Rossa lazily sat of the rail of the ship and said "Because there is no party. People are just deciding to come aboard my ship. For once in my life I wish I had staied the night at an inn like the rest of my crew..."

"Well if you want no one to come aboard, then set a night watch. But she is a pretty boat."

Bigs looked over at Storm, "So nice to see you again...i mean, I'm Bigs, you don't know me. Aye, she is that a beautyful ship Jessica," he said directing this toward Rossa, "I'll drink to that." He poored two glasses and drank both himself, getting a little carried away with the rum.

Storm started again. Her mind really needed to stop wandering in the midle of converstations. She looked at the man talking to her curiosuly.
"Oh. Uh. Hullo Mr. Bigs. Nice to meet you. I'm sorry, but when did we meet? I'm sure I would've remembered that nose."

Kibo slaps the glasses out of Bigs' hands.
Kibo: Why do you need glasses? It's rum!
He pulls out a bottle, opens it, and tilts a bit of it into his mouth, before returning it to his pack.
Kibo: See? It's not that hard. And if you had stayed the night in an inn, Rossa, I'd have probably taken some gold after I switched the rum.

He looked at Storm curiously, "We haven't met...right...we haven't." He watches Kibo take a huge drink of rum, "Well I was trying to be polite but I guess it doesn't matter now," he said as he pulled out a second bottle and pours some down his throat.

Storm trailed off. Today was just not her day. She looked at Kibo.
"I'm not going insane, right? He really did say that we've met before, correct?"

Kibo discreetly calls a nearby spirit, telling it mentally to convey a message to Storm. The spirit, invisible to normal humans, floats over to Storm, settling right next to her ear, and whispering quietly.
Spirit: Mister Kibo told me to tell you, "That's Sir Tiny. Keep it to yourself."
Kibo turned to Bigs, drawing attention away from Storm while she realized what had just been said.
Kibo: Polite? This is Tortuga, mate!

Storm was still moderetly confused. At least, more confused then usual. Still, she took the hint and stayed quiet.

Storm shrugged and took the bottle from Kibo. She look at Big.
"He's right. We seem to be on a free port island. Law's don't exist here. Without laws, manners go right out the window."

"It's flat, Kibo. You need some stronger stuff."
