The MoUsY spell-checker Xumbra I like to think of English as the lovechild of Latin and Swahili. English, with all its borrowing of other languages, is meant to be messed up, ya know? Isn't it more... Anglo-Saxon and Norman French? Then again, what's that quote again? Quote: We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.
Where did you get that quote from?
I want a source to it now cause I want to steal it xD
