Divash
Mmm, latkes. I like to make a half-batch with sweet potatoes, in addition to the regular batch.
Make em all Cajun like? Haha. A Creole Jew, that would be fun!

I've had Creole/Sephardic Fusion Cuisine once...

only once...

Last time I got that much gas, I got set of 4 NASCAR drinking glasses from Amaco.

I'm more a baba ganoush man myself.

I just don't like garbonzo beans.

Anyone got a good vegetarian recipe, that doesn't have any soy in it? I can't eat meat, and my friends can't eat soy. x_x

Edit: Oh s**t. It's the sabbath. Sorriez for posting.

Look into the wonderful world of the Falafel. Fried chickpea balls, served in a pita with salad greens and a herbed cucumber & yogurt sauce.

Otherwise, just get some pita chips, Humus, Tabouli, Baba Ganoush and a tank load of vegetarian indian food.

I find falafel gag worthy, but humus I can do. Last Chanukah I tried making it from scratch and failed miserably. It was sticky instead of creamy and stunk to high heavens. Someone else will be bringing it this year. biggrin

Falafel made from fresh ingredients can be amazingly delicious -- crispy on the outside, soft and moist inside, fresh herb aroma and flavors. Falafel from a box of dried things will be disappointing, if not outright disastrous.

You can also use it for spackle if you need to fix a cracked drywall or plasterboard.
