Baroness seemed to be weighing her options as the woman yelled at her and threatened her. She wasn't so much afraid of her as she was annoyed by that evil thing she was holding, it looked like a snake and spat water! Her tail started to lash but when she heard the words 'where is your partner' her eyes went wide. Surely the woman wasn't going to hurt Ter? Baroness barred her teeth and growled deep in her throat, no human was going to dare!
Luckily for all involved though Ter had decided that the sounds of angry dragons was something that meant 'better hurry' before Baroness could even process or come up with any stupid ideas the snake appeared to reach out and grab hold of one of her spines.
The Wyvern gave a snarl, turning to see the new attacker... then blinked, "Ter!"
"Don't even give me that 'happy to see me' stuff." He said, then started to look around the kitchen, "Well hell..." He said, not even noticing he'd cursed as he took in the damage to the kitchen, the black dragon, then to Baroness herself, "What were you doing Baroness!?"
He had a bad feeling that his idiot of a father was going to soon be involved... damn the luck...

Zyanya was in the least amazed at the amount of damage that had occurred in the kitchen, though was somewhat releived that it looked as if Keir and Baroness had been fighting. Not that, that was a goo dthing...but at least it wasn't Baroness and hinder....speaking of which...where was her green?
Keir gave a final glare to Baroness before her turned and sculked off towards the garden to tend ot his wounds. He knew he would be lectured later, despite the fact he had tried to protect the home from a potential theft. He also needed to have a word with Hinder....
Jayoku refocused her gaze to settle on Ter. "So ...this is your dragon Ter?" she asked keeping her voice as level as she could manage, though her clenched hand was a bit of a give away of her anger. She then shot Z a look of I will talk to you later.
Hinder peered from behind a wall, taking in the situation and thining it wuld be best to stay where he was. Keir was leaving. That was good, but Baroness was being scolded and so was her partner. did that mean neither could come over again? he had greatly hoped to see more of the 'kissing' Z and Ter did.

Ter looked over at Jayoku after he finished looking around the kitchen once more then gave her an odd look, "As if I would come and grab hold of some random dragon." He said, did she think that he was suicidal? He had to much to look forward to that he wouldn't risk a hand for someone else's kitchen.
He gave a tug on the spine in his hand and Baroness scooted a couple of steps back so that she was closer to being at Ter's side. The wyvern turned to nuzzle at Ter's arm as if she were trying to get him on her side in everything, he was for the moment ignoring her.
"Baroness is mine." He said, then puffing up a bit. The woman looked like she were about to explode... that was a bit scary, maybe he should make a retreat for home? Surely this battle wasn't one worth fighting.

Zyan didn't like her mother using that tone with Ter. She had no right, even if...Baroness did ...make a mess in the kitchen. Her wings flared up defensively, and she made a half step in front of him and Baroness.
Jayoku retorted before thinking, a habit she gained from her own mother long ago, "Don't act smart with me young man. Take your dragon outside before she does any more damage." she ordered pointing with her hand which held the hose towards the backyard.
"I have ....a phone call to make." she said between clenched teeth cracking a wrist as she tried to steady her breathing.
Z had seen her mother angry many times...this...was a first. She had never seen her mother THIS angry before. "Come on Ter.." she said knowing when to back down from her mother. Jeeze she was scary.

Ter refused to admit any fear! He starred back at Jayoku as she growled at him and he flicked his tongue out before giving a snort, "As if she were alone in the mess making." He muttered then started towards the door, "Come on Baroness."
He reached out when he heard his name being said by Z and took her hand in his as he moved outside. Best to be out of the house with the air that was so thick with many of emotions that it was no doubt possible to cut it with a knife. He then gave a grummbling sound releasing Baroness who hurried on ahead then turned and hiss at the door to the house. After it was closed mind you, she didn't want to act weak either but she wasn't sure how much she wanted that woman to hear her either.
Scary...
Ter looked over at Z, "Sorry about that... Had I known she would make a mess..." He didn't care as much for the mess as he did for the fact that Z would get in trouble for it.

