"Well he said his magic couldn't go that far. But from all the hystorical texts and whatnot, I found out where it should be! so we should get a boat and find it there! Did you all find anything out? And why is regal hurt.... ou just went to the bar didn't you! Grr.. crazy fighters..."

No we haven't been to the bar yet. This man in fornt of us is the harbor master, and unfortunately he did not have any usefull information for us.

We helped repair the magical detection perimiter. Their wizards keep getting attacked when they do it so they needed some protection.

"Hmmmm, well, we don't have all that much in the way of sea worthy ships; all we have are coast hugging boats. All the ships that come and go from the docks nowadays are warships loaded up with cargo, thanks to the demon attacks."
He considers your options. An adventurer's way was never easy, he knew, and they were willing to go through a lot to get their reward.
"Still, I guess you could buy or borrow one from someone who is confined to the harbor because of the demons. Or you could find yourself a wrecked out ship, fix it up yourselves; works best if you're a magical tinker of sorts, but if the wreck isn't too terribly bad anyone can fix a ship up. Then there's always flying..."

"So what would you say is the 'Safest' way to travel? From the tone of your voice i'd say that flying isn't going to be to safe."

"Well... If you fly then you're safe from the demons on the sea, but the demons in the air come after you then... It's your decision not mine, but you're going to have to deal with the ones on the water eventually for your quest. If you still wanted to fly, I'm certain you could procure some magical flying boots, an enchanted winged backpack, or even a Saddle of the Pegasus if you had a horse."
"As for wrecked ships, none easily available. You'd have to either raise one from the harbor, or go further out. Not many people tread near the swamps of the old ruins, and there's a nasty face of rocks near there where you may find a wreck. That would be a good spot to start; the entire coast for miles south of there is awful, especially in a storm."

stare You are not the only one who has experience with magic you know. I am up for either obtaining some flying gear or rebuilding a ship. Or perhaps we should look into both options?

That would be good as well. So we are in agreement to find and rais a ship. What do you say Gerbo? Should we also look into obtaining some magic tiems as well?
