Nomia went to lurch her should forward from Alturius's hand, unsure why he keeps on touching her, but she didn't put much energy into it. He was breaking her will slightly on that.
"I ... meddled with the mind of my boyfriend." She mumbled quietly. That was the first time she'd ever referred to Rain as her boyfriend. She hated admitting this outloud, because when she did it, she was convinced it was a good idea. Rain told her it was...because it was helping him deal with his pain.

Alturius shifted his hand a little, finally letting it slide off her arm. "Ah, I see..." He said, tappig his chin. "What happened to this boyfriend?" He tilted his head again slightly watching her, smiling a little still. "I'm sure you had a very delecate touch and that he was fine afterwards..."
Now very curious, this girl might well be worth getting on his side if only for he r powers alone... Guardian's be damned.

"Who knows... I was banned forever, from ever seeing him, or his family. I was told the were going to fix his head, but as punishment, I was to never see him again. His grandmother was my teacher...she tought me how to speak." Nomia looked back up at Alturius and sighed. "I ... have only met my sisters and brother since. My failure to follow the rules, has caused me to abandon my sacred duty." she didn't know the full truth behind this, just what she assumed, as the Naiads appeared only after she messed up.
"Alturius, why are you so interested in me?" she asked suddenly, realizing she knew nothing of him, but was suddenly pouring her guts out... kinda.

s**t! Alturius didn't let his smile fade, and he tried his damndest to keep the panic from creeping up into his eyes from his chest... He needed to think of something, and quickly!
"Well," He chuckled, making it sound like he was slightly embarassed perhaps even nervous. "You're cute... And you seem to be in need of some company... And you have a very intersting story to tell, which I'm afraid I really can't repay, my life story is anything but exciting..."
"I think that maybe, with a little bit of good company your life could take a turn for the better, and I'm more than willing to offer that to you, myself being the good company of course..." He laughed, hoping beyond hope that she was buying this. Though to be honest, a part of him didn't really want to use her, so he was starting to wonder if he should bring that up front or...
Wait... a part of him didn't want to use her... the hell? Searching inside himself he discovered something that made his stomach churn...
He was growing a concience! The one thing he'd never thought he'd needed! Shaking his head again to clear his thoughts he sighed. "I mean, that is, if you don't mind hanging around with me," He chuckled. "I'll admit I'm kinda a player... I've been with a fair share of girls... But uhm..." Crap, that wasn't the best thing to say. "What I mean is..." Now he was stumbling over his own thoughts. I am so screwed...
"What I mean to say is that you are a rather interesting attractive person, and I would like to get to know you better, perhaps even as more than friends, but not like... as a hookup... I may not be the nicest guy, but I can be good to people who I like, and I like you," There he said the truth! Now to wait for the incoming 'Go away and leave me alone!' rant.

Nomia had to take a few minutes to let all he said soak in. Once more, he used words in ways she was not familar with. 'Player" of what? she wondered what game he refered to. He didn't seem all that athletic tho...
Perhaps he was right though, maybe the right kind of pae'il could turn her life around. Afterall, Rain... turned her life for the worst, in a sense. No, not right now. She didn't want to be positive yet. Not about her life anyway. Not when she'd ruined so much.
"Why do you only be with girls? You not like boys?" She had no clue what he meant by what he said, other than 'be with' meaning 'in the presence of'. "Maybe I int...int... int..." she struggled again trying to think of the word, but failed. "... I let you meet my brother? Then you can not be just with girls." Nomia nodded, smiling slightly. Why did she suddenly feel the need to help him? Maybe his problems seemed minor compared to his.
'Hookup' ... 'more than friends' ... she didn't know what he was talking about. They weren't friends yet, how could they be more than friends? She wondered if that meant he wanted to be like how Rain was to her. In which, the thought scared her. She recoiled a little, and tensed. "You want to be my boyfriend?" she asked curiously, just to make sure they were on the same page. This kid was different, and spoke wierd, so it was hard to understand him.

Holy s**t she talks... funny... Is she dense or what? Alturius was trying to think this out, and came to the conclusion that she must either be slow or... Wait, she said she was taught by somebody... could she be not from around here? That makes no sense... gah... As to her question.
"Uhm... Do I want to be your boyfriend... That's a toughy... So far as I would like to get to know your body a LOT better, no... I don't want to be your boyfriend... Kiss you yeah sure, that would be awesome... But commitment... Not so much my thing... And if that don't work... We could be friends that's no biggy..." Just figure out a way to work myself closer to you maybe, if not no big loss, not the first time I've been shot down...
"I would love to meet your brother... I have a few guy friends, but I do prefer to be around girls, they're prettier, softer... and I'm not really into the kissing guys thing..." He chuckled.
Tilting his head a little, he began to wonder if she really was stupid... Or if she really wasn't from here... It was hard to tell, he'd wait and see.

Nomia was relieved at his saying 'no' to her question. Tho she seemed a bit perturbed that the way he answered, was as if she was the one asking him out.
One thing she did understand is 'kiss'. Estralita was her life teacher afterall, and Nomia was 'dating' her grandson. So maybe a few facts were a little skewed in the delivery. Nomia reached her hand up and put her palm to his face and nearly shouted, "NO!" She took a few steps away from and put her hands on her hips while looking him over. "Kissing leads to babies! I do NOT want babies with you!" She was serious, and stern. Estra taught her the facts of life... kinda.
"I will be your friend, but I will not be kissin' on you." her voice was heavily accented with that statement, as she didn't have time to stop and carefully plan what she spoke, as she had been.
The thougth of him kissing Daeron tho, was enough to knock the anger right out of her tho. She started snickering at the mental image...then when the mental image of Daeron's girlfriend beating up Alturious krept into her mind, she was flat out laughing. "Why you want to kiss Daeron? His hunny might not like that. I not met Anila yet, but ... They's in love, so I not think she like you kissin on Daeron."

