Zeyla smiled, "You read my mind." She tried to push through the huge crowd, but was immediately rejected and shoved back to her starting spot. She crossed her arms and stared at the backs of the heads of people in front of her. Zeyla was struck with a bright idea, she reached up and tapped the shoulder of a man in front of her. He turned around and she waved for him to come closer so she could whisper something. He leaned his head down next to hers and she whispered "I think those people over there have the REAL worm person." The man stood surprised and turned around to look at everyone else and then looked as if he told a few others. Just then about 50 people rushed in the opposite direction of where Farley had the real worm person, not the fake one Zeyla had just made up.
She winked at Jamison as half of the space had just been cleared out in the matter of 10 seconds. Zeyla grabbed Jamison's hand and pulled him up to a spot where only two or three short people were in front of them. She smiled thinking of how the people who had just run off would probably be extremely pissed at her.

Mortal Being ...once over, and however long it would take him to recover depending on if he took a spill or not, he would look to where the dog had ran off. A person couldn't pass between the bars but it wasn't so high that someone with reasonable athleticism couldn't scale it with ease. Aaron would make a safe landing. Puffin spun around exitedly, looked up at Aaron and barked. Sticking her nose to the ground once more she regained the trail and followed it doggedly. Crossing the street she headed down a smelly alleyway. Garbage and other rotting things might have distracted someone with lesser nostrils but Puffin remained focused. The street Puffin had crossed wasn't very heavily trafficked at this time of day so Aaron could have crossed quickly if he chose. A large clock in the middle of the park sounded that it was ten thirty in the morning.

HollyxDolly ...Pushing and elbowing through the crowd, they were nearing the front. Ryan followed as closely as the packed street would allow. Once at the front, the sight of an old man with a megaphone shouting and hyping up the crowd met his eyes. The man seemed to be stalling slighty, maybe a little unsure of his own promises. Ryan scanned the crowd for the girl but suddenly realized he had no idea what she looked like. He tugged on Alaina's shirt in the back to get her attention. "What does she look like? Is she here?" From this vantage point it would have been possible to spot Alaina's quarry, had he known who to look for, because near an area where a large chunk of the crowd oddly dispersed there stood the girl and another boy.

~.Forever Enchanted.~ ...She pushed her way forward through the rucus of people's frantic and random conversations until she reached the front of the mob. She then looked foward, watching the commotion. An old man was shouting his story about how he met a "worm-person" to cheers of "Let's see it!" from the crowd. A tall boy with black hair looked as Ember squeezed by him. The man's words faded as his focused turned to the girl. A strange urge to do something rash to gain her attention seized him but shyness stayed him. I've got to at least talk to her, c'mon man... He searched for something to say, hoping to hide behind his anonymity at the moment. At last he found the words and he leaned down a little and said it loudly over the shouts of the man in hopes of gaining her attention. No sooner were the words out of his mouth than he began to feel very awkward. "Man, this is crazy isn't it"

HELLANiiCE ...Zeyla grabbed Jamison's hand and pulled him up to a spot where only two or three short people were in front of them. She smiled thinking of how the people who had just run off would probably be extremely pissed at her. Jamison trailed Zeyla and marveled at the spectacle. From here it was easy to see just how large the crowd was. He could spot people up in open building windows with binoculars. Wishing to himself that he had a shop on main street, he pondered how much money he could make from this massive gathering. Police whistles punctuated the nose as they directed traffic from somewhere out of sight. Looking around the front of the circle closest to Old Farley he watched the people and their reactions. He saw two people roll up to the front, they looked a little like people from a gang called City Rush. He squinted to make sure, but he felt he was right about his assumption. Weren't they the ones that messed with Zeyla's mural? He thought to himself, wondering if she might have seen them too.

Ember jumped a little in surprise at his words. The confusion had put all of her focus on, well, she didn't even know. But for some reason, his words seemed to come out of nowhere. A thought of clarity among a sea of confusion. She looked over at him and shook her head. "I...I don't really know. I can't even tell what's going on. What's all of this about worm-people?" Her words were shouts, but quiet compared to most. As she looked over again, she stopped for a moment, and smiled, but continued with her thoughts. "Do you have any idea what's happening?"

