so, i finally finished reading all of the posts!
Shilake la Niora! Sate la (so) Firo!
did i miss how to say "so" ? i can't find it. and i think its in the notebook! i just can't find it on the posts!

ERm.... you conjugated "shilakeshi" wrong, by the way, its "shila" in the "la" form. And its "kulii" which means really/very. In this case you'd use it for "so" because you really mean you are "very" happy. (And I don't beleive I actually have a word for "so" other than "kulii"... (Oh, and you'd also need to use "me" 'cause it's technically an adjective. So, "Sate la kulii me firo." = "I'm so happy." or "I'm really happy." or "I'm very happy." 3nodding )

Here's some slang, see if you can figure it out:

quotation marks/punctuation
like... i replied, "hi!"
where do all the quotations and punctuations go?

AND SALLY WINS THE PRIZE!!! (Except "miko-miko" is "good-good" or "very good" because whenever you repeat a word and hyphenate it, you just emphasize it's meaning. 3nodding And, "Yolak'ale" is nothing but "Yolaka" and "ale" combined because there are two "a"'s next to each other. So I really said, "Hey, everyone! How are ya! I'm doin' good! And ya?" Kinda, but it's more like our English rules with conjunctions instead of pure slang that arises and butchers languages. whee And I'll post more in the slang section eventually, but I need to work out the bugs first. x3)

A possesive plural is formed by adding "milo" before the subject, and I beleive I've covered that already, actually... confused

Example: "The dogs' food" = "Ipe milo ukasi shaisa."

If you have a plural subject AND object, then two "milo" are added.

Example: "The students' classes" = "Ipe milo chulokosi milo yiesa"

And, I'll post hyphenation and punctuation tomorrow! 3nodding

Shulu, lasi milo chulokosa!

whee

Ni l'aku. whee
----------------
Eta, kisai, sateke saha ipa ipe kisai "spelling"... eRm... I need a word for that, don't I? xD
--------------
Note: Kisai has many meanings, "yes", "true", "correct", and something similar to "of course" and "sure" if you use the right inflection. 3nodding

I should probably get the slang lesson up soon, shouldn't I? xD

For now, the general rule with this is if you have two of the same vowel next to each other in seprate words, then you remove the first one and replace it with an '. This is most common with the letter "a".

Example: Me too. - La aku - L'aku
Or: Hello all - Yolaka ale - Yolak'ale.

Please note that in this case, you would change the stress to the part before the part being combined, so it would be "L'A-ku" and "yo-LAK'-ale"

Kisai? Kisai. Shulu, lasi milo chulokosa! 3nodding

For some reason, this language gives me the Austronesian vibe.

yolaka! oshi sate la?

Iniji la! Sate no' no'! xD
-------------
I don't know! You are you! xD
-------------
You kinda used the word for "I" instead of "you", I presume you mean "How are you?" which is "Oshi sate NOKI?" not "Oshi sate LA?" See? And: Sate la miko-miko, eta no'? mrgreen
