I don't like KaiHil either. If she has to be put with anyone, it should be Tyson in my opinion.

hey. the fire is still here. And this thread is not about the hate.
So what most of you are saying is that because you hate KaiHil You hate Hilary?
That makes as much sense of me hating Mariah because she gets paired with Rei, a pairing I can't stand because I can't see the logic in it and also because I believe Rei would be much better suited to someone like Johnny. 3nodding
Instead. I choose to dislike that pairing instead of throwing my hate at the characters.

I kind of find it unfair that some of us are 'ganging up' on only one certain female character. If she were real, I know how she'd feel...
I'll be frank and admit that I like Hilary's character because I was somewhat like her at that age. Not too much of a know-it-all, but I was pretty bossy (in a good way, according to one of my teachers). AND the ganging up and hating thing. Went through that for nearly five years: my entire class (40 students) were always saying things behind my back and making up mean songs and stuff 'bout me. At least I could defend myself.
Panda's right; don't bash Hilary (or anyone else, for that matter). They, as anime characters, can't.
As for her being 'annoying' (I don't get why you say she's annoying), she just acts like that because (and this is where my psychology lessons get me) she wants to be accepted, but she hasn't exactly figured out how to go about it - she's still confused, really, as to who she is. We all go through that stage, and Hilary does in Beyblade 2002.
In G-Rev, hasn't anyone noticed that she isn't as bossy, and is really more for comedy relief, seeing as she's settled into a 'routine' as regards Team BBA? Her character was toned down a bit in the third season.
Anyway, seeing as the manga is the original and Hilary doesn't exist in it, then can't we just accept that Kai got together with someone else?
Seriously, I don't get character bashing...I think it's kinda pointless, but that's just my opinion...

Yeah I'm a Mathilda person, partly Mao on the girl power . In another anime Hinata type but the violent one.
Yeah I accept someone else ending up with Kai at the manga but I will still say as long it's not Hilary. I'm not bashing her totally but bashing her line with Kai.

goddessanime Yeah I don't really know why is she really annoying that is just what is a burned definition of her when I heard that she might have a crush on Kai and they are paired. Well after I found her annoying I found her more annoying when she release her/ kenny's beyblade in g revolution the same way Kai did. I just think of her as not enough , and especially not worthy for Kai. Though I think that if ever it will be one sided. yup..she shows some signs that she likes Kai best from the other bladebreakers...Like the time she saw the Bladebreaker's world championship photo and she pointed out who Kai is and said that he was cute. and when how shaky her voice was when Tyson introduced her to him. (which Kai just walked past by and ignored of course).and when they got trapped in the island, and when Kai saved her and kenny from the falling debris. she gave him the dreamy kind of look. and whenever she wanted to ask a question, she turns to Kai all the time! -_-

I find it difficult to comment on a season I haven't seen so I'm not even going to try.
Instead I'll cite the Hilary in Grev who seems to have mellowed out from the Hilary you describe in VForce. The Hilary I know has claim to some of the most poignant moments in Grev, most notably two of my favourite scenes involving her and Tyson on a Hill somewhere and her watching Kenny work tirelessly on Hopper in order to pick up the slack for Kai.
In both of these scenes she acts as a sort of sounding board for Tyson, letting him do his 'I'm the main character so I must reflect' thing while at the some time telling him that he's not quite all that and that he's only where he is today because of help. She helps Tyson to resolve his feelings about the team members who, in his perspective, abandoned him.
At least, that's the Hilary I know.
I can see bits of myself in most of the Bey!Kids but I actually think the character I most identify with is Rei XD He is easygoing enough to be able to get along with basically anyone but has a streak of stubborness and tends to be able to see through the surface of things.
For both of those traits I'll cite the first season with his refusal to give in to both Lee and Bryan and the Third season in the poignant(That word again) scene where Max and Rei leave Tyson in the training room. Something along the lines of Tyson saying that They will still always be friends and Max answers something like 'Sure Thing' While Rei just tells Tyson he'll see him in the tournament before leaving, recognising that friendship won't be possible for a bit.
...Why am I all referency today? Must be too much Modern where I have to back up EVERY FREAKING THING I SAY WITH AT LEAST TWO SOURCES. *grumbles* Ah well. Anyways, that's my essay on the subject

In logic if she is with him she , she is not with kai. whatever in yaoi I go for TakaoXKai even though it grosses me out. Kai is still the kai we know a bit there. P.S. she was not in Kai's thought in ep 48 g revolution. Kenny was even there.

Yeah that's what I mean. I think also, since Kai was the only one to follow Hilary's special 'back to basics plan' she once made, that made her gain more respect for Kai. He was sort of like a mentor to her and Hiro replaces that role in G-Revolution. In V-Force, there really weren't that many adult characters other than the 'bad guys' around, so Kai was the more mature one in that group especially as he assumed the adult role when he rescued Hilary and Kenny.
