((I'm in Ohio.)) Kyo looked at Anna. "Yeah. Its over there." He pointed to a wooden door. "Oh and, If you need a change of clothes, I have some. Its guy clothes but it should fit."-------------------- Ryuu's ears heard a puff. Like something being blown and then smelled smoke. He just shrugged. He looked at Cloud with an emotionless face. "So, how have you been?"

Louisiana. No wonder we have different hours. rolleyes
Anna gave a small thanks-a-bunch smile, and went to grab a pair of shorts and a tee-shirt from a drawer that Kyo pointed out to her. She went to the bathroom and cleaned herself off and changed. When she came out, she was still looking at her leg. "Just can't believe it," she mumbled. She looked up at Kyo who was staring at Saku. "So... when should we head back?"

Kyo looked at her. "Head back? We can't go back in there. Its not a safe place." Kyo sat down on the end of the bed. "Do the clothes fit fine?"

"You aren't heading back." Saku said, finally opening her eyes. She lifted herself slowly but an incredibly sharp pain surged through her shoulder. She had fallen on it harder than she thought. She winced and grabbed her shoulder as she sat up awkwardly.

Anna looked at her outfit. "Yeah, actually, it feels fine- Hey, don't try to change the subject!" She crossed her arms. "Look, we have to go back for the following reasons. 1, you," she pointed at Saku "are seriously wounded, despite all your protests to the contrary and I doubt that we could help you with human medicine because you are not human (and don't try to pretend you are) so we are obligated to help you back to your home. B, our homes," and here she pointed at Kyo "are on the edge of the forest where we saw that gigantic monster. It almost killed us. Whats going to happen to all those people who go for little walks in the forest? Whats going to happen to all those little kids who go in there to play 'fort'? We have to do our best to keep them from being hurt. And 2," she said with a flourish "I left my stuff in there, so I gotta go back or my dad will kill me for taking his binoculars." Anna though to herself plus, if I don't get that chick to help me out, how am I gonna find that Other World thing?

"Did you IMAGINE what had happened? Niether of you were much help." Saku's eyes became hard. "I protect that forest with my life, as you have seen. If Scientists or the government or even tourists found that place then the...other world would be in jeprody. You're both brave, I'll give you that. But just trust me and stay away. Humans that go into the forest are often killed. I see new bodies everyday and they vanish in minutes so that no one ever knows....And for your information I am a human. I live dowtown. I just have experience in that forest that niether of you have."

Kyo grunted. "She has a point." He tilted his head at Anna. "Just you protecting it wont do much. And you have a borken shoulder, so you can't do anything right now anyways."

"Well then I geuss I owe you. And I will repay you by helping to protect the forest." Kyo said and stood up. He walked over to the door and opened it. He leaned against the door frame and felt the cool air blow in.

Cloud was use to seeing emotionless eyes but for some reason she wished that Ryuu would look at her differently. She leaned against a tree and heard something near by. Brushing the idea away she paid attention to Ryuu again.
"I've been alright" she said "gotten myself into a bit of trouble here and there but nothing i couldnt handle so far"

Saku's jaw dropped open in suprise but she shook her head and quickly recovered.
"And I have no say in this?" Saku asked wincing as her shoulder throbbed in reply.
