Reiku walked into the bay and climb into his LFO. " Hey quinn do a system check on gun slot b109 and e405 I think Kayako dumbed some kinda of drink in it cause I smelled smoke when I came into the bay. " He laughed and closed the link and stared out towards the gray floor.

Quinn, of course, was not paying attention to Reiku. He had turned up the air conditioner inside the bridge to freezing cold and donned his coat. In the closet somewhere, he had found a mop, which he quickly fashioned into a spear-like harpoon thing, and as he marched around a little igloo he had made behind the pilot's chair, he broke out into song.

Well, everybody's building the big ships and the boats, some are building monuments, others jotting down notes. Everybody's in despair, every girl and boy, but when Quinn the Eskimo gets here, everybody's gonna jump for joy!

Come all without, come all within. You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn. Come all without, come all within. You've never seen nothin' like the mighty Quinn!

I like to do just like the rest. I like my sugar sweet, but guarding fumes and making haste, it ain't my cup of meat. Everybody's 'neath the trees, feeding pigeons on a limb, but when Quinn the Eskimo gets here, all the pigeons gonna run to him!

Come all without, come all within. You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn. Come all without, come all within. You've never seen nothin' like the might Quinn!

A cat's meow and a cow's moo, I can recite 'em all. Just tell me where it hurts ya, honey, and I'll tell you who to call. Nobody can get no sleep; there's someone on everyone's toes, but when Quinn the Eskimo gets here, everybody's gonna wanna doze!

Come all without, come all within. You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn. Come all without, come all within. You've never seen nothin' like the mighty Quinn!

He then, after playing it like a guitar, threw his harpoon through the igloo and struck a flamboyant pose.

"Hey Nic," he managed to catch her before she left. Dominic lied there on the bench that was installed in his cell facing up with one arm under his head while the other held up the lasted issue of Ray=Out she had given him. "Why did you give this to me?" His voice was had a monotone to it. "Do you take me as a blissful soldier fighting for his country, do I appeal that way to you?"

Nic turned back around ad stared at Dominic for a second thinking of what she would tell him. "I have no idea what you are like or about, I just wanted to give you something to amuse yourself. since your kind of stuck in here so Kayako won't kill you among other things..." Nic said watching Dominic.

As soon as the Ragnarok landed in the town, Daisuke felt the ship to go and look for parts. As he walked through the town he had the wierdest feeling. He felt that he had been in town before but he couldn't remember it.

The truth was that Dai had actually been to this town before. He had been here a few years ago when he was still with the military. It was actually the first mission of his team, the Storm Knights. Since it was the teams first mission they gave them something relatively easy or atleast something easy for an elite LFO team. Their mission was to investigate the rumors of an illegal arms market and if the rumors were true they were to bring down the market and take the arms dealer or dealers into custody. Dai was the person sent in undercover to confirm or deny the rumors. Of course the rumors were true and Dai signaled the team and he was the one to actually place the dealer under arrest. The reason he didn't remember the mission was because it occured so long ago and Dai had repressed many of his memories with his team.

It wasn't too long until one of the town's residents showed Dai to what appeared to be an abandoned warehouse from the outside. The resident told Dai inside the warehouse was an arms dealer that he would probably have any parts he wanted. Dai banged on the door and one of the dealer's 'associates' open the door and let Dai in, afterwards he went off to inform the dealer that someone wanted to do business.

Daisuke was happy that he actually managed to find someone with parts that he was looking for. He heard footsteps but he was too focused on locating more parts that he didn't turn around.

The dealer walked up and smirked. "So you like what you see?"

"Yeah. I'm looking for some parts and I want to know if you have them."

"Well, tell me what you want and I'll let you know if we got'em in stock."

Dai took in a deep breath while he thought about what he wanted. "I want a rapid-fire laser gun, an LFO laser rifle. I want the best FCS, Power Cylinders, Power Boosters that you have."

