Tonight was made for... what? His friend had a point. This visit had actually been his father's suggestion, though a chance he'd leapt at. He'd wanted-- well, mostly he'd just wanted a chance to spend more time with his friend, in hopes that having him near might help him sort his feelings out, somewhat. As if constant exposure might somehow burn off the intensity of his feelings.
"It is something I would like to be taught." His finger's continued their absent stroaking, as he attempted to find the words to fit the wandering of his thoughts.
"Our Unit, Anne. Will it succeed in its purpose?" The question was asked without any change in town, he still sounded distant, maybe a little bruised. "This second life, with the mind of the first. It is cruel, isn't it? Awareness, with little control."
And it was with those words that he discovered his fingers and forced them still. "Very little control."

"You lack control?" Kian was near to amused, his tail twitching when the others fingers stopped stroking him. Clawed fingers drummed, briefly, at the carpet before his thick body twisted. Autsu probably wasn't expecting the attack, especially from his friend, and is Kian had his way his friend would be on his stomach and his hands twisted behind his back.
"It is punishment, Tsu." The dark boy growled, leaning against Autsu slightly. "But you lack control simply because you think you lack control. You force yourself away from others - me especially - because you are afraid of loosing that control. Only by letting it go and unleashing yourself will you only be in control."
Kian was strong but he didn't squeeze very hard. He didn't need to. He wanted to give Autsu the chance to fight back, to lash out at the younger boy in the way he needed to - to vent, to anything. It was how he managed control. He vented and hurt people when he needed to. It was a good thing.
"Fight me, Autsu." He hissed, tail lashing against the other.

What the, wait. Huh?!? He had been having a perfectly reasonable sulk, and now he was pinned on his stomach. If it hadn't been such a shock, he might have slipped into a deeper sulk, at being caught so off guard. But it was too much of a shock for that, and so he lay, with a Kian on top of him, listening to the half chiding words of his friends.
And then... anger. If not at his friend directly, then at the entire situation, and Kian was part of that situation. Kian was the frusterating guilt that gnawed at him, all self hate and exhausted loathing.
And he was tired of it.
Jerking his hands loose roughly, he pushed open his wings, using them as further limbs to unbalance the other boy. Managing to get to his feet, he actually glared at Anne, his eyes free of his hair for once.
"It is not so simple as you wish it, comrade. If I have learned anything, anything from any of this, it is not to trust passion. To never lose control."
Still, his hands were clenched to fists. "But I will fight you. With fists, or with weapons if you wish them."

Kian had moved back and pushed himself up, to his feet, to listen as his friend spoke. Guilt never crossed his mind. As far as Kian was concerned, he was right.
"If you never loose control, you will never be in control of yourself." Kian retorted, unwavering at the glare. Hell, his spine straightened and his chin rose in a nearly cocky fashion, tail whipping behind him as a cats would. "Keeping control is like shaking a carbonated beverage. Something explodes, eventually."
He grinned, a sharp-toothed, threatening expression that was his version of Autus glare save for less...angry. "Simple things are usually the hardest to face, Tsu. You will fight me not because I wish it but because you want to."
And it would distract Autsu. Even if he ended up beating Kian into the ground, he was distracted. That was the main point. That was what he wanted. "Stop venting on yourself. Vent on an outside source, Tsu." The grin widened and his eyes narrowed. "I can take you."

So Kian wanted explosions? Autsu was all too ready to explode. The past was still close to the surface, and while he tended toward control now, Di'Esuth had been ruled by his passions. It was that passion in him now, the sort that had led to nearly as many screaming matches with Ex'Narin as it had embraces.
He spoke then, but the words were in the low furious hissing of his own language. He'd gone a few sentences before he caught himself and forced Gaian phrases out between clenched teeth. "Do not presume to know my desires."
He advanced then, with grace and speed that gave clear evidence to the hours he spent training himself daily. His tactics however, might have done better with some forethinking, he swung quick and fast for Kian's stomach, before stepping backwards and to the left.

