look at her skin, at which time, she willed herself back to normal pigmentation... although, it was the normal pigment she wanted people to see. Her birth form was more of a werewolf creature than a goddess. "There are some things I'm still working on..."
"Well, if you join the team, there are some you can learn from. You're good, Allison. You know we need you on the team," He threw the pitch at her again.
She wanted to say yes, but she kept thinking about home. Feeling a bit torn, she stammered, "Tony... I... Can we talk about this later?"
"We will talk about every week until you join the team," He smiled that arrogant and yet somewhat charming smile. He was definitly a man who knew how to get what he wanted. She smirked, shook her head, and walked into the hangar following Reed Richards towards Team A's jet. Before she seperated from the group, she put a hand on Tony's arm, "Be careful out there... so we can continue our conversation."
He nodded and the teams divided. Team A completely filled their jet. It was a good thing, they needed a full compliment. She was half surprised more Avengers weren't called in on this mission... but it would be good to have reserves. The jet left base and headed on the very short trip to their destination point.
Reed Richards stood at the head of the team and spoke, "We will touch down one block from where the base is. When we move in, keep your heads up. We have to strike first so B team can get in with no problems. Let's move!"
Team A touched down about 100 yards from the gated building that was serving as Doom's headquarters. Ceres immediately could feel a natural disturbance. It almost pained her to the point where she had to lean on a wall, "Whatever he is doing... it is deadly to this world..."
"Then we better move faster," Captain America said with Ms. Marvel flying above to take the lead. Ms. Marvel dove into the watch tower at the gate and started trouble. A siren sounded. At least fifteen elementals came out of the building and headed towards the clan of Avengers.
"Oh hell..." She mumbled. She recognized two of them... "We've got two fire starters coming up... Pyro and my ex husband..."

Geovani steping out of the Jet that he had just recently boarded he saw the elementals come out and smirked, "It is time for me to have some fun, Da?" without really waiting for an answer he was running towards the elementals but before the gate had been opened and turning into a ghost he turned into a misty substance as he melded through the gate and then dashed forward flying full speed into the a fire elemental to the left of the entrance and after gaining control began randomly throwing fire at elementals and at the base.
Suddenly his elemental body was engulfed in water from another elemental and quick as lightning Ghost switched over to the elemental and using the water as a sort of fist began sending blasts of it everywhere with no regard towards anyone else he was throwing the water as punches both at the building and at any of the elementals that came near all the while cackling.
This elemental was suddenly hit in the back of the head and Ghost went straight up from the elemental to overlook the battle

Shane was talking to Sibyl when Plasma arrived and ignored them both as soon as the announcement came on. Instantly his phone was ringing. He knew what they were going to say, and he knew that if he didn't answer it would be worse then if he did. Annoyed at the caller, he reached into his cloak and pulled out of nowhere the phone so non-descript it was hard to tell it was a phone, it didn't even have buttons on it.
"Stop Luthor. Gorllia City says the tech is supremely dangerous." Click.
Putting away the phone, and redding for being rude by picking up the phone, Shane turned to Plasma after shaking Sibyl's hand.
"Well if you are from the league and wish to help. We got to start now. If you can, contact the Martian and have him contact the rest of the league that is close enough to help. Lex's tech is something that Gorilla City, if you know what it is, I don't, says is too dangerous to use and we need to stop him, at least the Government thinks so. They just called. And as you can fly, you could help by transporting Sibyl and I to the fight too. If we meet up with Batman, as he is obviously in the area, we should let him make the plan. Cause I assume smashing the device after it has been turned on isn't a good idea. By the way, my name is Mind Freak," Shane said.

MARVEL UNIVERSE
A man with pure white hair wearing a reddish orange and black Japanese biker suit stood next to the wall of a gated building. Man I am kind of surprised from what I have heard of Doctor Doom that this isn’t to his castle. Then again security would be near impossible to get through there so I guess I can consider myself lucky. He was doing well for a man with now real stealth training, which is a reason that had him confused about why Fury sent him in alone to do this mission. Looking all around along the wall he looks for the easiest access point to get on the other side of the wall without being spotted.
After finding a place his adrenaline was starting to pump his breathing slowed down slightly as if it was to be what gave him away if he didn’t. He created two duplicates of himself to make scaling the easier so as to hopefully not set off any alarms. As the to duplicates took there positions next to each other by the wall ready to toss the true Teo over it the alarm suddenly sounds. The all three of Teo turn in different different directions to see if it was them that tripped the alarm.
That is when he notices a jet landed about the length of a football fields distance from the gate of the building. I thought I was to be doing this mission alone? He thought to himself feeling pretty sure if Fury was sending others here he would of told him. Especially with some of the group that unloaded from the jet Fury had to of known they were coming. Then again this is Fury he was thinking of that man would only tell you what he wanted to tell you.
Teo just stood his ground and recalled his dupes deciding to wait for the right time to join in the fight or use them as a distraction to get into the building. But seeing how this is Teo he could actually do both help fight and sneak into the building.
“In times like this it pays to be able to be in more then one place at the same time.” He said creating 6 duplicates 4 of which waited at the wall for a better opportunity to send 2 over the wall the other four started to scan through powers available in the area most of which were elementally based.

