Where should i put a Textures thread? MA said they were progressive thrash/ death metal. I cant figure out which one they belong in more.

Dunno man, I know they are considered metalcore by many people, but also post-trash as well as melodic death influenced (which I do not deny), so... I suppose I go for the classic sound in this case, so that's prolly why I cannot relate them directly to trash nor the old melodic death... I guess genres are not so clear after all...

Well, I haven't listened to them in a while but, the Post-thrash (Which is still thrash) is the base and the other stuff is added into it. I too prefer older sounding Thrash but, I do still like Post-Thrash.