What Kian had said about their fighting styles proved to be true. The hissing was surprisingly comforting to the now-reptiline male although that expression of his was still in place. To assume made an a** out of you and me - that was the phrase, wasn't it?
he didn't see Autsu coming. Oh, he saw the blur of the contrasting dark and light. He heard the violence thinly veiled inside of his companions eyes. Kian knew there was to be violence - he had pushed it that far, hadn't he? He had forced his friend into his rage and he did it for his own good.
Autsu needed to vent more then anything, the alien believed. Kian was able to free his anger regularily. Everyone in his family had seen it. Still, the violence in that speedy punch left him temporarily breathless. His stomach rebelled and in the back of mind he noted that his kidney had not been hit.
That said, the thicker boy nearly doubled over before his head jerked up, tail lashing over to snap at his friend - at his thighs, at his stomach, anywhere it could reach while not stabbing him with the sharp edges. He was careful in that at least.

He had meant to hit his friend. He had meant to hit him as he had, to steal his breath, and stop further taunting words. He had not thought beyond that first impact, indeed, he wasn't thinking much at all. So while he had moved to dodge, he had moved as if he were sparring his father. He hadn't thought to take his friend's tail into account. And he, of all people, should have known to think of that issue.
The hit was a good one, solid enough to rock his slighter form and set him stumbling. Had he grounded himself, he would have been fine, but he was not thinking like a fighter, not really. He trained daily, but it had been long since he'd been a fighter.
Grunting, he swung wildly toward Kian's chin, but it was a hit without much force behind it, coming as it did from a delicate boy who was awkwardly trying to regain his balance.

Kians chin tucked down when he saw that fist come by and instead it hit at his jaw. The bone was hardened and tough, a thick fabric of life under his skin, just causing his head jerk to the side. It would bruise, slightly, but Autsu was too lost in his own unthinking anger and desperation to honestly try and hurt the other.
So, the dark alien resorted to a movement that he considered rather childish. His arms moved, firm fingers giving the smaller Autsus shoulders a shove, his lips peeled back now to reveal fangs. "I would think you punch would hurt more."
Granted, his teeth were clenched and it sounded more like hissing then it did actual words but.. they were words never the less. His hair was coming loose, with all of the constant, erratic movement; Kian didn't care. He pushed at his friend again (assuming Autsu didn't jump at him in the split second between the two), his tail lashing roughly behind him. "Tsu."

The first push was so unexpected that it set Autsu stumbling backwards. The second he was ready for, squaring his stance and simply absorbing the impact. The unexpectness of the pushing, combined with his familiar nickname, stopped his reckless attack. He stood, his breath coming in harsh pants, not from exhaustion but from emotion.
This was too much. So Kian wanted to see what happened when he lost control? Did he really?
His hands shot out, almost as if he were going to push Kian in turn. Instead, he grabbed his friend by the shoulders, and yanked him forward. The kiss was not much of a kiss, unexpected angry first kisses rarely are. But it was, unquestionably, exactly that, the rough mashing of lips against lips.
"Does that satisfy you, friend?" He asked, still holding Kian's shoulders. "Have I given up enough control?"
Any other time, he might have turned away in shame and self hate. But he was running on adrenaline, anger, and desire.

Kians shoulders had steeled themselves for a shove from his friend when those delicate hands shot out, two main eyes narrowing. He was about to snark something back when he stumbled foreward, pulled by the others anger and strength to...
What?
All three eyes blinks. First, the main two and then the third shortly after. That was different. Angry. Slightly moist. Very angry. Rather rough. A secret sort of fight of dominance Kian wasn't sure he could understand, let alone win. Where he had the upperhand of keeping calm, Autsu was the one who knew what was going on and, through his anger, controlling it.
"..." He stared at Autsu still, speaking when his voice was rather... mild, all things considering. "Do you always do that when you're angry? Because I do not think it's supposed to bruise lips."
He could be wrong! After all, Autsu would know more about it then he did, right? Right. All Kian knew was what he was told or what he had read. It wasn't much but even on television, people pressed their lips together when impassioned. Whether to procreate, in anger or sadness. He had never seen his Parentals back when he was Korshan do such things but.. They were a strange breed. All of them, gray and white and black.
Fingernails scraped up Autsus arms to the other boys face, cupping the dark skin with his equally dark hands and those red, red nails. The webbing made it appear as if parts of his cheek had a veil and Kian frowned, eyebrows knotting together slowly.
"If you are still angry.. Then no. You haven't."

