Fushigi_Tsubasa Phantom Gremlin!? Yeah i just recently watched again those cute evil lil critters (well apart from Gizmo) Gremlins 1 and 2 ^^ but in Gremlins 2 there is indeed a POTO Gremlin ^_^ one of the evil gremlins in the science lab gets a faceful of acid thrown by another fellow Gremlin ^^' then he he hides his disfigered face with a mask. Whooot go Phantom Gremlin lol Can anyone remember this? he also gets another scene near the end when he's playing the organ and his mask then gets removed by a female gremlin. Anyway i thought i share you this random bit of POTO sorry me couldn't find any screenshots and i'm not insane. LOL!! I have to see that now! I've seen the first one but never Gremlins 2. That sounds hilarious though.

Reference #1: When I was younger, there was a show called "Wishbone". It was about a boy and his dog, and the situation that the boy was in, the dog related it to a book or movie. They did PotO, and the dog was Raoul. lol oh, it was based on Leroux's book I think.
Reference #2: Buffy the Vampire Slayer - ok, so this isn't a direct reference, but it's close. lol In the Sixth season, the town of Sunnydale gets possessed by a music demon, who makes every one brust into song. Anyhoo, there is one line that goes like this: "And we are caught in the fire, the point of no return..." I didn't catch it at first, but when I heard it again, I freaked.

(That might not be exactly how the line goes, but close enough....) So, yeah. Reference to Claude Rains Erik there....

I just realised that now. I just always thought they were ripping off the European plague "The Black Death". Now I have to find that movie and watch it just to scream and annoy the hell out of my mother.

In the Buffy one, I was like..."OHMYGAWD! A PHANTOM REFERENCE!" I still wish I knew what Erik looked like in the Wishbone episode. It can't have been too too bad or I would've shat (not a real word, but I like it) my pants...I was teratophobic at that time. That was my first taste of PotO, and it got me hooked. And it has made me forever regard Erik as the best male name ever.

Well, this is more of a Michael Crawford reference, and is specially to Youko-chan.
I happen to be living an MC episode, because I found out today my mother has a hernia and has to have surgery. *cry*

Ryuuki-chan I remember Wishbone! heart I saw that episode too. Alexis Of Shadow I saw both of those! In the Buffy one, I was like..."OHMYGAWD! A PHANTOM REFERENCE!" YAY!!!!!!!!!! At least I'm not the only one who watched Wishbone. I'm so happy! mrgreen Buffy rocks!! Talk about kicking Vampire butt, and in heels too! lol Anyhoo, I've been searching for a Hallowe'en costume for this year (I'm doing Belle, in her blue peasant dress, from "Bauty and the Beast") and I came across this:

.....phreaky, huh?

Not exactly a reference per se, but in the newspaper today, I saw the word "Viscount" and the name "Erik"...on pages facing eachother if I remember correctly. It was strange.

Alexis Of Shadow Youko-chan Aww. xD You poor thing. That's funny, though. "Next thing I know, I'm being bent at very akward positions, for a looong amount of time, so they can see into my ear with the proper light, to distinguish, that, yes, in fact, I AM bleeding..."
Uhh... *inserts random, idiotic contribution* Uhh... I was really bored.... so I was watching Teen Titans... and that one guy, Slate (is that his name? I can never figure out wtf they're saying.... >>; ) got his mask ripped off.... and... he was all ugly and... dead-looking.
And... cadavery.
And... it was like Erik.
And stuff.
...yeah. o_o;;;;; Holy s**t! Slade looks like Erik!? I did not know that! Somebody must send me a picture! I always wondered what he looked like under that...thing. I was like "I wonder if he's deformed? He would rock if he was." Well, the verdict is now official. He rocks. That show creeps me out though. Raven has a very similar personality to my character Lex, and Raven's mother (Arella) has the same name as Lex's mentor-ish person in this story I made about her, (which I still have yet to write out). It's kinda crazy. And I made my characters back when I was twelve. I didn't know about Teen Titans until I was around fourteen, and I didn't see the show or know anything about the characters or their names until I was fifteen-ish. I was channeling the creators of Teen Titans xd . Oh my gosh, I remember that episode of Teen Titians!! I thought the same thing, that was so awesome. ^__^ I'll try and find you a picture. heart heart heart ~Olivia~

In the last (12th) volume of Gravitation (shonen-ai manga) they mentioned that they were getting afraid and someone said it wasn't as if they were in "The Phantom of the Paradise".

sopranophantomista01 In Les Miserables, there is a line that goes "Phantom faces in the window, phantom shadows on the floor". I was going to mention that, but I thought it would sound too over obsessive. Heh. Yep, that's me. Spongebob Squarepants. In the episode where he has stinky breath, he thinks everyone thinks he's ugly. So he goes and hides in his library that has stalagmites (cave). He's playing and organ and Patrick comes in and he says "Don't look at me, I'm too hideous" or something like that.
