Yi watched him for a moment before sighing. They reached the room. It was absolutly spotless, almsot shining! THe ground was the same cold stone, except in a few small areas which held grass greener then anything outside the cave, one of which was large enough for three or four jala to sleep on, and not be squished together. "I'm not fond of laying on rock so i picked this room because it has that nice patch of grass. Its really rather soft." She tiltied her head a bit to him before walking in and settling down. She really was exausted. And tired of thinking. Her wings, normally held tight to her body, relaxed and drooped slightly. She wasn't a princess her, in this small, secluded eden. She was simply Yi. However, even tho she belived Tahmores would not judge her from this, she still felt a bit of uneasyness of what he would think. She shook her head a bit. She'd find out wouldn't she.

Tahmores stood in the entrance of the room as he watched Yi settled herself down on a patch of grass. It was rather odd for him to see grass inside of a cave, yet it seemed that this place wasn't an ordinary cave. He gazed around, spotting a small patch of grass near the entrance and he trotted over to it, settling himself down on it.
"It is soft," he said, smiling at her shyly. He didn't know that Yi acted differently in her quarters than she did out in the open. That would be something he would get used to quickly, despite him not seeing her true nature. Letting his muzzle rest on the stone in front of him, he half-closed his eyes as his wings slowly drooped down beside his body.

Yi blinked, her head perked, eyes watching him settle down beside the door. Her ears went back a bit before she snorted and turend away, ignoring him. Stupid unobservent little prat, she thought, doesn't understand anything. She sighed. She was sued to sleeping alone, but having Tahmores in the room...and still feeling alone...Just seemed to magnify the feeling ten fold.

Tahmores winces as he noticed Yi staring at him. He had let his instincts kick in and allowed himself to settle down away from Yi instead of near her. He began to mentally kick himself as he slowly began to rise. 'What if she doesn't want me now,' he thought to himself bitterly. He had gotten used to sleeping alone that it was only instinct for him to do so. Carefully and slowly, he made his way over to her, his head held down low.
Gazing at her for a few seconds, he waited for her to say something to him before settling down beside her, his wings tucked up against his body. He was expecting a tongue lashing for doing something as stupid as leaving her to sleep alone.

She didn't say a word. didn't even move her head. In fact she moved a wing so it covered her head as she lay her head down. A rather harsh silent treatment but tho she wouldn't say anything out loud, she was infact hurt by such a simple action. Which made no sense to her. She shouldnt' be hurt, she should be pissed, mabye a bit surprised, or infact indifferent, but the slight thought that the stallion didn't care...hurt.

He didn't say anything to Yi about the silent treatment he was receiving. It seemed that this was his punishment. He didn't know how long it was going to continue, but at least he didn't get a tongue lashing or a hoof lashing out at him. Closing his eyes, he let his muzzle rest near Yi's neck, as if reminding her that he was still beside her.

She still said nothing. But she knew he was there and that eased it slightly. Another thing she wouldn't say. Him having settled by the door brought about the thought he would leave as soon as he could. Which she didn't like the thought of. She did't know what she felt for the stallion, per say, but she didn't like the thought of being alone anymore...it was weird.
Finalyl seh turned her head to looked at him. "Grow a backbone." she said simply. "You'll be torn apart, esspecially if you deside to stay around afte i becoem queen...You'll have power, and you can't be so scared and expect others to listen to you..." She reached over and nuzzled him. "I dont' want somome kicking your butt."

He was a little surprised that she was still awake. He would have thought that she would have fallen fast asleep as soon as she put her wing over her head. He heard her words carefully as he gazed down at the ground. He wanted to grow stronger for her. No, he had to grow stronger. He didn't want Ka or anyone else to beat him up if he showed them that he was a weakling.
He nodded his head slowly, a plan already in his mind. "I promise that I won't become shy anymore. I will adapt for anything that might come in our way of our relationship and your journey to become queen." He lifted his gaze up to her as she nuzzled him. Smiling warmly, he nuzzled her back, feeling a sense of relief run through his veins. "Don't worry. I bet I will be the one kicking everyone else's butts in no time."

She had to laugh at that. "We'll see, hot shot. But dont' change to much...I don't want you to turn into one of the fight hungry stallions like my brother and the saps he beats up..." She lay her head back down. "You'll have contol one day...And if i become queen, and my brother finds a way to off me, You'll be incontrol all byyourself, so you need to beable to rule. Day one of your training starts tomarrow." she laughed softly against as she snuggled against him and closed her eyes. This time, she did drift off.

Tahmores flicked an ear slightly at her words. He never thought to become like her brother, nor did he want to become a light-weight, weak Jala who rode on the coat-tails of Yi while she fought hard to become queen.
Hearing that he would have control one day, when Yi became queen, he began to question how he was going to be able to do it. Hearing her say something about training relieved him slightly of his worries, yet he was still a little unsure if he would be up to the task of ruling beside Yi. 'One day at a time. Gotta take it one day at a time or else you will go mad,' he silently told himself as she felt her snuggled against him. Smiling, he rested his head at the base of her neck, falling into a light sleep.
