I recieved a PM from PremiumHeart, today. It was regarding a Charity Ball that shall take place on/near Halloween. I was asked if the Wishing Well would be one of the sponsors, and - in return - we'll be given a fair chunk of gold, to give to some of you guys, perhaps?
Here's the PM(s), so you guys know what I know:
PremiumHeart Spamster PremiumHeart Each year my friends and I do a charity ball for one of the holidays. Last year was our first ball...and we did it at Christmas. This year...we are going to do a Halloween one. And...even though your guild is technically not a charity...we still want you one the list of three charities to be donated to. This is a promotional thing for our Guild to get more members as well. It would also help out your Guild. And I am even going to hook up my friend DLASTBIRD again this year...so his charity at Lucky Devil will also recieve a donation. And would be promo for his guild as well. Last year we did 4 charities...and I was able to pass out 20k to each charity after door prizes were sent out to 150 people. This year we are only doing 3 charities. So hopefully the donation will be more...and it would help with the Quest's at your Guild. So what do ya say? You ok with that? Sounds great.
Anything I can do to help? I have a lot of active members that are, most likely, willing to help in whatever way possible.
3nodding heart heart Well...basically...once we get the ticket selling thread up and going...we will need alot of help with bumping it...and with advertising. Tickets will be 100g each, and people can donate whatever they want, or not donate at all. Either way works. Everyone who buys a ticket though...will get a door prize. All prizes can be for either gender, and will all cost the same. It's the donations that we need the most. The more donations we recieve...the more each charity will get. At the end of the ball...each charity will get whats left over. When I did the Christmas one...I had 100k worth of donations. So we had alot to split up between 4 charities...plus do door prizes+contest prizes. The ball will offer alot though. Some free av edits, av art, blinkies...contest prizes, and door prizes..ect ect. So it won't be boring by any means. Once everyone buys their ticket..they will get a little mini banner that can link to the ticket thread...so if people put that into their siggys...it will help greatly. So if they want to help...when we get it all up and going...we need dedicated bumpers...and mass advertising. Have them get all of their friends to join, and strangers too. The more people we have...the more better the donations will get and the more each charity will recieve. Ok..now im mummbling. I think you get the idea now. lmao. If I think of anything else...I will let you know. ^^ An advertisement about it in your Guild will help tremendously. ^^ I'll let you know when to do that though. heart
Hence, I am proud to announce that the Wishing Well has a new goal! 100K towards the Charity Ball!

Sorry I haven't been very active, lately. The past school week or so (and the next week or so) are really hectic, so I haven't been posting much.

The Wishing Well Suggestions thread was deleted why Spammy? Because we had way too many Sticky's, and that was probably the least important.

i'm going to probably be a little less active for the time being because my modem is broken. i'm using the internet at the library.
the internet at school has a filter that blocks out all fun websites. like gaia.
(but it doesn't have a filter for webcomics. go figure.)
and on another note, i have a 3.95 GPA biggrin go kimi! blaugh heart
i have a 98 in biology cool
