Taka gasped she looked to Twilght and then at Amor. She looked around now wondering how they had gotten up here.

Amor hacked the water out of his lungs and dragged them back to dry ground. Shaking himself like a dog, he went up to Taka and Twilight.
"Are you two alright?" He asked them.
Twilight, quivering all over from the cold water, nodded slightly.

Taka nodded slightly. She managed to lift herself up feeling a bit quilty she couldn't even help Twilight up. But Amor, Brought both her and Twilight up.

Shinoshi rushed to the foxes with the net still between his baby teeth. He hadnt thought of three foxes needing warmth and hoped that the net was big enough that they could share. He began with Twilight who very clearly needed it the most.

Amor smiled as the kit helped Twilight keep warm. The night was beginning to set in, and he didn't want the nighttime chill to freeze her or Taka.
"It's getting dark." He muttered to himself. "We might have to stay here, or risk travelling through the forest in the night..."
Twilight nodded her head in thanks to Shinoshi and shivered as a breeze blew through her damp fur. She wished she had more of that rabbit, since the dunk in the lake made her hungry again.
Twilight laid her head on the dirt, and glared at Amor. She was not in the mood to travel and doesn't want to be moved right now.

Taka finally seemed to recollect memory. She gazed at Twilight again seeing three hearts on her face. 'Were they tattooed on her when she was drowning..?" Taka thought. She felt something heavy on her front leg. She looked down. Seeing a bracelet ..with 3 hearts on the Bracelet's steel metal. Taka looked at it and stared.

It was getting dark, Phelan stopped for a moment turning his head to make sure Leaf was still securely between his shoulder blades. He smirked amazed by his little sister's ability to balance herself on him while she slept. He sniffed the air... what was that... burnt ash but not too recent. "There was a big fire here recently." Speaking outloud to himself he also believed he caught a brief scent of foxes a bit to the west, he decided to investigate.
Leaf yawned really big as he woke. "Morning bro err I mean night, whats going on?" She caught the scent of the foxes as well. "New foxes? Do you think they might be friendly?" She hoped they were.
"I don't know lil dudette thats why I'm trying to find out! How about you scout ahead? And stay..."
She cut him off. "... outta site, I know Phelan you've told me a hundred times!" Leaf jumped into the air and fluttered off.
He hoped Leaf would listen to him for once but those hopes were soon dashes as he heard Leaf yell for him a few yard off. Phelan took off like a shot worried to death he had sent her into danger. He stopped short when he entered the clearing, there was Leaf talking with a slightly wet huge modifox with two througly soaked adults and a kit. "Umm hello?"

Twilight blinked at stared at Taka in disbelief. "Tattoo? What tattoo?" She wasn't in the mood to go find a reflecting surface and stare at her face, so she's just going to take her word for it.
Noticing two more Modifoxes wandering around in the forest, Twilight muttered a hello to them, feeling exhausted.
Amor stared at the two of them, wondering where they had gotten their sudden modificatioins. Gazing out to the lake, he caught glimpse of what appeared to be another fox standing on the water. Blinking, he realized that it was only the shadow of the far-off island, the Island of Salvation.
He snicked quietly to himself, thinking of the irony of the name and what happened tonight. Twilight and Taka were saved by Adora, like the first Modifoxes were saved. And their tattoo and bracelet was the mark of that.
Amor turned to the new strangers, a adult Modifox and a kit. "Hello. Welcome to the... land of Amores. Since our camp isn't here..." He said while bowing their greeting.

"I'm Leaf and that guy is my brother Phelan!" Leaf was saying excitedly as Phelan got closer. "Who are you and how did you guys get so wet?" She notices the male kit with the red tipped ear, he looked nervous Leaf got closer to him slowly forgetting the adults. "Hi my name is Leaf, whats yours?"
Phelan was left holding the bag, he cleared his throat and bowed his head to Amor. "I thank you for your welcome, I hope we aren't intruding or anything." He looked to Taka and Twilight smiled in greeting then looked back to Amor. "Is there anything we can assist you with?"

Shinoshi backed away a little from Leaf. The beak-shape nose reminded him of the big bird that tried to eat him on his way here. Though whatever Leaf looked like he could be a nice modi. Crawling low to the ground he approached the green kit. It didnt smell like a bird so he relaxed more. "My name Shinoshi" he squeaked.

"... Twilight, Taka, and I took a dunk in the lake." Amor said in a stiff voice. "I'm pretty sure that we're not needing anything, but I thank you for asking. You can stay around here if you want in case something arises."
Watching the two kits talk with each other, Twilight looked at Phelan and blinked.
"Did I see you before?" She asked catiously.

Leaf smiled as warmly as he could. "Thats a nice name Shinoshi! Don't worry me and my brother are good foxes if Amor doesn't mind meybe we can stay around for awhile." She listens to Amor and Phelan talking then turns to address Amor. "Mr. Amor, you're two friends are soaked to the bone if you're camp is near by we should go there to get all three of you warm and dry! Phelan is strong enough to carry one on his back and as strong looking as you are sir you can carry the other."
"Leaf! Don't talk rude like that!" He pokes her with his paw. "I'm sorry Amor she is very headstrong and thinks she knows everything!"
Leaf rolls her eyes at her brother, he knew she was right.
At Twilight's question Phelan looked at her closely searching his memory, then his mouth opens in surprise. "Yes... I believe you were the first fox I met when I was born... I though it was just a dream..." He looked at her mistified.

Shinoshi gave thought to the idea of moving back to camp, but since darkness was setting in soon how could they create fire? And how could they carry it with them? The shape of a lantern around the neck like a pendant took form in his mind, but the creation of glass and a chain was too difficult with small resources. Then he thought of carrying a club with fire on the end between the teeth. All he needed for that were large branches and some flint stone for sparking the fire.
"Lets make fire! We can go back to camp!"
Shi' rushed around the trees looking for dead branches. He found many and brought back the driest three. Flint stone was less easy to find so he tried his luck with anything he could find. Then handing the materials to Phelan he said "Dad told me not to play with fire yet. I'm too small. You can do it!"

Twilight blushed lightly but still smiled at the thought. "You were the kit that said 'dude' all the time and nearly got a couple to fight with each other... I remember that." She forgotten who the couple were, but the experience was amusing. "You really did grow." Twilight said to herself.
Amor was startled by the freshness in Leaf's voice, but put aside the thought for now.
"Phelan, if you can really carry one of them, that would be great. So we don't have to worry about spending the night here." He glanced at the two Modifoxes that were still soaked, and at Shinoshi. Would he be able to keep up with them?
Bending his head down, he tried to get his attention. "Would you be able to follow us if we headed back to camp now?"

(( Ryan, modifoxes cant make fire they are just very intelligent foxes. If there was a lightening storm we could get fire but without thumbs we cant use flint to strike a fire. ))
Phelan smirked at the memory. "I say groovy as well Miss Twilight." He nods to Amor. "Yes I can carry a full size fox, I think being in a more enclosed area would be better than by the lake side. So who should I carry?"
Leaf pipped up. "Ill walk with Shinoshi just point me in the right direction Amor!"
