He shook his head, lighting a cigarette with the flame he could still manipulate and taking another puff, thinking. "Well, I suppose it probably happen when you, Torment, called me to help you escape from some prison. I got there and your ghostly damn form took me in, when I got to the lab, I passed out, and when I came to I was back in my office. Only a guess though." He ignored the sarcasm, taking another puff and offering up the pack to Torment and Kalie.

Torment also refused the cigarettes, he smoked enough without having to resort to cigarettes, "Soulscour indeed. Vince, I daresay you got tricked by nothing more than a brain without a body. It seems he had stolen your body, I can only hope he did some very awful stuff to it. As for preventing this from happening again, I'm not rightly sure how we could do such a thing. I guess if the target he was trying to take over had more willpower than a worker drone it could be prevented." He paused for a moment, not exactly liking what would come next, "The only way to prevent it from happening again is to kill him and destroy all my clones, undead, Images, golems, and...even...other past consciousnesses."

*Biting her bottom lip, Kalie looked back and forth between the two. They couldn't be serious, just go 'nix' all of them. Not after watching what the last two had done, one of which was still alive..somewhere.*

"How many clones are we talking about.. the first nearly had both of us dead, and this one came close, with only a borrowed body. I haven't seen any just 'erase' themselves from the threads of life willingly...Do we even have the strength needed to take all them out? Without dying in the process.."

He sat down, folding his legs over eachother and thinking for a minute. "Well, what if we didn't have to kill Kargin and Inferi?" Just a thought, though Soulscour would definately die.

He looked away, not really able to believe he was saying this, "If some have fallen into being unloyal, others could follow. The metaphysical representation of one of my past consciousnesses that is now Soulscour might never have done as such had the first Soulscour never come to be. Even if we kill this one there's no stopping another from rising, even limiting powers. I'm far too smart to be limited by any limitations I could put on myself. I might be able to spare Regret and Kargin, but thats about it...."

*Looking to Vince she nodded, not turning to catch Torment's expression from the corner of her eye. Covering Torment's hand with her own, Kalie let out a heavy sigh..*

"I'd like to not do away with Kargin or Regret, and it would make things easier, to only keep tabs, but I think future cases may be the least of our trouble..right now there is a current one, lacking in a body, but not in souls. He adopted your own method for staying alive...only tweaked a little."

Vince blinked, closing his eyes with a sigh and rubbing his forehead more as he smoked. His mannerisms were horrible. He sighed and stood, thinking and nodding. "Good idea, but what do we do when he find him?"

The Doctor let out a hearty laugh, "Somehow I think this kid simply can't die, I mean twice today he wasted himself and he's here conversing on fighting, tracking, klling, terminating." Torment glared at him, "I'd do it not by choice, but by force. I'm not a killer anymore." The Doctor took a step back, almost seeming afraid of Torment, "Sorry, just making a comment. Though I am quite sure that Neotian would lend further aid if some sort of exchange could be made." Torment looked at him, a bit skeptical, "How exactly do you think you can speak for your ruler?" He quickly replied, "Well being his brother for, oh, all my life lets me know these things."
