"Well when you put it that way... it sounds nice, but... they just... they pick on me!" Sevilin pouted like the world was against him. "It's jes all quiet and then BAM! and I'm all AHH! I dunno..."
We`rika was doubled over laughing, almost causing him to spin upside down. It only heightened when his friend found the floor not so gracefully. Of course, the Huichol forgot to straighten himself and hit the floor face first to his own embarrassed dismay. "Yer righ'.... I dun like this thing either..." He exited the chamber with a vengeful sneer and met back with the two Raevans. He was about to say something to Sevilin when an announcement over the intercom called attention to the start of the start show in a few minutes.
It didn't take them long to find the theater, especially with the two Freis literally racing to the doors. Once We`rika caught up with the his charge, he showed the usher at the doors their receipt for the Galaxy package and followed Sevilin in. The room was circular with rows of seating. The weird thing was all the chairs were leaning back and there was no screen to speak of. He waited for Aphismet and Rivener to pick the best seats since they all looked the same to him.

Rivener chuckled. "They don't pick on you, come on. You just have to relax, you are too wound up and a sudden burst like that scares you too much. If you relax, it won't be so bad." As he finished speaking, the guardians finally exited the antigravity room. No more than a minute later, the intercom announced the start of the show! Oh no, would all the good places be taken?!
"Come on, hurry up!" Rivener called to Aphi as he rushed towards the theatre, Sevilin close behind.
Aphismet was still recovering from the queasy feeling, but he hurried forward along with Werika. He offered his tickets to the usher just as the Huichol had done, and once inside he walked to a seat near the side of the room. Rivener had already picked them out and was making sure no one else would take their chairs; he was declaring "these seats are taken" to any wide-eyed, startled person who came close. (They'd never seen a floating torso, let alone a pair, before.)
"Riv always picks the best seats," Aph informed Werika. "From the edges here we can see the whole ceiling without having to lean back too much." He smiled pleasantly, now that the side-effects of the room were finally wearing off.

Sevilin nodded and tried to be brave, stiffening his upper lip but he couldn't help eye the menacing ceiling warily. Sevilin took a seat, sort of, beside Rivener not exactly laying down as he twirled around like a top watching all the people flood in.
We`rika sat beside Aphismet just in case he needed someone's arms to jump into. He was a few seats away from Sevilin, but he knew the little Frei would be fine. He was a big boy.
Eventually the lights began to fade and the doors closed. Sevilin whined. He began to sink lower in his chair trying to relax. Something began to pop and fizzle on the overhead screen. The watery Raevan's hands were all but cemented to the armrests. And then he waited. Everyone was quiet with the exception of a few whispers and giggles and coughs. Maybe Rivener was just pulling his chain. Leaning towards his friend, Sevilin began to whisper. "Uhmm Riv--Yaah!" The screen was illuminated by a white light that exploded like a firecracker. Sevilin squealed like a dozen of the other unsuspecting girls in the audience and hid his face on Rivener's arm.

Aphismet always startled slightly at the Big Bang, even if he knew it was coming. He'd jump in his seat and inhale sharply. Really it wasn't so much the explosion that startled him, it was the sudden screams from the room. Having Sevilin yelp out right beside him was making it worse than usual, and Aph reflexively jumped away from him, bumping his shoulder against Werika's. He looked over sheepishly and grinned like a moron. "Sorry," he whispered.
Rivener had been grinning expectantly, and when the explosion came and Sev exclaimed, the Scorpion Frei burst out laughing. He reached over and petted the blue haired head, whispering: "It's over now, you can look again. There won't be any more explosions."
The voice over began. It explained the big bang, the settling of matter, and then the forming of the planets. On the ceiling, the lights swirled into tight balls of color, making planets and suns and stars... Then came the explanation of constellations, the ceiling imitating the night sky that would be seen at night if you looked up from Earth. This was Riv's favorite, and although he knew it all by heart, he still watched enraptured. This was the only time anyone could ever see an expression of awestruck childlike wonder on his usually smoldering features.