Zyan sighed as the exited the household. Squeezing Ter's hand as the 'fled' from her mothers peircing gaze. As much as she hated to admit it, her mom was rather scary when angry. And it usually took a lot for her to be angry.
"Sorry about my mother." she said patting Baroness neck. "I know you wouldn't make a mess unless provoked." She continued with very little thought of what caused Baroness to be provoked in the first place.
Hinder on the other hand, was sucking up to the matriarch in the kitchen. He came slinking forward looking surprised byt the mess and even went as far to vaugely attempt to help 'clean'. He was rewarded with a weary smile and a pat on the head. Jayoku had always been a sucker for good behavoir and this rewarded him with a chunk of meat from the fridge. The slab of beef was thick, it made his mouth water as he gently took it from her hand and gave a somewhat purr like sound before exciting the room.
He got outside price in hand and knew full well what he was going to to do with it. What better way to win Baroness over then with meat? They often said food was the way to a person's heart. And she was absorbed with her own self importance that she wouldn't recal him not helping out whatsoever in the fight.
Jayoku looked at the mess, her anger gone as quickly as it had come. She should know or at least expect this kind of thing to happen. But best she call Orpheus and let him know about the damage caused. She ignored Ter's comment about the fact Baroness wasn't all to blame. She knew Keir probably started the whole mess, but she would deal with the black later. Right now she dropped the hose to the ground and moved to the phone. She picked it up and dailed..and listened to the ring as she waited for someone to pick up.

Ter gave a shrug then collapsed back against his coils and watched the house a moment, thinking, "Tempting to sneak off now, I am sure she is calling my father." He muttered, considering the idea then decided that the trouble he got in would no doubt be worsened by him running off. There would be no escape as he was still stuck living at home.
Baroness was leaning back on her tail, wings open wide as she looked over the small markings on them. What a pain she had little scarrings on her wings and her chest as well where the acid had hit the hardest. It wasn't as bad there though as the wings since the skin on her wings was thinner, easier to mark up. Damned black!
She growled when Hinder came over towards here, eyes narrowing. He'd vanished when that woman had come in growling and hosing everyone off... she wouldn't admit to the fact that she thought he was lucky. Stupid water anyway! Though he did seem to have stolen something out from out from under the woman... how? Her golden eyes widened in surprise.

Zyan chewed on her lower lip, Ter was right, he could try and escape his father before he managed to get over here. But that made her angry cause it meant Ter would be leaving.
"We could sneak off together." she offered the idea suddenly light bulbing i her head. She liked the idea. meant she could be with Ter alone and not worry about sneaking around. but where would they go?
Hinder placed the meat in front of Baroness, looking proud of himself. My dear goddess I brought you meat. It was a challange trying to get it without the red haired woman noticing...but I hopeyou can accept it. He lied throughhis draconic teeth. He hadn't snuck it out he had been given it.

"As much as I would love to sneak off and hide out with you." Ter said then shrugged , "best to wait and deal with his grouching now right? He can get it out of his system and then I can get back to life." He said, laughing a bit. He didn't think that his father was gonna do much since he never did, the guy had no back bone or attention span when it came to grounding.
Baroness looked over at Hinder, as he spoke then gave a bit of a laugh, "Not much in a fight but a damn good theif." She said, forgetting about her scars for the moment as she took the offering and used the 'hands' she had on her wings to hold it and then tore it in half with her teeth giving the other half back to Hinder. He deserved it for his daring if you asked her.

Orpheus gave a grunt, lifting his head from the couch and moved the newspaper he'd used to block the light. He looked around, blinking a few times before realizing he was blind because of his lack of glasses. He groped around for them, put them on before stummbling over to the ringing phone still half sleeping, "Hrm?" Was his answer to the one on the other end.

Zyan let out a sigh and nodded her head. Yah it was probably best that they didn't run away together...just yet anyway. She perked up some though.
"You know if you do get grounded we should sneak out together, and meet at the park." she said with a nod of her head. "I can get blankets and other things and we could sleep in the tree house i saw there." she continued her idea starting to make her excited.
Hinder hadn't expected the meat to be shared but was pleased nontheless. This meant that Baroness was starting to trust him. Ah I am sorry mistress. But acid against acid does very little, and I didn't want to risk poisoniing you with my chlorine gas..

Ter gave a grin and nodded, "Yeah, we haven't gotten to use our escape and meet plan. I think somehow now would be a good time to try it out." He agreed then set to thinking about that, yeah he could definately do some camping out with Z.
Baroness nodded, "I suppose not." She wondered if that was truely the reason but would believe it for now. After all it did make sense right, what use was acid against more acid unless you were determining who could make the bigger mess. Her tail set to swishing, "Chlorine gas?" She found herself asking, what strange sort of thing was that?

