How you doin my sister, Rose? biggrin Hey Runs, I'm doing alright for now...things were kinda ruffled today but I tried my best to keep calm and my mouth shut for the most part. sweatdrop I'm glad to hear your son is doing better as well as for your husband and mom, sis..keep up the faith and prayer sis..especially for myself if you dont mind.

Hey guys, I have something to tell you:
One of my best buddies, who is a Christian and really wanted to stay virgin until marriage, is going through severe temptations. His girlfriend also calls herself a Christian, but they both have been having trouble fighting sexual immorality since long before they even met each other. Now they have engaged into some sexual practices, and they don't feel it's wrong now.
They have not yet performed the sexual act per se, but what they have done so far is still wrong in God's eyes. They will be alone together in her house next Saturday. I've already told him that he as a Christian, as someone to whom God has put in some ministries, need to remember that his body is no longer his, but Christ's; that he should flee from sexual immorality; that he should be willing to do any sacrifice (even breaking with his girlfriend) for Christ's glory. The only thing he says is: "Well, if we have sex on Saturday, then I'm going to repent and turn myself to the Lord."
Please pray for him to measure the consequences now, and to make God a priority in his life. For God to deliver him out of this temptation, and if it's needed, for that relationship to finish.
Also, what else could I tell him to make him see how he should put God before his girlfriend, and how he needs to walk in holiness? He loves God, but he seems to love more his girlfriend than Him. This is really sad, and I wasn't expecting this to happen. So... help?

Ok, so I'm going to murder a few people now and then ask for forgiveness.
Yeah, that works real well.
So many people do this and it's really annoying. It is sin and there is no way they can justify it to others, and the only reason it is justified to them is due to their own delusions and apathy. So many people want to follow the world and not Christ.
I struggle with sexual temptation, and I'm sure over half of the members of this guild do. Guess what? That doesn't mean it's ok to commit sexually immoral acts; it's still sin.

Unless he's willing to be persistant to not give in, I don't think you can convince him. Does he know what he'll do if she becomes pregnant? He must have thought of it, but anything could happen, even with protection.
If he doesn't think that what they've been doing is wrong to God, I doubt he'll really care to stay abstinent in a matter of time. sweatdrop One thing leads to another...

I don't know if he did it or not. I'm afraid to even call him, for the fear of receiving the answer I don't want to hear, but anyways. Whatever happens, only God knows why He allowed it.
This week I'm going to my church's anual family retreat. They say the youth will be having some special participation there (I'm dying to know what will it be about). smile

ah such a tease! our regional sr. camp (youth, not, really old people ^_^) isn't fpr another 20 days (yes, I have a countdown... lol)

I'm praying for you, your friend, and his girlfriend. We've all been there, or will be there. Some make the right choices, others don't. You're friend and his girl friend may have some really tough times ahead, but these things may bring them back to Christ, stronger than ever. God's will be done.
