If he never joined Akatsuki you know there would've been some twist in which he fell in love with Sasori and they ran off together and neigher of them died and they crossed paths with Naruto and joined the Konoha side and kill Sasook =D

NO WAIT THERE'S MORE!! Then Sasook isnt really dead but Deidara never looses his arms and Itachi really kills Sasook for dead and then Sasori and Deidara team up on him and he dies and Kisame jumps in a lake and commits suicide because his lover died and THEN... They lived happily ever after =)