Zyan perked as Ter readily agree'd they needed to try out the escape from home plan. Holding his hand she squeezed it tightly in excitement.
"How about we try it sometime next week?" she asked sounding very childish, her excitement overflowing. to get away from the house was one thing she truely desired and if she got to spend her time away with Ter that made it even better.
Hinder looked a bit embaressed at Baroness's question about the gas. Yes...it is highly poisonous...so i dare not use it with our partners around.. he made the excuse to not have to show Baroness what it smelt like and he himself didn't know a whole lot about it in the first place. But the meat is to your liking? He asked trying to subtly switch topics.
Jayoku was a bit thrown off by the answer, did she dial the right number? It sure did sound like him..."Orphues?" she queried first to make sure she did indeed get the right number. She could already feel her anger receeding like the tide. She never did stay angry for long periods of time, and the idea that she was speaking with the red headed teacher made her a bit wishy washy. How could she yell at him? he was just so darn cute!

"Week sounds good, enough time to lull them into a sense of them winning." He murmured to her, then gave a fanged grin. Ter was a bad, bad snake at times. Not that it would seem many if any of his friend really minded that...
Highly poisonous? She tilted her head and tucked that little, useful tidbit of information away in the back of her mind. It could be helpful later so she would remember that, "Yes, the meat is good thanks." She said, tail giving a bit of a swish. Hinder wasn't to bad she supposed, add him to that rather short list of dragons that she liked. So far it was Tiamat, the unhatched wyvern that belonged to that Kale kid, and Hinder. Maybe if she tried she could make herself a good little mass of dragon contacts.
Orpheus blinked a couple times, lifting a hand to rub at his eyes under his glasses. He knew that voice, now for his sluggish mind to place it. It took a moment, gears grinded in his head then he aske, "Jayoku?" This was a pleasent surprise, he rather liked the woman and her two kids, "How are you?" Completely oblivious to the fact that she may not be calling for any reason other then a hello. Or maybe to sign one of her two up for another class?

Zyan nodded her head, liking hte idea more and more. Now she couldn't wait until a week had gone past. Then she and him could be alone and away from prying eyes and annoying parents.
"A week from now then. " she confirmed and then tilted her head pondering something. "How long should we...stay away from home? 1 day? 2?" she asked trying to think ahead about food and supplies.
Hinder was glad Baroness had dropped the subject about the gas, pleased that his plot to win the Baroness's favor seemed to be working. His tail swished slowly back and forth his head turning to pay attention to part of their partners conversations. He only caught the tail end of it, a week? what was happening in a week from now?
Jayoku took a sharp intake of breath as she heard him say her name. Yah he remembered her! Well...her phone voice anyway. PLeased she was happy to hear him ask how she was doing.
"I am well, you know busy with the kids, how about yourself? Hopefully classes are taking their toll on you. Getting plenty of rest right?" she asked making plesant conversation with him before reminding herself this was not the reason why she had called.
"Oh..Orpheus, your son is over and unfortunately I am going to have to report a bit of damaged caused between Baroness and ..Keir.." she started not sure how to break the news to him, well in a nice way anyway.

Ter gave a bit of a grin at that, imagine the looks on the parents faces when not only did they leave when they were in trouble but didn't come back for a while. That would show them wouldn't it! Not as if Z and him arranged the fight between the dragons for sport but he was sure it would go down as such.
"At least over night." He said, nodding his head.
Baroness laid down, wings outstretch and tilted at just the right angle to absorb the most sunlight. She followed Hinder's gaze to looking over at Ter and Z. They had that plotting look about them... huh. She wonder what sort of things they were up to now, if nothing else those two were never had a lack of amusing things to do.
"Classes are going as well as can be expected. I like them but some days I do get some of the strangest skills to plan out." He gave a bit of a laugh, "I think that is the up side of the job though, getting to plan out classes." He always came up with some of the stranges things. She would know since her daughter had been the one to murder a bunch of innocent fruit.
He blinked when she said the word 'son' and 'unfortunately'and while it wasn't exactly nice he knew immediently which son she was talking about long before Baroness was mentioned, "Ahh... I see." He said, blinking then got to his feet to go in search of his shoes, "Damage? How bad of damage? Any estimates as I will of course gladly pay for it." He was sure that Baroness had started it, she was starting fights often with Vorel as it was...
