No comparison. Smallville is a better show and Kyle XY copied it, doing a poorly job. Clark is WAY hotter no doubt about that.

Idk, a teenager that doesn't know where he came from and finds out that he has superhuman ablilities. wikipedia He is able to jump off a building unharmed and swim at an Olympic level speed. His reflexes seem superhuman, allowing him to dodge a bully's punch effortlessly. He can jump much higher than a normal human and uses his advanced knowledge of physics to have a type of paranormal aim, which also allows him to excel at basketball. At the end of season 1, Kyle discovered that he could drown out particular noises, giving him an acute sense of hearing. Idk, a lot of this sounds like smallville to me. Sure, Clark doesn't have all of these powers, but we have seen stuff close to them one time or another on smallville.

In a couple of ways. Kyle XY to me will never be as good as Smallville. Kyle XY kind of copied the whole 'falling out of the sky' thing. rolleyes
I mean the poll says it all. Smallville is a better show... That's just my opinion I'm intitled to.

Frankly both SV and Kyle XY make use of fairly common and similar tropes; it doesn't mean that one is a rip-off of the other. SV for example takes a lot of ideas and storylines from other media -- Buffy most notably, which it's patterned after, but also the Superman films.
...And some of these, er, "homages" almost cross the line from [often poorly-executed] pastiche into flagrant rip-off. So, even if Kyle XY did copy SV, we're not exactly in a position to complain about it.

Smallville is a better show... That's just my opinion I'm intitled to. And Smallville to me could never be as good as Buffy. I don't see how that has to do with KyleXy copying Smallville. Anways, I agree with foetus about what she said. This is The Smallville Guild. The results would be somewhat different in a KyleXy Guild. That is why this poll favors Smallville.

I don't like the show, Kyle XY. It's too much of a teen drama, and the plots are too random (although Smallville is like that in its Freak-of-the-Week season). Kyle is better looking than Clark, but neither of them can really act IMO. wink