Aphismet wasn't the only one. As the sudden burst opened the show, the Huichol jumped in his chair, and in embarrassment, sinked back into his chair with a moody glower on his face. His brown eyes looked over to his friend and laughed to see Aphismet jumping too. We`rika leaned over to him, toothy grin and all, and pressed his forehead against Aphismet's so he could be heard over the announcer. "S'ookay..." The shaman whipped back into his chair, not wanting to miss anything.
Sevilin's big wary blue eyes darted back and forth as he peered over the poisonous Frei's arm, making sure the coast was clear. He pulled his head away with a little frown attached to his round face. ".... Okay," The watery Raevan sat back in his chair, rubbing the armrests anxiously. But once the stars began to appear on the overhead screen, blue lines connecting them into strange shapes, his tension melted away. Some of them he recognized from TV shows about the Greek culture, but the ones We`rika always told him about weren't here. Except the constant flame which the voice over called the North Star.
The small Frei kept looking over at Rivener, surprised to see him so enraptured. He wanted to tell the Raevan about the constellations We`rika knew, but he didn't want to interrupt him since he was having such a wonderful time. He decided to talk softly so that if his friend wanted to ignore him, he could do so easily. "You know..... there's uhmm... a deer one. Like a constellation. It helps guide people on their pilgrimages every year... yeeah,"

Aphismet blushed and wondered why the strange Huichol would need to press their foreheads together, but he didn't ask. After all, it might be some cultural thing that Aphi didn't know about... He just laughed uneasily and turned back to watch the ceiling.
Rivener frowned as Sevilin started to talk, and he was about to SHHH! him sternly, but then the blue Frei mentioned new constellations. Ones that Rivener hadn't heard of! Glancing sideways for a moment, but still careful not to miss anything happening on the ceiling, Riv lifted a skeptical eyebrow.
"Yeah right. You know more constellations? These are all the ones that science has found... How would you learn more?" He didn't want to believe that someone else knew more stuff about stars than he did, but another part of him just wanted to absorb every little bit of information about the glittery sky-jewels that he could get his hands on. He was too prideful to outright ask for an explanation, but he DID want to know... He'd have to ask sneakily.

Sevilin looked up at Rivener warily. The poisonous Frei could be intimidating when he wanted. Sevilin's cherry-lips tightened into a nervous pout before he continued to speak. "Uhmm... I dunno... Uhmm uhh We`rika tells me things, you know, like about the stars and legends about his people," Or what he guessed was his people, his guardian never gave them a name and seemed reluctant to talk about it unless he pushed. "And uhmm what the voice called the uhh North Star, We`rika calls it this constant flame that governs everything...." He decided not to take up anymore of Rivener's time and sat back in his chair tight-mouthed.

Rivener snorted. "So he just gives different names to the ones that are already there, then? Or are they all new star-pictures?" He tried to sound condescending, and succeeded at first... but then he finished his question simply sounding curious.
The Frei grinned momentarily as the nebulas came into view on the ceiling. How he enjoyed the sparkling bursts of color. They were gorgeous. People thought the night sky was just black and white, but really it was a million different shades of things! He found himself in a good mood again. "Maybe sometime you could show me all those stars Werika tells you about," he said without thinking.

Sevilin wrinkled his nose and looked down, thinking. "I'm... I'm not sure actually. Some of them are the same like the uhmm.... uhh Ursa major? Thas still a bear, but the dear and there's a hunter and a cactus," The little Frei stopped to laugh, "I cracked up when We`rika said one of the constellations was a cactus! How all-powerful, huh? Haha..."
"That would be fun!" Sevilin piped up cheerfully. "We`rika is too much of a stick in the mud to come, but I could show you!... Sometime..." When he saw Rivener's attention elsewhere, the watery Raevan looked up and watched what looked like brilliantly colored clouds frozen in space. "Pretty..." He said absently before it flashed to the orbits of the planets. Now this was his favorite stuff. "I wish I could go to the other planets like Saturn or Jupiter, or Europa! Did you know on Europa they think there is an ocean under the icy surface? Isn't that cool?! It would be soo much fun to swim there, haha! It'd be really cold, though!"
We`rika could hear Sevilin all the way over by his seat. "Poor Rivener, he's gonna have his ear talked off..."