"So you know exactly what you want, huh?"

"Yeah, and don't try to cheat me on the quality or the price."

The dealer let out a small laugh. "Of course I wouldn't." The dealer whistled and signal and walked over to his thugs, or business associates as they liked to be called. He told them to get the truck and some trailers and exactly what to load up. He began to supervise his associates, or atleast that is what he would have called it.

All the while Dai had his back turned so the dealer had yet to recognize who he was. However this was about to change because Dai was now walking up to the dealer. "Alright so how much?"

The dealer turned around and as soon as he saw Daisuke's face, he remembered him as the soldier that arrested him. "YOU!!!! You're the soldier that got me arrested!!!" He was yelling at the top of his lungs. His face was red and his eyes were bloodshot.

Dai was shocked at first, mainly because he had no idea who this guy was. He rose his hands to show that he didn't want any trouble. "Wait a second, you must have me confused with someone el...." Just then Dai remembered the face of the dealer. "Oh $%@$" He lowered his head briefly then sighed. "Hold on, I'm not with the military any more. As a matter of fact I probably hate them more than you do. I'm even buying this stuff so I can fight against them."

The dealer didn't care about a single word that came out of Dai's mouth. "Boy's get'em." His thugs had already finished loading the truck's trailers and as soon as their boss signaled them they smirked and cracked their knuckles. The thugs slowly surrounded Daisuke trying to intimadate him. The boss stood back watching before yelling once more. "Because of you my girlfriend left me. I hate you more than I hate the military."

Dai still had his hands up but couldn't help but laugh a bit after hearing the arm's dealer. "Come on, now boys. Can't we all just get along?" He then began to smirk.

Screams of agony and gunshots could be heard from the warehouse. Some people thought that they even heard an explosion or crash of some kind. While these sounds could be heard clear across town none of the residents tried or even wanted to get involved.

Shortly after the commotion a truck with several trailers rolled up to the ramp of the Ragnarok. It slowly drove up the ramp into the hangar where it came to a stop. Once the engine had been shut off the driver's door open and someone jumped out. It was none other than Dai, as if anyone doubted the survival skills of the fomer elite military pilot. Although he didn't escape unscaved he put 'Do Not Touch' signs all over the truck with his name signed on every sign. Dai then walked out of the hangar and to his room so he could take some time to rest and heal a bit before working on installing the new parts and weapons.

Well this was certainly unexpected. Someone on this ship is level headed. He did not change in his position only looked at her with arched eyebrows. Dominic thought about this for a moment, about how this should be approached. "Thank you. But I don't suppose that you would have a coin on hand? There's one by one of the crates, but you'd probably suspect it of something, or just not feel like getting it. Whatever you might think."

"Your welcome..." I think... she thought to her self. Then blinking at Dominics request "Is having a coin important to you?" Nic asked in curiosity. Crouching down so she wouldn't have to bend over and stare down at Dominic.

Anything involving words in this answer would undoubtedly come out as an insult, this meant that he would have to show her. The hand that was used to hold the magazine over his head opened & allowed the magazine to plop down on his chest. The hand itself stayed but was not still; it shook severely. "If I were to aim at your head with a gun a point blank range right now, there'd be a pretty good chance of you still being alive."

Nic just shook her head with her eyes smiling and closed the cell door. She had no idea weather to be happy as to what he said or scared of it. She took her time walking to the hanger and looking for the coin near the crates. "Ah there it is..." she said pocketing the coin. As she was walking back she was playing with the coin in her pocket she watch the lights on the cieling. Once back at the cell she opened the door and pulled the coin out of her pocket. And looked at him while kneeling down "This what you were talking about?"

All the while she had been gone he had still been looking at where she stood & waited as he was until her return. "Yes." He sat up & stood. "Yes it is." Quickly he walked past her & stuck his head out the door to make sure no one was there. When he came back he picked her up & hugged her. "Thank you." He took the coin & bowed. It was silver with a fade, the images that had once been on the surface had faded to mere bumps that were almost nonexistent. He placed it in between his right hand's middle & index finger before proceeding to thread it across his fingers.