The sound of a T.V. blaring could be heard in the grimey hallway of an old apartment building. The sound from the T.V. was soon accompanied by a high pitched alarm beeping. A delicate hand slammed down on the alarm clock moments before movement came from under a rather large pile of sheets and blankets. More limbs soon appeared, followed soon enough by a mop of blonde hair. Both hands moved to this young woman's face as she pulled the blonde hair free from her saphire eyes. Lily grumbled and yawned as she quite literally rolled out of bed. A loud thud and a soft curse and she was awake. Her head appeared over the side of the bed as she stared at the alarm clock. Her bright eyes went wide as she looked at the time. "s**t!" She exclaimed as she jumped up and grabbed a pair of jeans.
She jumped around her room, pulling the jeans on and doing them up. She then grabbed her black and hot pink studded belt with one hand, and a pale pink shirt with the other. She pulled the shirt on over her lacey black tank top and quickly laced the belt through the loops, buckling it up as she headed for the door. She stopped for only a second to stare at the T.V., which was set to channel 7. She listened to the reporter mention something about 'worm-people' as she slipped on her black and teal blue skater shoes. She grabbed her navy blue hat and a hair elastic, along with her keys, and was out the door.
Lily quickly locked the door behind her, shoving her keys in her pocket once she was done. She then proceeded to tie up her hair while running down the hall, her hat held tightly in her mouth. She threw open the buildings doors and ran towards the nearest bus stop. It would be a good ten minute ride to get to the bar she worked at. Once she had tied her hair up in a rather messy bun, a few blonde strands falling free, she shoved her hat on her head and dug into her pockets for her bus pass. She made it just in time to catch the bus, panting slightly from running down the four flights of stairs. She swiped the pass and took a seat, still panting slightly. She could now relax as she waited for the bus to take her to the stop right outside the bar she worked at.

Zeyla stood turning her head every which way waiting for something, anything to happen. Just then she spotted the gang member from earlier. The one who had ruined her mural. She started to slink down to avoid being seen, she was almost completely behind Jamison with a little room to peek out and still see what was going on. "It's the girl from earlier, the one who ruined my mural. God dammit! She has her band of goons with her. Don't let them see me!" Zeyla scooted over more to be hidden behind Jamison completely, the height difference with them was huge. Zeyla clutched onto the back of Jamison's jacket afraid they might want to get her back for squirting paint in that girl's face. It seemed she had gotten it off...it wasn't THAT bad she thought.

" Do you have any idea what's happening?" He shook his head and turned to avoid eye contact, he was becoming more nervous. "As far as I know, this guy" he pointed to the Old Man in the center "is going to be showing us something really big. Big enough that the Police are blocking traffic for him." He then leaned down a little further and spoke in as private a tone as could be done in this raucous environment "My name is Brian by the way, nice to meet you." He said, extending his hand. He paused waiting to hear her name as there came upon the crowd a sudden change in tone. It became hushed and the Old Man stepped to his side and crouched down beside a sewer cover.

Nicole Laurin ...She swiped the pass and took a seat, still panting slightly. She could now relax as she waited for the bus to take her to the stop right outside the bar she worked at. The bus gave a hiss as it roared to a start. At the front sat the driver with a blank stare, chewing on sunflower seeds and listening to a channel on his Audiobox. Murmurs of conversation filled the bus. Outside cars and people passed by, off on their own business. Slowly, the buildings became less decrepit as the bus plowed towards the heart of the city. Beside Lily sat a stern-looking woman wearing fine clothes reading a newspaper whose headlines read "Main Street Mystery". At the back sat a rambunctious group whom were frequently given harsh looks by the driver up front. Across from her sat two rather plain looking people who were talking heatedly about some strange goings on. It seemed the city had awoken to a buzz of excitement. Two stops had gone by and it was now Lily's stop next. Though a few blocks a way yet, several passengers readied their belongings to depart. But the bus had scarce begun to regain momentum when the driver slammed on his brakes sending his sunflower seeds rocketing forward and spilling all over the floor by his feet. Turning around to face a bus full of disgruntled passengers he hastily pointed outside towards the front of the bus and murmured something. People at the front got up to look and immediately a hum of talk filled the bus as those at the front talked about what they saw and those at the back talked about what it might be. With a huff and a quick fold of her newspaper, the woman beside Lily stood up and forced her way to the front. She demanded to be let out insisting that she would complain to the Bus company about her lateness and stormed out. Seeing the open door, other passengers couldn't resist. Like a flood, they rushed outside to see what had stopped the bus completely forgetting other responsibilities.

