with most religions, its understandable to be hetrosexual for your religion. however, they take it too far by attempting to force their ideas on everyone else.

maybe there is an ulterior motive to being anti-gay in the church.
all churches want big sunday schools and big families because they bring in money and also represent the future membership.
gay couples have fewer kids.
could that be a factor?

It really doesn't, but it does affect my view of other religions. It creates some resentment towards Christainity, as I'm really not sure. (I'm attracted to the mind, so gender makes little difference to me..)

Leviticus 18:22 "thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination." the people might not know the passage, but preists most likely do. and people do what preists tell them to.

I was straight, then I was bi, and now I'm straight once more. Although It's a bad thing to do, *sigh*, The main reason I became straight again is 'cus no one where I live tolerates the change of the sexuality. I no it should be no excuse, but it is. Anyway I don't think I'll go back, Although I was attracted to a few girls and went out with them, I like being straight better. My opinion. It doesn't really affect my religion. And again, in my opinion and from my own expiriences, I would have to say that Christians are the most anti-difference when it comes to this, and most other things. But I hawrt all you guys anyway sweatdrop

Now, I am a little bit familiar with christianity, and this is something I just probably will never understand. First off, note that Leviticus is in the Old Testament (OT), secondly, note that the coming of the lord (jesus) abolished most, if not all OT laws; lastly, note that being a christian means you believe that jesus already came... So, if jesus already came, and abolished most, if not all of OT law, why then is Levitican law, in part, if not in full, still practiced? If any christian is willing to explain this to me, I would love to hear it.

GameAngel64 My perceived definition of the word "pansexual": A pansexual is someone whose love/sexual desire is not determined or influenced by the particular genitals someone has (i.e. gender), maybe not even the physical body. A pansexual loves/is aroused solely by the personality of the person. Pansexuality transcends the physical, what can physically be seen, and the physical gender of a person. Gender does not play a role in 'attraction,' nor do physical characteristics (gender) inspire sexual desire. It's not the same as someone who is bisexual because a bisexual is just capable of finding either a man or a woman's body "sexy." Sorry if that was not explained well O_o there's a different word for that... though I forgot what it is... a pansexual is someone who enjoys "strange" kinds or forms of sex... masochists, sadists, *****, necrophiliacs, zoophiles, polygamists, homosexuals, etc. are all pansexual. Pan most likely stems from the greek god pan, the satyr, who was always going after those pretty little nymphs. Also note nymph as the root word for nymphomaniac