If he had expected a reaction, it hadn't been that one. Of course, he hadn't been thinking, not really. But still, he hadn't thought Kian might react with so mild a query. And yet, it was so like his friend to throw him off in this way. It was, in part, why he valued him.
And now, now that thought and reason were returning to him, self loathing rose like bile in his throat, and he just stared in blank shock as Kian's hands cupped his face. The loathing twisted up inside him, becoming anger again, though of a kind he could handle. Could... control. But something had changed. A line had been crossed. It would be crossed again.
He laughed, a sound as harsh as the kiss had been. "I am sorry if I bruised you, Anne. Any part of you."
He released his grip, though he didn't pull away from those red nails. "Do not be greedy, ally. I can not give you the anger meant for others."

"You hit very weakly when you aim for the face. I was thinking you were worried about ruining my lovely features." It was a tease, a jest, his hands remaining in place against his friends face. He liked his skin there. Autsus flesh was softer, at his face, despite his frowns and harsh expressions. It felt nice. "Although my stomach may be tender for a bit."
He hesitated, the pads of his fingers running over the others cheekbones contemplatively. "Do not be stupid then, Tsu. Do not dwell on things that make you doubt your strength and concentrate on what makes you strong now. Not then. I have tried. It is..."
Kian shrugged, leaning in to press a kiss to Autsus lips. It was softer then the rough, anger induced thing from before, but mildly clumsy and innocent. This was not his forte, after all. He was a fighter. A murderer. Affection of a near-sexual nature was not something he was trained in.
"...It just is." He murmured, keeping his hands there for another moment before letting them fall. Kian took a step back, head tilting to the side. "I am angry as well. It can consume. It is not a good thing."

There were a lot of situations in which Autsu wasn't comfortable carrying on a conversation. One of those situations was standing with Kian's hands running over his face. He did not, however, complain, using that old trip of focusing on the words instead of the situation. Until of course, Kian kissed him. That got a blink, and a hiss of inhaled air. He had not meant to start anything, to make Kian think such actions were appropriate.
He, well, he hadn't been thinking. That much was clear.
"Ally..." He was not good with this. He had not ever been so, not before, with Narin. And prior to that, well, soldiers trysts were simple things, meant for enjoyment without complications. And Kian could not be so. Could he? No. His friend was an innocent, in these manners at least. But it had been nice, the feel of it, very nice.
"I was not grounded in my stance, or the hit would have landed more squarely." He fell back to familiar matter, ready to pretend that it had been nothing, that it had not happened at. "We will need to spar so more often, or I will be useless to you."

When his friend bounced back to fighting techniques after their words were exchange, Kian snorted. He took an other step back, his lips twitching and once more his head bowed. Those fingers rose up, putting his hair style back together in a quiet manner. A few strands were down completely, knee length at their fullest; the alien had never bothered to cut it.
Two eyes were trained on the ground, concentrating, and the third was studying Autsu as he spoke. "Your wings - I do not think you have learned the full use of them." He agreed, the tip of his tail twitching briefly. Giving in to Autsu a bit, not pushing further then he had already. The sad thing was, if anything more had happened, there would have been complications. They were not two average soldiers, fighting in a large group. No. They were alone. There would be more complications at that.
"You could not be useless to me unless you tried very, very hard, Comrade." His hair back up, Kians head tilted up as well, trying to catch Autsus gaze with his own. He stood still, mind flickering this way and that until he spoke once again. "Do you have access cloth? I can show you how to make a sling."

"They no longer unbalance me, but I fail to see how they might be used in a fight." Autsu admitted, self conciously opening them and showing off his still growing wingspan. He streached them to their full extent then, twisting to feel the tender pull of new bruises. Well, his friend's tail had certainly left its mark, he could tell that.
As his wings resettled themselves at his back, he looked at his friend and tilted his head slightly as he examined him. "Your hair is so long, Anne. Does it not get in your way?"
He had not noticed before, how long it was. He had tried, most times, not to look at Kian too closely.
"Of what sort? Durable? Soft? Heavy? Light?"
