Tamrin sighed. "That first book shouldn't have any of those... Just sound it out..." He said, rubbing his temples, the orb resting in his lap now, grumbling softly as he really wished he was home right now.
He was really, quite done...

She turned the page, staring at it intently before hesitantly beginning. "C. Cat. C-ah-t..." What was teh? Probably came later in the book.

She was imporivng, and that proved it... However, because of his morals, instilled in him by his father, he was forced to wait until she finished that book, and then probably Spot Goes Home...
So Tamrin sat, and waited, not touching the orb in his lap.

She turned the page again, recognizing all these creatures from shapes Raken had made. "D. Dog. D-aw-g...Aw? Then it would be dag...but...that would be d-ah-g...not d-aw-g...."

Opening an eye, he waited. "Anything else?"

"Weird!" She exclaimed, turning the page again. Her eyes sparkled with delight, obviously thrilled to be learning. "E. Egg. Eh-g." Adora looked at tamrin, grinning. "Is this right so far?"

"Yes," Tamrin said, the tone of his voice letting her know that he wasn't really listening... Not really anyway.
Shaking his head slowly he sighed. "Look, I have to head home and make dinner soon... So..."
He stood up. "Why don't you take these books home and practice..."

Instantly the smile died, her green eyes focusing on his yellow. "You're...leaving me?" An almost...dejected voice as her eyes fell down to her pale feet

Oi... Tamrin sighed. "Yes, I have to go home and eat... I can't take you home with me..." He wanted to leave, but at the same time he was required by his father's morals (which he was really debating on tossing out the window at this point) to at least make sure she wasn't bawling her eyes out when he left.
"I'm sure you'll do fine learning on your own, it's not like I really could help you..."

She lifted a hand to gently grip her opposite arm, now looking to the side. Every trace of her happy, bouncy personality gone. "Just...morale support..."

"Look, I'm not good at that, never have been, never will be, go find somebody else, I'm not a cheerleader..." Tamrin grumbled, and turned towards the door. "Look, just practice... And then you'll be good..." When he hit the doorway he looked over his shoulder. "Tamrin, that's my name..." He shook his head. "Now I'm going to go home, I suggest you do the same..." With that, Tarmin headed out into the hall.

"Tamrin..." She smiled. She'd be alright with that. "Bye tamy!" Adora grinned and settled down into the chair. What he didn't know...was that she was home all along. She lived in HQ.
