Yagami_Light_01 Raito_Kun Laraeli I have a question. If you experimented with it once, got creeped out, and threw it away, would you not go to heaven/hell? Well if you finished the mangas, you should know that there is no heaven or hell. we go to MU, or Nothingness yeah.. but do you think that this nothingness will make us nothing too? i mean, we would just disappear? maybe we will all die and go to someplace that is between heaven and earth. in the middle of space or something? sweatdrop You mean purgatory? no. there is no purgatory. you become nothing, your enegry gets transfered in to in to the shinigami. have you watched the end yet?

I honestly think that if I got a death note, I would start acting as Kira and probably go insane... I can't see myself getting scared of it, just having major trouble figuring out who to kill first to see if it worked. After I got over the fact that a shinigami would scare me shitless I would be glad to have them following me all the time.

Jade the Hatless Well I think if one of us non-genius people were to get it and use it we wouldn't have lasted that long. Even if we were okay with killing all those people we wouldn't be able to avoid being caught like Light. Light was a genuis who was able to avoid L's traps among other things and he was even able to outsmart him. If I came across the Death Note I wouldn't pick it up. Picking stuff off the street with your hands is bad! 3nodding That's true but it would be hard to find a person such as L in that position. It would take a team of people to get to his level and even then, if you're careful it's all but impossible to find someone with no connection to any killing.

Yagami_Light_01 laptopfroze What if an extremely EMO emo person got ahold of it. It would be the end of the world because they think no one in the world has the right to live and stuff. you got a point there,.. it seems scary in a way..

I think... the death note is a very dangerous tool. It's much more dangerous than a loaded gun. It's too easy. It's too neat and a person can use it without fear of being caught. People found out what Kira was doing because Light wanted them to find out. He wanted it to be obvious what was going on.
If I had a death note I doubt the Shimigami attached to it would find me very interesting.

i think i wouldn't be able to control the DN.If kira was any indication of what was to happen,I probably wouldn't last a month.I would either get caught,or lose my mind.

Okay, I've thought about this.
If I had a Death Note, I would kill killers that haven't been caught, simply so I wouldn't lose ownership of it. I'd want Ryuk to be my shinigami, because we could have LOADS of fun. I'd introduce him to apple pie, apple juice, apple cider, and buy him loads of apples. In return, he'd have to always be 2nd player when we played video games :3

Not only would I not be ABLE to keep the Death Note without being caught, I wouldn't WANT to. Why? Because I have a pretty right/wrong conscience--even knowing I was only killing criminals, I would feel guilty. What if the convicted criminal was innocent? What if he/she had a family? Not to mention all the innocents I'd have to exploit/kill to keep hold of my Death Note. I just wouldn't be able to morally handle the guilt. I'm not saying I'm above evil, I'm just saying that I would feel too guilty to use it. I'd probably end up killing myself or trying to burn it afterward.
If I was able to do it, I'd kill criminals, especially ones that are an immediate threat. I don't know how I would get away with it or even find out the criminal's face/name, but that's what I'd do.

Characters like Light are so clever and cunning it seems almost unreal. If I had the Death Note I wouldnt try to over use it.
I probably wouldnt have the ability to keep it hidden as long as Light did and would prefer to go a little less mad.

I wouldn't hesitate at all. I've had a very messed up childhood and would kill my enemies too. Jerks that bully the innocent and on a larger scale criminals.
