Ki stepped up to the waterfall as he heard the battle raging on. Apparently no one had been hurt, though. That was good, though it probably wouldn't last. He tried to think of a way to enter, then flinched as he felt the tree being pulled up. Well, there was his answer.

Ki raised his staff, then he was instantly gone. However, in the battlefield the tree morphed into him. Ki quickly moved to the side and observed. Though a thought instantly came to him, Was I able to do that before?
While entering that way seemed natural, he couldn't recall ever considering morphing from a dying plant... But, those thoughts were for another time. Just now he had to deal with the heat.

Ki looked down at the spirit's warning and noticed a few shruikens a little distance off. While he thought he would have sensed them before being electrocuted, Ki couldn't be too sure. I will observe this battle, he communicated back. I don't plan on getting hurt. With a large jump, Ki was near the waterfall and a bit farther from the flames. Thank you, though, he added.

Runa sighed deeply, You don't understand, Ki. Runa cares deeply for you... Chan knows this most likely. If he finds you he could easily use you against me. I can't be worrying about you, my mind must stay focused on the battle-which won't happen if I have to save you....Just be careful, she thought to him and looked upwards at Chan quickly hearing him speaking to her. She looked up startled as the two Chans appeared on both sides of her and she brought up more wind to swirl around herself protecting where her core was at. Shoot! I stayed here too long, she thought.

Ki shrugged, though he feared a bit for Runa if the spirit kept this up. You won't have to save me, he told her, quickly. I know what I'm doing. But it doesn't look like you do. Focus on the battle, not me. He had his staff ready, should anything happen, though he oddly felt that, on the off chance that something bad did occur, the staff wouldn't be necessary...

Ki shook his head and thought, Yet you continue. I don't doubt your abilities. I doubt your sanity at times, though. He laughed to himself, slightly sadly, and found something ironic in what the spirit had said to him. What she had called him... Though she was partially correct for the time being. With this thought, Ki realized what was happening to him.

If you allow Runa to be hurt by dividing your attention... Ki didn't finish the thought, but answered her question. It's just an old prophecy that I didn't quite believe. Apparently it's real, and related to the other prophecies that surround me. As you may or may not know, I had troubles in my former land. That is why I left. He left it at that, for now.

Chan stood there watching them talk to each other with their minds, "You are right Runa i have only used a small amount of my energy and ablities." "Yes i saving the best of the ablities until the end, it will knock my out for a very long time but i will have two demons and a dragon and possibly a goddess to protect me from these spirits. I wonder if they really know what i am able to do?" He thought to himself laughing. He raised his hand once again making the pillars grow back. "I dont want to push myself, Charon, what should i do?" "I dont care what you do Chan, just remember the playing feild. Remember i am everywhere now. In the trees,ground, buildings,and walls. Also dont forget you have my brother there ready and waiting for you to use him." "I fear your brother he doesnt always listen when i tell him to i worry he will try and do something." "He will be fine i will kill him if he tries to hurt you." Chan smiled and nodded slightly.

Runa materialized completly in front of Chan, normally she wouldn't risk it but she wanted to show him she wasn't planning on attacking at the moment. "Chan? Why...why are we fighting? For the life within me I can't figure it out...It just feels like something that needs to be done...I know you still know regret and sorrow...for things that have happened in the past...but why go on feelings? Why can't there be peace? Why have my sister and I been drawn out and forced by powers I don't even understand to do battle with you? Runa still feels great sorrow over losing you. And this battle seems so futile...so why...", she asked looking to him with her unanwsered questions. Crap, she thought to herself as she narrowed her eyes, Runa's emotions have rubbed off on me...I feel as she would...or almost.
