There was a slight pause before Kami replied, as if thinking about how to answer. Oh, she new a place all right. The question was, did she want to tell him where she lived? Of course this was not just because she saw Vega as a little off in the head but also because she didn’t know if she wanted to sentence another person to living in close quarters with Zac. Then again, she wasn’t too harmless as long as he kept that sword locked away from her. “I guess I know of a place… There are quite a few rooms available at the apartment complex I live in.” In other words, all but four. People had the tendency to take their bags and go after meeting Zac (some of them had to pack their bags as well, but usually Zac scared them away before they could do much unpacking). The landlord only stayed there because it was his job, and it was the only place Cal could get an affordable apartment, so she had no choice but to stay.
“You are going to allow another human in the building? That’s just great.”
“Quiet, imp. If I so wanted I could have given you to Zac, and just think about what she could do to you.”

Vega had bowed in utter happiness, smiling at the hesitant Kami. "Oh thank you, Miss Kami. I can finally have a warm bed to sleep in, instead of the harsh cold nights out here in the trees." Vega had pulled out a coin purse, yes, a coin purse. He opened it, and held it upside down, he shook it, and still nothing but a few lint balls had been ejected from the purse. "I don't have any money."
"You don't have any money? How unprepared and stupid is that?" Asta answered coyly.
Vega looked at her dully, and held his arms at his waists. "If I had brought money, it would have been useless in this nation. I can't just magically change my money into the money here at Gaia." He sighed, and put the purse back into his pocket. "I guess I should get me a job soon."