Forellen wasn't exactly sure what she was going to be able to do against elementals. She wasn't much for those kinds of fights. She had a nagging suspition she was going to be doing a lot of dodging and weaving for this fight and oh how she wasn't looking forward to it. She had little choice but to shut off her image inducer before the fight. She made sure that before they left she had most of her body covered up.
She kept to the back of the plane as they flew keeping herself quiet and trying to get herself ready mentally for the melee that was about to start. Once they were off she frowned as one dashed forward and started possessing elementals causing a lot of confusion amoungst them. She glanced around and shifted into a panther. Again the color was a eye catching purple. Yea. She was going to be doing a whole lot of moving today.

Plasma didn't say a word as he heard Mind Freak say the time to move was now. Of course, at the same time Mind Freak had gotten his call, the Manhunter was piping up on his own earpiece.
"Plasma. Luthor is making his move. You need to get there as quickly as possible," J'onn said.
"Roger that, J'onn. Do you have any available to help?"
"Aside from Batman, I could send the Arrow and Kara."
"Sure. Bring in Connor. Could make things a bit interesting. Oh, and has Superman talked with anyone in Gorilla City?," Plasma asked.
"He's having a time tracking down Solovar. It shouldn't be long though."
"Roger. Over and out." Plasma took his hand away from his ear and focused his attentions back on Mind Freak and Sibyl. "We've got two reinforcements but they'll be good enough, I think." Plasma pointed up towards the top of the building at Batman. "There's one now." In a flash of light, the Green Arrow was standing behind Plasma. "And there's the other one. Arrow. Mind Freak and Sibyl. Sibyl, Mind Freak. This is the Green Arrow." As Plasma finished the introductions, Batman leapt from his perch and joined the group as they began formulating their plan of attack.
While they were speaking amongst themselves, Plasma felt an odd sensation. Like he was being torn away from his power source. Without warning, the emerald glow he emitted faded as well as his uniform and mask. He was in the plain civilian clothes he covered up before heading to the Watchtower hours before hand.
"Something is not right... I'm being cut off from my power source. Would this have anything to do with Luthor's device?," T.J. said nonchalantly as he remembered even in his civilian garb he had a weapon. His standard issue .9mm handgun.
"Looks like our flying ticket is gone," Batman said before turning his comm unit. "J'onn. Teleport us to Luthor's...wait."
T.J. noticed his ring power back up and he quickly changed back into his uniform. "Get close and we'll take to the skies now. Formulate a plan on the move." As he said that, Plasma waited for everyone to bunch up. It'd make the flight a lot easier, and..." That was when Supergirl showed up.
Batman scowled as usual. "J'onn informed me that we can't teleport right in, but he did locate Luthor. Labs outside of town, western edge. We need to move and split up. I'll go with Supergirl and Mind Freak. Plasma, take the Arrow and Sibyl. We'll discuss attack formations on the move. Now let's move!"

Ceres was far enough back on the front to see the new comer creeping into their area. She sense duplication and something unnatural about the human forms... and yet, not natural. At first she wasn't sure if they were on her side or Doom's... but when she saw that he was staking out the joint, she assumed he was friendly.
Oh, and why was she on the out skirts? She had no intension of facing her ex-husband at the moment. She also could work the scene long range.
"New comer..." (referring to Teo) She said to one of the duplicates as she pushed her hand out towards the earth. Rumbling, the earth jarred up around the enemy and knocked them back, pinning them in. She only hopped that Team B was getting where they needed to be.
"New comer..." she said again finishing her thought, "what is your ability? Quickly... Doom is about to tear apart the fabrics of this world... we need all the help we can get keeping these elementals at bay."
She then looked at shifter, "Shifter, be fast, be quick. Many of our powers cancle each other out... you can bite, jab, and hurt. Move through them zagging so they can't touch you. I will shield you with my powers."
She had the elements in her hands. She knew they needed characters like Shifter on their team to be the rogue 'element' so to speak. And they needed it fast. Pyro charged out of the corner starting to light up the gates and anything that stood on the way.

