you do realise martial philosophy can include combat psychology and the like yes?
So its not all "be at one with your fellow man and hug all the bunnies" but includes "dont give a ******** if you live or die" and "aggression is an important factor in winning" etc
Can you give some examples?

Wait, what? What is that? Do you mean Hagakure? Because if you do, fine. Good example. Still, it doesn't change my opinion of philosophy in Martial Arts as being silly.

My own philosophy is don't fight unless its necessary. Like if you are under attack or something along those lines. I also feel as martial artists we should fight eachother but only to better our selves as martial artists. The only real way to be any good at fighting is to fight martial arts is the art of controled violence we know how to fight and we control that power.

I do feel that people should respect each other all martial arts teach that it is not right for people to go around killing each other for no reason. As martial artists we are taught to kill people you cant just throw that around like it means nothing we need to know when its right to use those skills.

One who excels as a warrior does not appear formidable.

One who excels in fighting is never aroused in anger.

One who excels in defeating his enemies does not join issues.

One who excels in employing others humbles himself before them.

This is the virtue of non contention matching the sublimity of heaven.
