She....couldn't help but stare at him, bluntly and very obviously. Her large eyes just seemed unreadable. What would she like?? children? magic? Pretzel?....it clicked. He was talking about the pretzel of course. Moron. She chided herself inwardly for her stupidity.
"Uh...just a plain one." she said rubbing the back of her head, as she looked away from him. She realized after a moment she had stared at him for along time. How embaressing. What would Ter think....of her spending time with his brother.....and also picking out clothes for him?? She didn't think he would be very impressed.
"....Um.." she started and then stopped, she would wait until they got the food. "never mind."

Ligeia got her plain pretezel and one of the ones with the cinnamon sugar ones for himself before also getting a couple various ones. Vorel would like these he was sure, got some cheese sauce for either Zyanya if she wanted it or Vorel, "Would you like a drink?" He asked of her after getting himself some juice. He debated for a moment getting a drink for Vorel before deciding that even their largest drink would be to small plus he was sitting next to a water fountain so he would be fine in that area.

"Water is fine." she responded her eyes glancing back to Ligeia's current attire. Skirt. It sent chills up her spine. Though in her comics there were lots of cross dressers, she guessed it was because it was only a drawing that it didn't bother her.. she had nothing against...gays.. but then again she wasn't entirely sure Ligeia was gay.
She would wait to spring that question once they moved away from the vendor. No point in embaressing him.

Ligeia paid for the food then turned to her, giving her a smile before he led the way over to where they could sit down. There was a free table near the edge of the food court, a little away from the others so their wings wouldn't chance hitting any of the other people who were sitting down and he sat there. The food was placed on the table and the bag of cloths at his feet.
"They have some of the best pretezels ever. I will come all the way here just to get one." Not that it was to hard when one had wings but at the same time it showed how good he thought they were.

Nodding she bit into the pretzel, the texture being slightly tough and yet soft at the same time. Chewing she stared at Ligeia. More nad more she was coming to the conclusion he had to be gay. A bi guy wouldn't dress like a girl....or would he? She set up several senarios in her head and came to the conclusion that it depended on who was the dominant in the relationship who ended up being the the male. Though...this conclusion irked her as well. So...because she wanted to be the dominant one....did that make her a guy?
NO. She had to actually shake her head at that one. For one...she wasn't bi. Or a lesbian. Her...'date' with Ter was proof of that. Same with their first make out session. Her face took on a slight crimson as she recalled that memory, before she finally snapped out of it. Taking a sip from her drink she sighed a bit.
"So...be honest with me...are you gay?" she asked with a tilt of her head.

Ligeia had a moment where he sorta inhaled a bite of pretezel then started to cough heavily until he was able to get it down with some juice, "Wha?" That had a question that was both out of the blue and not one that he had at all been expecting from the girl.
He shook his head, "No... well... I don't know." He said, "The closest thing I have ever had to a date was when we all went out to the movies and I only have friends no boy or girl friends so... I don't know." He was flushed some which shown rather brightly against his pale skin. He lifted his dark eyed gaze to Zyanya, "Why do you ask? Just cause of how I dress?" He asked of her.

Lowering her pretzel she looked at him intelectually. Like she was analyzing him.
"That is one reason. They way you act is also very femenine. But the combination of the apparell and your method of speaking, and holding yourself makes for a combination of gay man." She explained.
"Or at least bi, not sure which suits you more." she replied with a shrug.

Ligeia looked down at his food before giving a laugh, "I will go with Bi then, that sounds more like it." After all it wasn't as if he were completely opposed to the idea of going out with a girl or anything. He'd just... seemed better at making friends then making... more then that so far.
"Hrm." He seemed a bit lost in thought now as if thinking over her words.

With a sigh she took another bite of her pretzel and chewed slowly. After swallowing it she leaned on her elbow and waved her pretzel at Ligeia.
"Now...you see there is the problem. YOU. Are oblivious. And my brother is hopeless when it comes to ...anything!" she said in an agitated tone, her pretezel still waving around in the air like she was batting away some hundreds of invisible insects.
"you say you don't have anyone you have been 'more' with. But you fail to see that...there is someone who is really interested in you right now." she concluded taking another huge bite of her pretzel. Man...were all gay guys this stupid?

Ligeia blinked at the treat that was being brandished at him before his eyes widened a little bit, "Wha...? Wait what?" Hold on was she telling him that Chath was...? Wow she was right was a rather oblivious wasn't he? He'd just thought that Chath was being really friendly with him... He tilted his head and seemed to be regoing over his times of hanging out with Chath then his cheeks reddened again, embaressed that he had been so... dumb that he hadn't noticed.
"Ahhh. I see." He said.

Raising an eyebrow she looked at him.
"Ah I see? Is that all you have to say?" she said with a snideness that only matched her attitude. "Now...can you guess why?? i have been trying to make you look more like a guy?" she inquired in a bluntly fashion. Her stare never leaving sight of Ligeia in an instant. She blinked slowly her fingers holding onto her pretzel rather hard.

Why was it that he felt as if he were in one of Raven's classes all of a sudden? He fidgited a little under Zyanya's stare, "Huh? Oh. You said that I looked like a..."
He went quiet. No wait... no. No surely Chath didn't... Oh crud...
"He doesn't think that I am a girl does he?" He asked even though he was pretty sure he already knew the answer to the question. It was just an automatic reaction to voice outloud the thought going through his mind at this very moment.

Raising her hand she made a sound. "Ding. DING." The sound of a winners bell.
"And can we tell him what he has won? One very confused newt of a boy who thinks he is crushing 'normally' on a girl." She said with a wave of her hand before finally putting bother her arms down. Despite her snideness and being rude she looked rather concerned.
"Look...though my brother and I may not get along, I am still worried about him. He seems to live in a world were nothing bad can happen. I would hate for him to realize the girl he had been crushing on all this time had been a boy. Not only a boy, but an older boy, who never clarified his gender in the first place." She stated a bit harshly.
"think of this. Wouldn't you feel betrayed if someone you were really close to suddenly became something different? That they never bothered to tell you otherwise?"

"How was I supposed to..." Ligeia trailed off then lowered his gaze, hands coming to rest in his lap. He knew his gender, his brother did, and his father did but... it never really occurred to him that nobody else would. He'd not...
"I didn't mean to... I don't want to hurt Chath." He murmured quietly.

She could tell he was hurting. Perhaps she was being too rough on him?
"Look. Lets just say it is bother parties fault." She said gently, she couldn't blame it entirely on Ligeia, Chath .... was a moron after all.
"look, all you need to do is clear this up with him. Before he decides to take the relationship a step further. He can't be kept in the dark forever, and weither or not you remain friends or not ...well that is just something you need to let fate decide." She said a bit more empahtetically. She had been a mess when she tried to confess to Ter. Things worked out though right?
