Skye mimicked the sign, smiling. "S'enity," she giggled. "Little, like Mommy like Lore. Not big like C'ebor."
She made the sign again. "Where's Celebor?" Serenity asked, looking around as they reached the door to the Children's Room. "I can't see him. Where is he?" She sat up a little taller on Elnara's shoulder to look around.Elnara looked around as well, looking for Celebor. She could see Rune sitting at her desk, but not Celebor anywhere ...

"Maybe he's sitting somewhere," Lore suggested looking around the room, and it was quite large even for a Children's Room, and he was sure Rune wasn't going to let Celebor out wandering about without Elnara there.

Elnara nodded. "Guess we'd best start looking then," she suggested, and headed into the room.
By this time Celebor had left his seat and was looking around the shelves once more, his first book tucked under his arm.

Lore nodded slowly, "Just start looking through the shelves too, they aren't high, but high enough to hide the average child," he told her.
But not overly high fortunately so assuming there was nothing blocking their path, if they looked from one end of the room, they might be able to spot Celebor's head.

Elnara tried to put Serenity down, but the tiny child was holding on to her far too tightly. It didn't take long before Elnara gave up and just kept carrying her. She started down the end of the room, looking down each row for her son.
Celebor found another book to look at and started heading for the chair again.

"Are you looking for something?" Rune called out from her desk, where she was looking at some little drabble about a country or another.
It was interesting to her that Lore was out of his office, normally he wasn't during this time of day.
Lore turned for a moment, "Actually, we're looking for a small elven boy Rune."
"I believe..." Rune looked back at her book, "He is sitting in one of the beanbag chairs.

Elnara turned when she heard that, and smiled waveringly before continuing on. She spotted Celebor finally, sitting in a beanbag chair at the far end of one of the rows. "Here he is," she called to Lore, her relief evident in her voice. She started down the row towards him. Celebor was looking through his new book, so engrossed that he didn't notice Elnara coming. He scratched at the back of his neck absently as he flipped a page.Skye clapped her hands and put one arm around Lore's neck. "Mommy fin' C'ebor," she told him, giggling and pointing down to where Elnara had started down a row. "See? Mommy fin'!"
Then she looked over Lore's shoulder and waved at the kind-looking girl behind the desk.

Rune waved back kindly with a smile, she noted that Lore was holding the little girl waving at her. They looked like a family she thought, did Mr. Lore decided it was time to have a family? After all over a century was a long time.
"So she did," Lore murmured in amused as he followed Elnara, "He looks like he's enjoying himself."

Skye tapped Lore on the cheek and pointed back at the girl who was sitting at the desk. "A'sat?" she asked him curiously. "P'etty." When they reached Celebor, Serenity finally detached herself from Elnara's arm, and she bounded over to him and pounced on him, careful not to land on the book.
"We found you!" she giggled, climbing up on the chair to sit beside him and read over his shoulder. "What book did you get?"Celebor grinned and moved over a bit to make room for his sister. "I found a book 'bout castles!" he told her, lowering it a bit to show her. "See? Lots of different kinds!"

Lore blinked and looked over his shoulder at Rune, "That is Rune," he showned her with his hand.
Did Skye think Rune was pretty? Well Rune, truth be told, though most wouldn't admit it because she looked like a thirteen year old.

"Oon?" Skye tried to repeat, though she did fine with copying the sign for it. She frowned. No, that didn't feel right. She put one hand on Lore's throat and stared intently at his lips. "Say 'gain," she requested, her big blue eyes flickering up at him, then focusing on his mouth again.

"R-une," Lore replied slowly for Skye to repeat, it was one of those more unusual words, but it was such a nice word.

Skye moved her lips along with Lore's, then tried to make the vibration herself.
"Rrrr ... une," she tested it out. She nodded and smiled, and her wings started fluttering. "Rune!" she giggled, and made the sign for it as well. Then she poked Lore's cheek again. "Lore teach Skye good!" she smiled, her blue eyes sparkling brightly.

Skye giggled, then put her cheek against his and looked around the room. "A Mommy go?" she asked Lore, her wings fluttering slowly. "Lore, fin' Mommy!"
She hooked her index finger over her lip as she looked around, one arm still around Lore's neck. Elnara had sat down beside Celebor and Serenity, and was looking at the book with them. Celebor was fascinated by it, by all the different castles in it; but Elnara was starting to feel a little homesick, and so she was far quieter than was normal for her.
