What do you guys think...is it possible that Dumbbledore will play some part in the next story...like Harry's parents in the OotP. Personaly I think he's stupid goig off on his own and getting the wild idea he is going to go and destroy all of the Horcruxes and Voldemort on his own.
I was surprised that Harry liked Ginny, and i honestly don't believe it's over, he was so noble and i think Ginny is way to stubborn to be told she has to stay behind.
Go Hagrid, when he was dueling, that was awesome! And Mcgongal(sp?) she rocked....I didm't know she was member of the Order though.
I was slightly disappointed in Hermoine when she failed to relise Flitwick had been stupified I mean she's the smartest witch in her class. But then again I was impressed when she gave up her last year at Hogwarts to go with Harry on his insane mission that he is going on.

I forgot that i had another stroke of brillance yesterday! I think that Hufflepuff's cup is hidden at the orphange or maybe a building that was once the orphange!! I think this because Dumbledore didnt just show harry the part about the cave, but he included the orphange itself! If Voldermort was willing to go back to the cave to hide the locket, than he would have been able to hide the cup in the orphange.
PS: I have no idea what the mystery Horcrux could be! The only thing we know is that it probably belonged to Ravenclaw at some time.

it follows a myth pattern... it's hard and long to explain, but she's following classic old patterns from like the oral legends and things days. dumbledore had to be the one to die, who else?

Xzynix man...thats som good stuff I was hoping some would agree. I forgot to mention---that was written by a user named Isaviel Snape. It is not mine, it was something Harls showed me. I am going to edit my post in case anyone else quotes it.

Well, first off, about the URL you posted... I think it certainly could be plausible, but about the locket thing...I dunno, I think for a Horcrux, there'd still be many enchantments placed upon it after it has been taken from the basin. Come on, this is Voldemort we're talking about. Knowing the Dark Arts, and curses(Like what Malfoy tried to send to Dumbledore). But then again, Voldemort may not have been expecting the locket to be found at all, and besides, since it is 'inevitable that one is going to die after drinking the potion', there is no need for heavier enchanments. We shall see.
Now, onto my own personal opinions on this book. First off, I think that JK Rowling has been taking a few closer looks at her fan's fanfictions and everything. All the couplings...I'd never expected Harry and Ginny...after all, its not as if they truly shared something special...or maybe that doesn't count in love? Lol, Ron and Hermiione, came as no surprise, though I'd much rather prefer Harry and Hermione to a Ginny. Tonks and Lupin is just waay too cute, and its a big shame that Bill has his face mutilated, but alas, Fleur is 'beautiful enough for the both of us' anyhow.
About Snape's betrayal, I am also thinking it wasn't genuine, but in fact, because of the Unbreakable Vow. Perhaps this vow, when cast, is a binding contract, and perhaps to a certain extent, almost 'forces' you to do whatever you're binded to or something? Its ultimately sad how Dumbledore dies, but in his death, we can learn that even the most noble, almost powerful men can make simple mistakes...no body is perfect!
However, in a way, Dumbledore will 'live on', and I think he may be able to continue guiding and giving advice to Harry, and OotP via the means of his portrait. That is to say, if Hogwarts does actually reopen, and if Harry, Hermione, and Ron do return.
For the Horcuxes, man, now the story has evolved into the 'quest' kinda storylines...much like InuYasha or something lol. I don't think that Harry can find all the Horcruxes within a year, which is normally how long the story goes on for. Personally, I want to write my own fanfiction on this, but given the journal...it sheds a whole new light on things.
Happy reading you all, and until the next Harry Potter movie!! Btw, Cho Chang looks weird... sad

As for Dumbledore dying, that came as no surprise to me. It was confirmed when Malfoy was crying the the bathroom with Moaning Myrtle about how he might die, and how he almost performed the Crucius(spelt that wrong) Curse... he just didn't have the guts to kill Harry, but then again, he didn't have them for DumbleDore, either. I mean, the main reason Harry hasn't died yet is that Dumbledore was always there to give him a helping hand, so I knew that he would have to die sooner or later.
Snape being the Half-Blood prince wasn't that much of a shocker. He was brought out as a character more in the Half-Blood Prince than in any of the other books, so I supposed it to be him, though I don't think that the Vow he made was True.
I've been searching the Harry Potter books for names with R.A.B., and the only one that I have found is Regulus Black, though I'm not sure if A. is his middle initial. It wasn't listed on the tapestry, so we won't know until the next book.

Oh and one more thing. I don't think Snape deserves to be called The Half Blood Prince. He deserves to be called "The Half Blood Git." Hmph.

Mysterika Oh and one more thing. I don't think Snape deserves to be called The Half Blood Prince. He deserves to be called "The Half Blood Git." Hmph. I would encourage you to read the link I posted before making a final decision (just a suggestion, you do not have to if you do not want to). Isaviel Snape had a good point that what he did may not have been what it seems.
