Chatho was great- I really liked her.
And I like the Idea of a 3-parter.
Definately RTD's best writing yet.

I still think Blink
and HN / FOB
were the best eps in this series so far.

Shakespeare code was good too.

Chan I agree! tho

Chan I think it's great they're making references to the old stuff- these writers REALLY know what they're doing! tho

I wonder will Martha continue to go with the doctor after this season. I think her mom might get killed and she may blame the Doctor...........but who knows.......this has been a wild season sweatdrop

    I love John Simm
And HOW IS DOCTOR GONNA GET TEH FREAKING TARDIS BACK NOW?!

    Chantho was so cuuttee.

    The Yana thing was smart.
    You are not alone

We hardly know anything about Martha's family do we?
Especially compared with Rose...
we didn't see her mum, sis and brother much did we?
Hopefully we will next season.

I've heard that both Tennant and
Freema have signed for the next seres.

It was obvious that the master was gonna come back yesterday. R T Davies can't think of his own awesome enemies so he useds old ones. First the most famous Daleks, then the cyberman, then the Master. I wouldn't be suprised if next series monsters were the Ice Warriors. Or Davros.
They brought the Master back from the dead, why not him aswell?

When the professor said the future kind was what human will become, it made me think about the weevil fight club epidose of torchwood where the antagonist theorized that weevils are what we will become. maybe the future kind are some type of proto-weevil.

That makes sense, and that was one of the few good torchwood episodes.

If Martha's mom dies, I could live with it- I don't really like her. And I think Martha will stick around for another season or two.
I think that the Doctor's going to get back to the 21st century with Jack's "Time Hopper Thing". Which he won't be happy about.

Lol- yeah!
He'd have to bear the humiliation
of no sports car,
and bounce along with the common folk!

Thats a bit harsh, Who has always relied on re occuring bad guys. Plus there are many questions he has not answered. Given time i'm sure new bad guys will be introduced. Plus the only real threat to the doctor has always been the time lords. It makes sense to use the master.

It also seems to me that a lot of people forget that a major part of the target audience is children. It is a hard line to walk, ballancing the desires of the old fans and creating stories for the new ones. Especially for children.
I think the job they have done is "fantastic" I have been a fan for over 20 years and I still find it fresh and enjoyable.
Yes I figured out that the professor was the Master long before he changed, but it made the build up more tense.
I sat there saying "don't be him!" the whole time. The fact that the professor and the doctor had some really touching moments, and Derick Jacobi, I mean come on. What an actor! His eyes when he became the master...it sent chills down my spine.
Then John Simms's regen madness (it send all timelords a bit loopy, name one stable post regeneration doctor!) I loved it.

Why don't we have a nice chat where i tell you all my plans and you figure out a way to stop me, I don't think!

End of the World...Bye Bye

Lol- that's what's so great about him!
He was always such a pantomine villain!
I think John Simm's gonna make a great Master-
hits just the right note with me.

Indeed, he had an element of David Tennants doctor in him. Kind of a dark reflection of what the doctor could be if he didnt care.
I agree he has the potential to be a fantastic master and a brilliant villain, especially with the little previews in the trailers.

I suppose 2 and 9 don't really count since we didn't get to see their regenerations. xd
In fact the only time lord I've seen regenerate and be "stable" afterwards was K'anpo, the Doctor's mentor freind in "Planet of the Spiders"...he just giggled in a very silly fashion.

Derek Jacobi was brilliant. I absolutely Loved when he leaned over the Doctor and said "No rest for the wicked."
I'm still with-holding my opinion on the return of the Master until I see how they handle him. Better not be another Eric Roberts, what he did to the Master was dreadful. rolleyes ...and now I'm going to stop so as not to go off on my favorite rant...again. rofl
