Ianios nodded, drinking the sake. "Japanese, huh? That's cool." He thought a moment. "It was around 10 for me, I think the same for Aria. I'd have to go through Rynn's journal for that though."
He snickered. "I totally startled Rynn and Aria when I came out. It was still kinda early morning and I popped out of my leaf. I noticed Aria first and pounced her. It was so funny..." he laughed, recalling that day. "Rynn got onto me though."

Jhiri chuckled. "I can imagine it would be more startling the first time. At least Rynn...I'm guessing that's your guardian?...at least had that little bit of experience with Aria before? I'm afraid I'll have heart failure when this bloom emerges."

Ianios nodded. "She did. But she wasn't awake when I popped out and wasn't home when Aria did. But that was fine. Aria told me she had a grand time swimming. She's water and I'm plant." He laughed again, all nice and warm and fuzzy feeling. "She wants more Feien. Like a fire or something. And maybe air. She dunno." He hiccuped, and grinned at her like a fool. "You're pretty."

Sajhiri smiled gently at the Feien. "Why thank you for the compliment, friend Ianios! I've no idea what this bloom holds in store for me, but if it's resident is half as polite as you are, and I shall be quite content."

Ianios grinned. "Thank you. I try to be at least. Though I know other feien consider me to be dangerous, trouble with wings." He was looser now, freer than he had been in a while. He sighed. "Just, I find someone I like, I like to be with them. But think the others don't like me much..." He ran his hand through his hair, spiking it. He sipped the hot sake, feeling all warm. It made his mouth looser, things he kept to himself slipped out. "I think Shalafi, he's blind you know, even he doesn't like me much. Only one not scared of me is Neruo. I wanna breed with Nero, afraid he'd reject me for asking...." He looked at her. "My sister has a gemstone. She wants to merge with it, but she wants to breed too. I thought about asking her if Nero won't. I wanna breed cause I can, but that's not all. Not the only reason. I love Nero, I love Aria...and Aria has wanted too for a while. But her Nigel has vanished it seems...and she seems lonely..."

Celaien flickered into the tavern, curious about the new place that the other Feien all seemed to be going to. The shop had been somewhat empty as of late, and recon on the noteboard had mentioned a new tavern. He grinned as he recognized a face he hadn't seen in quite a while.
"Ianios! Hi!" he called, grinning and flying down to settle nearby.

Ianios raised his glass to the new feien. "Hey! Come join the party!" he slurred a bit. Oh boy...he loved this sake. He stood up and swayed, out of it. He laughed, noticing the room starting to move. "Oh wow....moving room!!"

Celaien blinked as Ianios started to sway. "Woah, careful there, Ian," he said concernedly, stepping forward to grab his arm to steady him. "You alright, man?" He *seemed* to be in a good mood, but... that drink smelled kind of funny. He looked him over. "What *is* that stuff, Ian?"

Ianios grinned. "Sake, man you gotta try it!" He held out his cup to Celaien. He was grinning like a madman. "Here's another feien I'd breed with!" Now, if he meant that sober, who knew? Ian dropped his arm over Celaien's shoulders. "We're pals, aren't we? I don't scared ya, do I?" He was half serious, but mostly drunk.

Celaien sweated a bit. sweatdrop "Well, yeah, we're pals... um... Sake, you said? I might have heard something from Tsuki about it..." It was a most interesting question to attempt to answer. So the next best thing? Change topics, of course. "I dunno if Cele would want me to try any, but... I guess a little wouldn't hurt." He made sure Ian was well propped against him before taking the cup in his hands and drinking a swallow or two.

Ianios still had his arm around Celaien and grinned. "Aye, good drink it is!" He grinned. "Round of sake!" he cried, hiccuping. It was going to be a good night....if he didn't pass out first.

Personally, Celaien didn't see what Ian saw in sake. It was very bitter to him. But he liked the warmth of it. Carefully he took another drink of it. It was starting to make his stomach feel nice and warm, so he figured that was enough for him. He handed the cup back to Ianios. "Come on, let's find you somewhere to sit, before we both fall over," he said, half laughing at the idea. He wasn't sure if it'd have the same effect on him as it did Ian, but just to be safe...
{{ i figure since alcohol is bitter because of the planty chemicals or whatever, Ian wouldn't notice it. ... *is* sake bitter? *is going purely on speculation here* }}

Jhiri cleaned glasses behind the bar in between doling out the round of sake and keeping an eye on the pair of Feien. Ianios was showing signs of inebriation so she was on the alert for any need to cut him off. She hummed to herself as she worked.
((Gotta grab a shower, back in 30 or so. Never actually tasted sake but I'd guess it's bitter))

Ianios nodded, all warm, tingly, and very drunk. He sorta plopped himself down on the counter, grinning, though his eyes seemed unfocused. "I like you." He said, downing the cup. He hiccuped, grinning. "So...am I scary? Cause I like trouble? Everyone else thinks so." He was loose now.

"I don't think you're scary," Celaien replied honestly. "C'mon, let's get you to a proper seat..." He half-pulled Ian off the counter, figuring the barkeep wouldn't much like him sitting there, and pulled him over to one of the chairs by the unlit hearth. He sat in one, pulling Ian into his lap so he could make sure he didn't fall over or anything. The green feien seemed rather unsteady from the amount of sake he'd had.