Alturius tossed back his head and laughed. Slapping his kness hard it took him several minutes to regain his composure. "Oh... oh man..." wiping his yes he took a deep breath, trying to regain his ability to breath right. "Who taught you the birds and the bees?" Who the hell taught you how to talk? Geez, It's like your foregin! Mmmmm Foregin babe... yum...
Shaking his head slowly he chuckled. "I'll be happy to be your friend. No I don't want to kiss your brother... and perhaps I can help you with your speaking... I think we're miscommunicating a tad..."
More like every single word...

"Lady Estra was my teacher. But I can't see her because of my punishment." His comment about her speaking made her a little self conscience, so she went back to responding slowly to him, so she could carefully pick out the words she used.
Tho, he laughed at the idea of kissing Daeron too, so at least the ice was cracking, even if she didn't know he was really laughing at her.
"Mis...miscom...? I'm sorry, I don't understand that word." she didn't ask about many of the other words, but the way he used that particular one, made her curious what he was talking about.

"Miss-com-mu-ni-ca-te: To not understand, to mix up words, not get the message across," Alturius said with a smile bowing his head a bit as he spelled it out. Who the hell is Lady Estra? "The offer is open by the way," He chuckled. "I think we can help each other..."

Nomia nodded, feeling slightly odd about him teaching her anything. There was something about how he carried himself and spoke, that seemed... condescending to her. But she couldnt' really figure it out.
"How could lowly little me help you?" there was air of playfulness in how she spoke, her voice containing trace amounts of that lovely tone she normally carried. She was poking fun at him, really...but not being mean about it.
"I app...app..." she paused and sighed "I thank you for the offer, but I am not needing a teacher any more. Estralita taught me to speak and about life and all I need to know." She smiled and nodded. It had been a while since she'd had a real talk like this with someone other than a bratty child naiad.

Alturius chuckled, "If you're shure, then I will respect that," He smiled, bowing his head a bit. "But that being said, the offer still stands," He shook his head slowly.
Seriously, she could have gotten a better teacher, for the love of all things good and holy, she must have been raised by the most puritanical people EVER if she thinks that kissing with get her pregnant...
Not letting his smile fade as his brain smouldered he decided they needed to keep the conversation flowing. "As for you helping me... Well, there are a few ways you could... Merely listening I think, at least for now, will do me a fair bit of good," It could also screw me over really bad, so I'll have to watch what I say around her... If I play my cards right, maybe I can convince her to use that power of mind alteration to my advantage... If I could find a way to get it to spread over the entire isle...

"If I ever need to learn anything new, I will come to you." Nomia chimed with a nod to him. She felt a little more at ease, but laughing usually did do that to her...relaxed her.
"Alright..." Nomia hesitated to get close to people these days. Especially random boys. But, she also was enjoying company...and didn't want to let go of one of the longest 'visits' she's had.

"Well, I have a question for you, and if you don't understand any of this please let me know and I'll try to explain it better," Alturius started, really wanting an opinion on it from an outside party.
"I was thinking of finding a place away from my Mothers' house, I mean, I know my mother means to do well by me, but I don't think I really could stand living there anymore, I've been finding myself spending more and more time out and about on the isle. I guess what I'm saying is... Should I start looking for a new place now? Or should I wait a little while longer? The longer I'm at my Mother's the more and more she wants to interfere with my life... It's really starting to bug me... I'd go try to stay with my dad's but I'm not sure where they are.. I mean finding one would be easy, the other is a lot harder to find... Though... There is one sister I really want to meet..." He chuckled. "I've not really met her all that long, and that was when we were little, I think... I mean..." Sighing he shook his head. "My memory sucks..."

Nomia listened, knowing she'd only understand half anyway.
"I don't have good ... advice." she had to pause to think of the word. "I never lived with parents and I have only been on my own. I would think you need to grow to be your own pae'il....but ... you might fail." She didn't think she was saying what she wanted, but those were the right words. She hoped he knew what she was saying.
"Uhm... You should meet family, as family will be with you forever. You want to know them for the future, yes!" She smiled a little, very confident with that answer, because meeting her family had made her feel a lot better about things.
She knew what he was saying with his last statement, and she knew full well she could help, but it would be a very, very bad thing. Maybe ... if she did only a little bit without him knowing? The Guardians wouldn't know. She wouldnt' do anything permanant either, just ... a little mental boost...
She began to hum softly. Nothing ... overly loud or even anything effective. She wanted to see how he responded first. Because it might seem a bit awkward if she just suddenly burst out singing. She hummed a very familar tune, one that usually relaxes all fae anyway. She also turned a little, looking over the water. She let the light breeze brush over her skin and closed her eyes. It was such a beautiful evening.
Slowly reached up to pull the stray tendrils behind her ears, she opened her eyes and looked back at Alturius, wanting to see how he reacted, and hoping her actions were subtle, in the least.
