In celebrity news...Rock star Freddie Mercury, after a surprising resurrection and transformation into a mermaid, has wed Soren DeGali today in a rather untraditional double-ring ceremony.
From left to right: Memai Shirosaki, officiator; Brian May, groomsman; Fairy Feller Fancy, best person; Soren DeGali, groom; Mer-Freddie, bride; John Deacon, Transvestite of Honor; Nonna, Maid of Honor; Arielphotart, bridesmaid; Umja, bridesmaid. Front row: Popo-licious, ring bearer, Scaramouche Fandango, flower girl, Roger Taylor, flower girl.
The ceremony was held outdoors. The bridesmaids wore dresses of ultramarine blue, while the flower girls were dressed to complement each other. The bride wore tinfoil, while the groom wore rope. Until the "I Do," the groom also wore a piece of duct tape over his mouth, to perhaps match his DIY bride. After the picture, the duct tape was replaced.
When asked about the ceremoy, John Deacon shrugged. "Weirder stuff has happened. Like when Freddie came back from the dead. But it went well, considering we had a best person with a spear who kept poking Soren, Freddie getting hir makeup done by a monkey, Roger acting like a two-year-old, our other flower girl possibly being a demon from the deepest pits of Hell, our ring bearer constantly making eyes at Roger, and the fact that I'm in a dress... AGAIN..."
Brian May had no comments, just a deep, deep sigh of relief.
When asked about her role in the wedding, the flower girl with a tail (This paper is not sure which one it was, given how skewed gender identities are here) ate a few flower petals and giggled at the sight of De Gali. Then she asked where Roger got off to.
Freddie says that the cats vote tonight whether or not Soren gets to live in the mansion, and if he does, whether or not he gets to sleep in the bed.