Lily had been staring off in the distance, not really paying attention. She had taken this bus so often that her hand would move on its own to pull on the line that would let the driver know that someone wanted to get of. However, as her hand had moved up to pull, the bus had come to a sudden stop. Lily's head flew forward, then came back sharply. She let out a groan of pain, perfectly prepared to join the business woman in her rampage. However, when she made to get up, the entire bus seemed to be pushing past her. She was forced back into her seat.
Once the entire bus had emptied, she got up, rather pissed off at this point, and made her way out of the bus. "Looks like I'm walking from here." She had her head down as she stepped off the bus, but the crowd of people distracted her and she looked up. Curiousity nagged at her, never a good thing. She bit her lip nervously, she was already late for work. She knew her boss was going to be mad, but she just couldn't help herself. She made her way over to where the other passengers were and pushed her way forcefully to the front.

It was too late for Zeyla to hide, because Alaina had already spotted her. "There she is!" she pointed to Zeyla hiding behind the man from before. She narrowed her eyes and her hands balled up into fists, her cheeks turning red with anger. And then she just smiled mischeviously, a grin that she hoped the stupid hippie girl would see. That guy can't protect you forever, not with all of us she thought evilly.

Step into the dreams of Tomorrow... Ember smiled and took his hand, starting to speak. "I'm--" Before she could finish the old man was kneeling down. What was he doing? Was he going to open the sewer? Who would want to go and do thing like that? It was so disgusting down there after all. She shook her head and completed her sentence, speaking in a hushed tone to match the crowd. "Ember." Not saying another word she quickly turned again though. She didn't want to miss a thing. She would speak if spoken to, but right now her curiosity was getting the best of her and she didn't have much to say. She had heard about the meteor. Everyone had. But worm people? They went beyond what even she, the girl who had millions of strange or creative thoughts tucked away in the back of her mind, could not imagine. ...and Enter the World of the Past

"The saw me..." Zeyla whispered to Jamison as she continued to clutch for dear life to the back of him. She wondered what they were going to do to her, after all it wasn't like she had physically hurt the girl. And she deserved it, she ruined my goddamn painting, Zeyla thought to herself. She almost was about to peer out from behind Jamison, but then realized that was too risky. So, she stood, clutching Jamison's back and breathing heavily. She usually wasn't this scared of people. But, there was something about a giant street gang being after her and everything that she hadn't experienced before.

"Gah!" Puffin was still running off, and he only had thirty minutes to snag the dog up and return to Mr.Snaggybottom. Could he possibly accomplish this task? Sure he had to, otherwise he would lose his reputation as a dog walker. That was something he did not want right now. So as quick as he could, he steadied himself, and set his body in motion.
Quickly he ran across the street, making sure to jet across when there were no cars that could spell his death. After all he could not catch a dog if he was dead, not that he would give up his life for a mutt anyways. So at his fast pace he could easily make it from one side to the other within seconds after the dog did. However the dog was still running off! What audacity! What tenacity! To keep trailing off, just barely within his eyes length, was Puffin playing with him? If so he would just let the dog run off in the alley way by herself. In fact he was just about to do that, but something pushed him to go after her. Perhaps being a dog walker meant more to him then he thought.
So with that said, he would trail her through the alleyway, if he ever needed to jump over garbage, trash cans, or bums, he would, all in the pursuit of Puffin. She would not leave him behind. No, not at all. Nothing was going to stop him from chasing her.
