hamkura EverythingTastesPurple DontBelieveIt He cant be. Yondi was killed when the kyuubi was shoved into Naruto. Naruto wouldnt have th kyuubi it the forth was still alive.
but he's not stupid like naruto...
Besides, if something happened that caught him (the 4th) off guard, that doesn't make him stupid.

im not sure.. maybe.. but even if he was.. why would the celebrated Yondaime.. the fourth hokage.. famed beyond belief and worshipped by all in the Leaf Village.. be the leader of Akatsuki..? and besides.. his headband.. its not the Leaf village symbol.. its the Rain i think..

lil_pisces_baybee im not sure.. maybe.. but even if he was.. why would the celebrated Yondaime.. the fourth hokage.. famed beyond belief and worshipped by all in the Leaf Village.. be the leader of Akatsuki..? and besides.. his headband.. its not the Leaf village symbol.. its the Rain i think..

But I saw the picture of his headband and it's definatly the rain symbol. I remember it from the Land of Tea arc.

Rags of Ash this is one of those things that really is up for debate and changes with the person. Personally, I don't see how he could be alive. He performed the sealing Jutsu on the fox demon and the price for using that is the summoners life. I doubt that the death god would let him get away with that. It's actually, as I said - just up for debate. But, I believe he's really dead and died when Naruto was sealed with the fox demon.
But I suppose we won't know until the leader of the Akatsuki is revealed. ^_^

the fourth and naruto look the same
it seems the third knew something bout naruto no one else knew
and the fourth is definitly dead

DDaarrkk Rock Jun The Yellow Flash is dead. It was no way he could of survived the jutsu he did. If you listened to the Third he said, doing that jutsu costed the summoner his life. An that Shinigami didn't look like he is the kind of thing you can pursade. neutral Though, it would be something if the Leader is revealed to be the Fourth. Well anywho. I still think he's dead. still how did the 9 tailed fox survive it then. Yes he got trapped in naruto's body but he is still alive. He proved that during the fight between Naruto and Saskue. The one where Saskue transformed into that wierd bat/girl cross. Well Kyuubi [the 9 tailed fox] was never killed during the process because the whole point of sealing it into Naruto was because they couldnt defeat it in the first place. Long story short: They couldn't kill Kyuubi so they sealed him up. 3nodding