Rivener frowned. Now Sevilin WAS talking too much. Imperatively, Riv raised a hand and hissed "SHHHH!", willing the other to shut up. They could talk about planets and icy oceans (shudder) later, but now they had to look at the ceiling. "Shaddap and look at the colors, alright?! Talk later."
Aphismet chuckled, albeit a little nervously. "I wouldn't worry about Riv. He won't stand for things that don't suit him... He'll either order Sev to stop, force him to stop, or he'll get up and float to another seat or something... At any rate, Rivener hardly ever ends up stuck with anything. He'll be fine. I, er... I hope your Sev's feelings aren't easily hurt though. Rivener hasn't yet developed common courtesies."

The Huichol leaned over to watch Rivener shush the s**t out of Sevilin. It was pretty amusing. "Naw, Sev'lin never really gets in a funk. Like if ya yell a' him, he'lla give ya these big crushed puppy dog eyes and then two seconds later, he completely forgets he was sad and moves on... Is weird..."
The little Frei snapped his mouth shut as a pitiful pout formed across his cherry lips. He looked quite pathetic, what with his big eyes growing to the size of saucers, and that's exactly what he wanted. It turned We`rika into mush and knew it had a similar effect on all conscience-clutching things. But as his guardian could have predicted, a comet whizzed across the screen and Sevilin's short attention span moved to the shiny screen and quickly ooooed and ahhhed.

Aphismet nodded in understanding, although he was still worried that Rivener might say or do something a little too rash. Hopefully as Werika said, Sevilin's feelings wouldn't be hurt. "Lucky you," he added. "Rivener's the opposite. If you make one wrong step with him he'll hold a grudge for as long as he lives, and won't get outright mad, but he'll make your life miserable."
Rivener simply watched the show, thankful for the silence.
~~~
Nearly twenty minutes later, the star show was over. Rivener floated out of the room with a giant smile on his face, and he turned to Sev. "Ok, NOW you can talk." He grinned.
Aphismet smiled at Werika. "This was really fun! Rivener and Sevilin seem to be getting along well... Would you like to do this again sometime?"
"Yeah is pretty nice to have everythin' roll off his shoulders. I hold enough grudges fer th'both of us. I'vea only seen him carry a mood a few times, mostly when I firs' go' him since he was so unfamiliar with me, bu' we work pretty well together..." The Huichol shrugged, a little embarrassed talking about it. When the lights came back on, We`rika scrunched his nose in distaste and stood up, waiting for the others.
---
It was like someone had pushed pause because as abruptly as Sevilin had stopped talking, he started back in the exact same spot. "I'd like ta go to Jupiter too! And be caught in one of the storms! OH! Like the Big Red Spot! That would be sooo cool! I heard the storm has been raging for a loooong time and like there's thunder and 300 mile winds! Wouldn't that be crazy? Course we'd have to go in a balloon or something cause there is no solid ground and we would just sink until we were crushed by gravity haha! What's yer favorite planet?" He cozied up to Rivener innocently, watching him with his big eyes for a reply.
We`rika faltered a step as Aphismet asked. Was this fun? Not drinking or molesting drunken women? Just hanging out. ".... Yeah, I guess I would. And Sev'lin will wan' too.... I did have a fun time surprisin'ly," Before he could say much more, Sevilin came back into focus. "Oh my Gooood..." The shaman moaned as he listened to Sevilin drawl on and on. "Maybe he should spend th'nigh' with ya two ta ge' this all ou' of his system. Seriously, when he gets like this I jes wan' ta jab myself in the eye!"
Aphismet laughed at the zealous chatter coming out of the watery Frei. He supposed good luck in one area meant bad in another... At least Rivener was, for the most part, a quiet Raevan. "Oh, it's not so bad, he's just chattering. He'll run out of things to say sometime, right? Besides, it's fun to talk about random things with kids." He smiled as he watched the two Raevans.
Rivener made a face at Sevilin. How could someone want to say so much stuff in one go? "Planet? Err.... Mars, cause it's red, I guess. Besides, I don't wanna go to other planets covered in storms or iced oceans. I'm just fine where I am now, thank you very much." He subtly inched away when he noticed the other had been sneakily getting closer and closer until Sev was practically within his personal space.
Aphismet smiled. "Yeah it was fun! We should definately do it again. Let's not come here though. Hahah! Perhaps you and Sev could come over some time for a lunch or something? Or if you don't have time, send Sev over for a camp-out in the yard. The two of them can look at stars and whatnot. We can make a campfire and have smores. It'll be fun! You should come too, if you can that is."
