This may sound funny but...I only started listening to Rammstein about a month ago. ..my friend in the Netherlands loved that band apparently and he sent me a couple songs...I fell in love. sweatdrop

My brother gave me a copy of Mutter, and I only liked Spieluhr, and still to this day, do I know that bit Till says at the start, off by heart.
Thats 5 years ago. xd
Then, saw Sonne released on TV, and such, and heard Du Hast on CKY2K.

I was 8 or 9 when I first heard them. The first song I heard was either Du hast or drsg.

I believe i was 15 and i am now 16. I didnt learn of them till last year, from a friend, but i am so happy they got me to listen to them.. they're one of my favorite bands now.
Heirate Mich was the first song i heard

I remember my first song was Engel... my sister was playing it one night and i was like whoa! Loved them ever since.

I was 12 or 13, now 14. I was listening to Yahoo! radio and (I think) Reise, Reise came on. I was about to skip but then I saw it was from the Resident Evil: Apocalypse soundtrack so I decided to listen to it (I also love RE).

I do believe the first time I heard Rammstein was back in the 90s.. I think I was in 6th-ish grade? Engel's on the Mortal Kombat Annihalation soundtrack :3
w00. I'm 19 now and I still love them :3

I think I was in 8th grade, but might have been my Freshman year of High school. In any case, my friend had the Freur Frie and Sonne music videos on his computer, and we watched them. Sonne's still my favorite song, but I like the album version better.
Turns out my Dad already had Herzeleid, Senschut, Mutter, and Reise Reise. But I bought Rosenrot for myself. Good times.
PS. I'm 18 now.

when I was about 6 years old. My big brother and my sis listened to du hast. So about 7 or 8 years now... surprised but i really didn't get into them until aroung the time of mutter, when I saw XXX and heard feuer frei!

I heard of them last year. I think somebody in my German class mentioned them. But I never really paid any attention until this year when one of my best friends told me, "You have to hear this guy sing!" Her boyfriend had given her the Rosenrot cd and she loved Till's voice. We ended up using Till later that night to scare the s**t out of one of our more jumpy friends (turned on the cd player when she wasn't paying attention at 1:30 in the morning, completely dark room...I think it was "Spiel mit mir"...she jumped up and freaked out and was like "I hear Satan, guys!!!")
Anyway, I got her boyfriend to burn me Rosenrot. But it wasn't until this past month that I got really into Rammstein. I have managed to get two other people deeply into Rammstein...am still working on boyfriend however. The fact that he doesn't speak German is a deterant, but I'm working on him.