Lex was guiding Alisa down to the staging area, with the brief case in his hand. The Chip inside was valueable for the next stage in the plan. He would use it as the master control once the sigularity was tapped. He could then hold the whole country for ransom. He could either pull his electricity and watch the rates spike after they dip so low in the comming years, or he could threaten to unleash a surge to blow out the whole grid. And with this little marvel of a chip, there would be no conceivable way to wrest control of his powerstation from him.
Cuckling to himself, he pulled out a seat for the woman. Something caught his eye about her hair, but after looking again, he dismissed it as a trick of the light. "have a seat. What you are about to witness is something all religious fanatics and scientists would trade their lifes to view. I brought some champaign for the occasion. Oh, and I hope you don't mind, but I will have my secretary and a few other of my acossiates (sp?) in with us too." Pulling out his hand-held. He saw that the capacitors were ahead of schedual at gathering charge. This day was going to be spectacular.

Sibyl nodded at Green Arrow, having never met him in person before, but recognizing his attire immediately. He was definitely a legend not to mess with. However, the violet haired super hero pointedly ignored the Dark Knight as the guys discussed the next move, though she could feel the daggers of his glance through the black mask.
About the time Plasma's glow flickered away, Sibyl peered around suspiciously, half expecting to find some of Luthor's goons lurking around the corner. That definitely can't be a good thing. She couldn't shake the feeling of impending doom currently residing in her gut.
She listened carefully to Batman's arrangement order for the split up, grateful the two of them weren't grouped together. Sibyl didn't want to deal with him more than necessary, he held onto grudges longer than anyone she had met before.
"Um, what if you're cut off again, say when we're hovering a couple hundred feet above the ground?" She inquired as she moved closer to Plasma and the Green Arrow, her designated partners, not really wanting to think about the chance of that happening.

Forellen nodded and focused on the elemental leading the charge. Pyro. She was going to enjoy this. Last time she ran into him she came out on the loosing end of the encounter. She bunched her muscles and charged forward. She moved in a zig zag pattern changing directions at random as fire and other elements blasted the ground around her. She had to hit Pyro before he could get himself going. Once he was down she was going to have to keep moving hitting whoever came into range. She would have to hit to disable and move on...if she stopped she'd probably get bar-b-que'd something feirce. She hoped that her allies could keep the earth elementals quiet...she could probably handle the rest is she kept moving.

"If that happens, I'll radio J'onn and have him teleport us to the ground safely," Plasma said, rounding the two up with some emerald energy. Supergirl grabbed Mind Freak and Batman by an arm and flew up into the air at the same time. "Besides, I think that Ganthet would take care of any power source issues. Especially if I've got it back now."
As he said that, he effortlessly flew up into the air, and sped the emerald bubble forward as fast as he could. Supergirl, with all the zeal in the world, flew faster. Plasma didn't resist the urge to try and keep up. It only took roughly five minutes to get to the western edge of town, and Luthor's labs. It wasn't hard to see which lab it was. It was the one with all the strewn about robotic parts, and craters in the grounds above it.
"Split up!," Batman barked over his comm unit. "Your team go through the Western entrance. We'll go through the Eastern side."
"Roger. Time to touch down, folks," Plasma said as he sped towards the ground, and deposited all three of them down as gently as he could. But the moment they hit the ground, Luthor's robotic minions seemingly poured from everywhere and started to engage them all in battle. The Arrow fired off three bolts simultaneously, incapacitating three robots before Plasma put up an energy shield to protect the three from harm.
"Batman. We've got a situation," Plasma said as he held the shield strong in front of the trio. With little effort, he turned the shield into a bulldozer blade and knocked down another row of robot sentries.
"I know. We've got Kara to knock down the door and we're breaching the corridors."
"Someone get us in there!," Plasma yelled as he and the Arrow started to take down robots individually. "I know this isn't a competition, but Batman and company are already inside!"

Teo and a few of his dupes continued moving toward the group when finally they all found the powers they were going to use. One of the dupes copied the power of the Thing instantly familiar orange rock like skin appears although it still has Teo’s appearance. The next dupe took on Quicksilver’s powers and instantly took off at incredible speed. The third dupe took on Ms. Marvel’s powers and took off into the air. The forth and real Teo copied the powers of The Invisible Woman’s powers to in hopes help protect and imprison the elementals on Dooms side.
A voice chimed up in his ear that wasn’t familiar to him. ”What Heroes you bring what villains are here if any one of them have the abilities you need I can have it and more then one of it.” He said simply knowing the small display the other three did when copying the powers and using them right away would so evidence of his abilities. If they knew the people with those powers.
The Teo that had Quicksilver’s powers sped around the battle field picking off stragglers who became slightly startled at the sudden appearance of an extra speedster. He would throw a fast jab on one person and quickly move on to the next tying up a series of five guys. Who in rapid succession are taking a hit before there wits can return to them from the earlier blow.
The Ms. Marvel version of Teo picked up the one like the Thing carrying him into the air to drop him in the middle of the elemental tide to hopefully cause enough chaos to cause the group to lose concentration and confusion within their ranks.
