I'm not sure if he would approve it but I'm 100% sure that he knows it. Naruto/Sasuke is the most popular pairing of Naruto in Japan. And that is a fact, so the chances of him knowing are pretty high, considering all the thousands of doujinshi there are about the paring.
And even if he knows I'm sure he wouldn't care. You see the authors of manga in japan don't care about doujinshi and fanart being Yaoi or Yuri, they love it anyways. In fact they love people making fanart of their anime/manga, it makes them feel proud and also famous. They do not care about people getting money with doujinshi from the anime that belongs to them. They are just happy that the people enjoys their anime in any way possible.
Knowing Kishi's personality, I'm sure that he would just laugh and be happy that people is making fanart of his anime.

Correct...most of all of are you are correct.
If he didn't want SasuNaru at all,
He wouldn't have made them kiss.
If he didn't want any yaoi fangirls he wouldn't
have made Sasuke on top of Sai.
If didn'y want yaoi he wouldn't
have made so many scenes where
Sasuke and Naruto or any other boys
HOLD HANDS!
It's Kishimoto sensei's own fault.

I think that there is no possible way Kishimoto isn't aware of the Sasunaru fan base. And that if he was really against he wouldn't be putting little moments between them throughout the series. In fact I think he's aware the fan base is frickin huge so he puts moments between Sasuke and Naruto to please the fans. blaugh

There's deffinitely more for than against it. Obviously, if he didn't mind the SasuNaru fanbase, he would be doing everything he could do kill it and wouldn't be leaving hits to fuel it. And he is, without a doubt, aware of it, he's said so himself, in more or less words.

I agree with most people.
As for whether he's adding in these little bits as fan service or they really mean something is a whole other question.
I really REALLY hope with all my little heart that sasuke and naruto somehow are together in the end. But sadly I doubt that's going to happen. I think he adds in bits of yaoi as fan service only. crying

I don't know, but I hope he does!
I mean, 60% out of 100% people like the SasuXNaru part.
But if he DOES make them a REAL pair, lot of people might stop watching.

thats a really good question ive been wonder about that to i think i dosnt mind sence he had them kiss on the show and the fact its one of the top couples to look for now.

elloshort I don't think he minds because he put some SasuSai in his manga, when he did the Sexy no Jutsu boy on boy version (He was so close. He needed to put Naruto in Sai's place and OMG that would have been delicious) in chapter 347. exactly! *DROOL*** whee

Tenshi Esti Demona Sylumese I definately think he is fine and dandy with it, and SasuNaru seems a plausible (very plausible) pairing in Naruto... But I dunno if he'd do it. Sure there's been some guy on guy in it, but to actually put them together would be taking a pretty big step, and you never know who might complain (meaning the people who produce his work). The producers might be worried about how many people would stop reading over it (I doubt they have to worry about that though). I agree, gah.. i wish mangaka's with super famous anime would do like little manga's for cannon BL pairings.
then again maybe Kishi can do what the EVA Mangaka done with Kaworu and Shinji, let off hints that you can defently say their one but of course 100 per cent ren-ai fans will go ''but he's not gaaaaay'' still.
their always so blind that its not even funny. -_-;; Of course, he can't put a part of the public aside and do anything that could shock it. Nevertheless, all the hints we're all more than aware about are just like if he opened doors and invited us to come in, pick whoever we want (or Naruto and Sasuke for that matter) and integrate them to our fantasies (aka make yaoi fanart & fanfics) so that we do something he can't. well Kishi did do that SasuSai scene in the manga, so he's obviously not homophobic but this is a Shonen Manga.. so... I don't know if it will end up with a non canon pairing. 3nodding but I hope it does end with Sasuke and Naruto together 4laugh

Well I think he probolly knows about it with all of the yaio,yaio fans and tons of yaio manga.He obviousoy not a homophobe,he made sasuke and naruto kiss,the scence at the valley,at the end of their fight,and he shows alot of the boys holding hands. So I think he dosent mind yaio parings and yaio fans if not hes encourging it why else would this  be here in the manga But why Sasuke and Sai why couldnt Naruto be their in Sai's place.

I mean, it' not like he could stop people from shipping Naruto and Sasuke, but he could quite clearly express his dislike of it, which would probably cut down the shipping population. That is quite indeed right, if he didn't like it he probably could stop them from doing that though. Because it is his characters. But seriously if he didn't like it he'd probably do anything to cut down on the pairing. And besides that point. This new movie coming out. Naruto Shippuden Movie 2: Kizuna I can tell it's going to absolutly RIEK of SasuNaru. Another thing that probably added to the flame. -also I made a topic about it- Is that Shippu Konoha Gakuen Den thingy were they are at school. And right at the end. Sasuke is lying on the ground saying in his head. "You're the only one. Just you, my only..." Then Naruto stretches out his hand saying "Sorry to keep you waiting...Sasuke." And they somehow managed to even kiss in that show. And it was also drawn and everything by Kishi. My friend came rampaging at me on how she got into an argument over that part with Hinata. -she use to arguments....unfortunatly- She was saying how when Hinata ran away Naruto didn't even chase her, and how when she fell on him, he wasn't even blushing and kept his hands practically pinned to the ground while she was there blushing. That's a good question!
I've always wondered to myself, when Kishi is online or something, looking at Naruto's popularity, what he must think when he comes across SasuNaru. I mean, sometimes we make Naru sound like a whore with the way he goes at it with a lot of the guys...not that I mind! xd
And yes, he has to be aware of the SasuNaru fans. I mean, in almost every Naruto forum, site, shrine, ect...there's always a group of SasuNaru fans! 3nodding
Whether he likes it or not is another story. My perverted side would like to scream "Yes, Yes, Yes! scream "...but I can't be too sure. Honestly, a part of me thinks he likes to tease us fans and then laugh at us when he reads how devoted we are... crying Say it ain't so!!!
Either way, there's no stopping the fans!
