Gods were something Habu definetely had more understanding of than the monarchy of the Pridelands and it's use to the members of the pride. With friends and family such as his, it wasn't surprising, but that seemed unlikely to come up in conversation unless he said.
"Powers depend on what they rule," he explained, then considered the best example he knew of, "Like, a god of souls could see your soul." Habu wasn't sure that was a clear example as it didn't really effect much, but he wasn't sure he knew any direct examples for sure. His mother seemed to only have powers that indirectly effect those around her.

Intombi's right paw went to her chest, a move she hadn't even thought of doing. In the recesses of her mind, the idea that there was something out there that could see her soul was frightening. The idea that there were lions who had powers similar or even unsimilar to it was frightening. For a split second, that fear took over her expression, flickering in her eyes as her paw tapped the brown fur on her chest. It went as fast at it had came, though, almost unnoticable, unless Habu had been watching her close enough. Her usual bubbly nature resurfaced and her eyes took on a curious light once again. Her paw dropped absently in front of her.
"Are there a lot of gods? I've never seen one before..." She assumed that if there were loads of them around, she would've run into one before. Maybe they were a secret thing that not ever critter knew of? Or maybe, having little to do with her family her whole life, she had just been left out of the loop on this one.

Habu may not have been watching carefully, but he did notice a change in Intonmbi's expression and posture. He couldn't be sure what it meant, though he guessed it was the result of some surprise involving what he said. He'd never imagine a simple mention of anything about his mother being frightening, but then- he knew more about it than he could easily describe.
"It's interesting," he continued, finding no other comment to make, "It's not so easy to see everything- but like, good or bad nature.." Wahabu recalled what his mother said, he'd been younger and full of questions when they were talking about it. He probably would never understand it in it's entirety, but that was something Mtima had said when he was told what she could do.
"I don't know how many gods there are, I'd imagine there would be quite a few," he said thoughtfully, trying to count those he knew. He'd met three, face-to-face, two more had been in dreams he now assumed to be visions.. there couldn't be only five gods, could there? Maybe, but it was unlikely.

Completely over her light panic attack, the young lioness relaxed once more and nodded. "That is interesting. I wonder if I'll ever meet one..." She trailed off lightly, trying to imagine a meeting with a god. They must be celestial beings, high above the earth in both the physical and mental worlds. If they can fly, after all, they might enjoy staying in the clouds. They must be regal, as well. To have power went hand in hand with regalness, at least in Intombi's narrow scope. She couldn't imagine anyone abusing such power, since the world was ponies and daisies to her. She could only hope to run into one, especially if there were quite a few about.
Habu seemed to know what he was talking about, as if he had been good friends with a couple. If he was, it must've been interesting to grow up along side an immortal being. Intombi's friend when she was a young cub could float on her back, and Intombi had been beyond impressed. She giggled a little, thinking of how that must pale when compared to flying. "Did you have a lot of god-friends as a cub?"

"Maybe, they seem to like the Pridelands," he answers absent-mindedly, easily giving more reason to believe he knew gods. Habu knew for a fact his mother liked the Pridelands, and knowing two others had been around here in his own short life seemed to provide more evidence. He glanced up to the sky thoughtfully, only to be drawn back by a not-so-surprising question. Had he been that obvious?
"Actually, I did," he answered, smiling at Intombi, "One of my best friends is a god, though I haven't seen him in a while now. It's where I got the feather by my ear."
At that, Habu turned his head to show off a white feather that was indeed tucked neatly behind his ear. In fact, it was tied there by an interesting little thread the god himself had put there after he lost the feather once.

Intombi admired the feather for a few moments. So he did have a god friend. The pair must've had quite a bit of fun. "It's a nice feather." She smiled warmly. She wondered if a god could float on their back. Probablly an irrelevent question, but was all she had to compare Noyana with. The wings would probablly help... maybe if they were spread out. Intombi had never learned the trick. She had practiced quite a bit, and then eventually developed a mild fear of water for her efforts. Ironic how things work out, isn't it? They say practice makes perfect, but in this case, it had completely turned her off to the trick.
"Well, thanks for all the info, Habu." She pushed up onto her belly, flicking her tail a little to keep balance. She was actually starting to consider joining the Pridelands far sooner than she originally planned now that she had talked to him. "I should probablly start hanging around Pride Rock to try to meet the queen." She hadn't a clue that one of her better friends in the pride was Kami's daughter, and that she could easily get a meeting with the queen through the princess. It was probablly for the better, anyway. Joining shouldn't be something that was done through connections.

"I agree," Habu nodded, glancing over as best he could to catch a glimpse of it. It was his most prized possession, though he couldn't really say that he owned much. He was quite content with how things were, though. His ears flickered and he glanced over at Intombi as she spoke in such a way that made it clear she was about to leave. He was a bit surprised to hear that she would be going to Pride Rock now, after she'd talked about taking her time.
"Not a problem," he said brightly, "I hope to see you around more." Habu was comfortable where he was, though, and decided he would stay where he was a while longer.

The young lioness wasn't going to head to Pride Rock just yet. In fact, she planned on stopping by a water hole and then heading towards her mother's den see if any of her family was about. She'd probablly head back into the Pridelands in a few days, and start hanging around the area where she might bump into the Queen. She had indeed sped up her time table, but talking with Habu had made it seem like such a good idea to join sooner rather than later.
Slowly, she pushed off the ground and stretched out with a large yawn. It had been a nice chat, but all good things have to eventually come to an end. "I'm sure you will. I'll be near Pride Rock for a while, if you ever want to come find me." She smiled warmly and patted his paw with her own in a friendly gesture. "See you around, Habu." With that, she slowly turned around and padded away into the warm afternoon, off in the direction of the closest source of water.

"Goodbye," he called after her as she walked off, noticing that the direction was not directly to Priderock. However, it was not his place to be nosy about it and he knew that. She would go whenever she was ready, and any sooner than she said before brought truth to what she said.
With that, Habu stretched out his legs and wiggled his toes, getting comfortable to settle in for a little while. He'd go back home soon, but for now he was happy where he was.