Gray's current personality-of-the-week(unstable as he was), was still more or less stuck in analogies and metaphores, but....
In fact, "the sun's gate", as he'd become fond of reffering to himself by said metaphore, was preoccupied in his room most of the time. what was he doing?
The answer was shockingly simple: decorating...so to speak.
He'd never even touched his room since day one, leaving it mostly metal and steel. After the initial rush of personality shifting, Gray'd more or less evened out, coming to a decent balance between his timid self and his new self-proclaimed sage version...the result being almost normal.
(truly lucky, to say the least.)
He really didn't care about anything, taken by apathy for the most part, really only caring to cover his room up with things that hid the gray steel walls and such.
More or less, his media of choice seemed to be maps, drawn by himself, usually at odd hours-given that they where oddly detaild and accurate, he suspected the Driver in his body was cuasing some form of communication, or maybe it was Mercury...
At any rate, near-blueprint quality sketches of the LFO also hung from the walls, along with something he'd retrieved from Mercury; a long unused REFF-board he'd oridiginaly stolen from Triga when he fled.
Gray'd also spent a few nights sleepless; wondering repeatedly about himself; not in the morbin, depressed version from before, but in a moore rational fashion called "confusion"-by now, he'd figured out the massive and irratic behavior changes he'd made, and couldn't figure out why.
It stumped him-first he'd run, then he balmed himself and acted depressed, then timid, and now self-assured and given to metaphores?
What was going on in his head, anyway?
He continuosly wondered with a strange, third-party detachment.
Anyway, The walls continued to grow a covering of sketch after sketch-who'd knew he could do this, anyway? Perhaps it was what he used to do, maybe?
Before Triga?
Who knew, Who knew....Before Triga was still resolutely detirmined to stay a cryptic haze.
After a while, he'd noticed his week-long sketching sojourn had produced all sorts of strange and fascinating things-some of which he couldn't recall ever drawing. One notion was to show Medri the blue-print like ones, or maybe tell Kayako....
Nah.
She'd luagh, and he'd just think Gray was more or less making a joke or something like it....
And hearing about someone-a stowaway-being found kissing Kayako had prompted him to vanish into his room or up on top of the Craft; preferably at night..."the sun's gate" had become nocturnal, it would seem.
The new project consisted of join plot for revenge and to present something to kayako...a something that was taking day after day to complete...
So now, he was up on a sheltered walkway on the craft's top, a pencil in hand, making line
after line
after
line.....

"Ack hey..." said when Dominic picked her up, straitining out her clothes she watch him play with the coin. "Never pick me up again and for that matter hug me." she continued to say. Leaning against the doorway she stayed just a little long to watch him and see what he did.

Dominic took in a deep breath & smiled. He enjoyed every second of threading his worn down little coin. It was his own personal oasis in this migraine from hell he was calling life. "Never happened?" He asked knowing he'd either get a "whatever" with attitude or some sort of agreement. "So," his voice seemed different, more calm & maybe a hint of fun in it. "Why're you the one who's taking care of me?"
PostPosted: Fri May 25, 2007 9:19 pm

Nic cocked her head at the question "Well Im least likely to kill you, or it was my job take your pick." she said taking this chance to skip his first question. Crossing her arms she looked over her shoulder quickly to see if anyone was coming. She couldn't help but notice that he was much calmer now, and since no one else was coming she was going to try and find out as much as he would let her.

Dominic took in another deep breath before continuing on. "Well it just doesn't seem right, ya know?" His eyes seemed to scream the word Puck at her while the rest of his face stayed relatively calm with the one small exception of a small smile creeping its way onto his almost calm face. "Considering that since you're the calmest you should probably be doing something more important than taking care of the prisoner, ya know?"
