Pein has taken down the whole Rain Country by taking down it's leader, which not even the Sannin could do without a fight.
Pein has ended the civil war in the country because he defeated the leader of Amegakure some time ago.
Also, he seems to have Akatsuki members in some kind of pod stasis thing.

I think I know Pein's power! If you look at his clone thing, it's like a mirror image of Deidara! Maybe he can transfer his soul into copies of all the Akatsuki and control their abilities!
On another note, Pein and Konan both seem to have been in a team with Jiraiya as sensei!

i saw that. I think this gives a little bit more evidence that pein was once in leaf or connected to it at some point which could mean he's naruto's brother.

My money at the moment is on a possible Yondaime's brother. If he was Jiraiya's student then he must have been in the same team as Minato.
And yeah, I'm pretty sure that Jiraiya and Tsunade are going to die in the near future.
And I'm still certain that Tobi is Obito. One thing I don't understand though. Did Sasuke kill Itachi or did they just meet or what?
And here's another big mystery: We've yet to see Zetsu fight. What can he do apart from eat bodies and go recon?

well there are theories that pein is juugo's brother but i don't think so. but your theory is interesting. it would be around the same age huh. maybe.
anyway though sasuke didn't kill itachi. he's going to the leaf to kill him. that was just itachi's clone. itachi and sasuke are going to have a duel. and madara is waiting to see how sasuke grows. hmmm. another orochimaru huh. but my guess still says its obito.
and zetsu. I think he can spy on people. thats his purpose. anything other then that i dont know.

Pein is obviously in some relation to Jiraiya, whether he was part of the Genin team or not is debatable. I highly doubt Pein is Minato, as Minato did not want his son to die and Pein is of Amegakure.
As him being a relative of Naruto, that may be more feasible.
Though, you never know. It looks like Pein has the ability to animate different bodies, so he could in theory be able to reanimate Minato's body, or something like that.
Zetsu is also able to morph and merge with plants, useful for spying.
It is still unknown if Tobi is Obito, which is highly unlikely. We do know he has Madara's power, who was the founder of the Uchiha clan. And he was able summon a Bijuu, like Kyuubi.

ok, new manga out. your thoughts.
now we know pein is truly Nagato. and we know who konan really is now but how did she change into her being. is it truly nagato's fault. such a sweet girl. and what about that other guy. where did he go. was he the kage until nagato beat him?
now the chances of nagato being brothers with naruto is starting to be proving false but it still could be possible. all this chapter did was leave us hanging with more questions.
TELL US ABOUT KUSHINA!!!! scream

Seriously when I saw that loud mouthed kid speaking to Jiraiya, I thought that was Pein.
But when they cut to that black haired emo looking kid with the rings in his eyes, I was like 'Pein?'

Lol, the Rin'Negan sounds bad a**. I can't wait for it to be made into a bloodline for the guild. Once we know more about it at least.
