Much happened in this month. This includes: seeing the final three types of the Choumeida (Blessed, Fallen, and Faeling), more previews of pets that will be included in the Wild's Event, the Prelude Event, Regalwily's commission slots, some Rakki growings, and a new Monthly Nomination Winner.
July's Monthly Nomination Winner is Zsabrina. A big congratulations to the winner. Remember to stay active in the thread, not bumping however, and next month could be you.
Some Rakki growths were posted during the month by Lime Colored Band-aid. Congratulations to the owner's of these Rakki, they all look amazing.
The Choumeida species, as you all learned last month consists of four stages and has quite a few different hairstyle choices. However this month we also learned much more about them. Though the Blessed Choumeida was introduced last month, it was still a fairly new type and we didn't learn as much about them till this month. More information is included in the In-Depth Hespierden Guide. The Choumeida's types include Natural, Blessed, Fallen, and Faeling. Each type has different attributes that make it different from the other.
The Natural Choumeida is most likely the most common of the four, as they are what the usual Choumeida looks like. The Blessed Choumeida is an angelic type of Choumeida, with wings and a golden halo. The Fallen Choumeida is the exact opposite to the Blessed Choumeida, with dark wings and a dark halo. Finally the Faeling Choumeida, fairly new that no information as of right now is about them in the In-Depth Hespierden Guide, has fairy like wings. The last three types are all fairly rare indeed, goodluck to all who wish to have one of these elusive types.
The Wild's Event is just around the corner, with more and more previews being posted every so often. More information on this below in other posts.
Just recently, regalwily opened up some commission slots for some Minya. A congratulations to Miss Pink Milk, Lorako, and Taerar Licorne who won those opened slots.
The Prelude Mini Event went quite well indeed! A huge congratulations to the winners of those Choumeida and to the person who won the RP Contest. The pets up for grabs were Choumeida and one special Hespierden. During the auction and raffle, a RP Event was hosted by the thread managers of the thread. Though the RP Event wasn't as successful as we would of liked it to be, I hope those who participated still enjoyed theirselves.
The basic summary of the RP Event was that the Itoku were in danger by a villain. This villain eventually captured two Itoku and hid them. Once the two, Tumaini and Peri, were found it was decided to find whoever did that to them and capture this villain. The villain, Kamenwati, was finally captured and after being convinced by two Minya it was decided that Kamenwati would find a new home. Congrats to the rp contest winner.
And this closes July's summary of things that have went on during the duration of the month.

The Wild's Event, like mentioned above, is extremely close. On August 3rd it will take off with a bang. Though not every pet has been completed yet, the event will begin with the pets that have been created so far. Itoku, Choumeida, and Minya (Domestic) are the ones so far up for grabs but expect Kirishitsuno's, Chinua's, Runt Minya, and Rakki's as well.
The Wild's Event is what Gate to Hesperides hopes will be our biggest event yet so we hope you all can make it because it'll be a blast, I'm sure. With 30+ pets up for grabs so far, definately new owners will come forth to have a Hespierden or even a Hesperide of their very own. I wish all those trying for a pet in this event, luck.
The Wild's Event consists of pets which will be cosplayed after animals and flowers which live all over the globe. Each pet is different from the other, though similiarities are expected since many animals or flowers can be similiar to another. Suggestions are still, to my knowledge, open so if you are interested in seeing a particular animal or flower cosplayed, suggest it! Who knows, it may be done.
Remember, August 3rd is when the event kicks off. Hope to see you all there.

I knew instantly that this thread would be a success. The thread pulled me in by the title but when I began to read the introduction, about Hera and this garden I was hooked. Mythology has always been something I have enjoyed, especially Greek mythology, and so when I read that this thread had some mythology to it, I knew this was a thread I wanted to be a part of.
On August 7th, 2006 the first thread of Gate to Hesperides was created. However it wasn't until two weeks later or so when the shop's first flatsale began, where the first species was introduced. The Minya. I won't deny it, the Minya was every much of a reason to be apart of this thread as were the Greek mythology elements to it were.
The Rainbow flatsale was a success, bringing in many people to fall in love with this shop as I have done. The thread had become something. Pages flew by, and more and more people came to be apart of this shop. Months past, new species were introduced (Chinua and Kirishitsuno in particular), and events occured.
Unfortunately soon before the Winter Event a new thread for this shop was created, we all said our goodbyes to the old thread and started once more anew. The Itoku and the Rakki were soon afterwards introduced, the Winter Event was a success and more months past by. The Chrono Cross event was next.
More and more months flew by quickly, we found ourselves in another new thread though that was fine. The Choumeida was then to become a part of Hesperides, what beauties they are! This leads us to where we are now, right before the Wild's Event takes off.
The thread has come a long way, in my opinion, and I hope it will continue onwards as great as it is still when I first saw it so long ago. Thank you to DawnieChan who created this wonderful shop with such diverse pets as well as the people who stick around to chat as you make this place so much more. An early happy birthday Gate to Hesperides!

 The Wild's Event, obviously.
Regalwily's breedings is another one. It is still unknown when she will be having the slots open for them but expect them to be soon. Details like how many slots there will be are still unknown. Note, this is only for Minya couplings.
Though since the Wild's Event will be running through this date it may go un-noticed but for me it will not. On August 7th it will be the 1st birthday of when Gate to Hesperides was first created. Of course we are now into our third thread, in which cases people may not realize that was when the thread was first brought into the Breedables forum. Just a head's up if you want to say congratulations or happy birthday, etc. Post above says more.

As I'd like to give out more flowers to others, I've decided on a game for anyone who wants to, to play. However please note that these game prizes are only for the first 10 people who complete the game. You can still do the games if you want to but you unfortunately won't win any flowers from it. Sorry for any incovenience.
The game involves answering a set of questions and pming the questions with the answers to me, Rita Zyon. After I have received your answers with the questions as well, you will receive 5 daffodils.
Set of Questions:
1. What is your username? 2. When did you first find this shop, Gate to Hesperides? 3. What attracted you to the shop? What made you stay? 4. Do you have a favourite out of all the species that are available in the shop? If so, what? 5. Do you own any pets yet from here? If so, what are/is their name(s) and what species are they? 6. If you were given the choice to choose the shop's next event theme, what would you choose? Why? 7. Do you think you will participate in the Wild's Event? 8. Out of curiosity, what is your favourite animal/reptile/etc? What's your favourite flower or plant? 9. What do you think the shop needs to improve on? Or do you find it fine the way it already is? 10. Do you enjoy roleplaying? Why? 11. What's your favourite colour or colour scheme? Again out of curiosity. 12. Did you find this questionnaire alright? Were there any sort of questions you wished I asked but didn't?

This here concludes our third issue of The Hesperides Report. Hope you all enjoyed but if not, that's cool with me because everyone has an opinion. Well anyway look out for the next issue, August, which will come at the end of next month as well. End.
