"So... your not with either of them...?" He asked trying to make sense of it aloud, "Are they close friends of yours then? I couldn't imagine why someone would do something like that for someone they hardly know."
He mentally kicked himself before saying, "I'm sorry. Am I being too intrusive?"

She shook her head.
"No not at all..I was actually close friends with one of them...I became great friends with the other while I was pregnant and therefter. I'm still in the children's lives, so that's what matters to me..."
She didn't let on she was tempted to hurt one of them for being such a child since he was a vampire of 400....at least.
Getting back to his first question she grinned. "No I'm not with any of them...Still single even though I'm a mother of two... I just live with them and raise the children with them."

"I see. It must be difficult with 3 people raising them. I could imagine just how confused the kids would be. Even I'm a bit confused still." He comment with a smile.
"Although I guess it's easier in some areas as well..."

"They know I'm their mother and both men are their father. They're young enough to where they haven't questioned it yet....So I guess we're safe from the questions for now."
She took a deep breath and inhaled the night air.
"What about you? Any lady of interest in your life?"

"Sadly, no. I don't get out often enough I guess." He said with a shrug. "All the relationships I've had have ended badly as well, which can put me off a bit." He explained tugging on his hair a little.
It was a nerves thing. He never did feel terribly comfortable talking about himself, especially with a woman. The fact that nerves was kicking in, was a sign that the alcohol no longer had any effect on him.

She yawned again and adjusted her hair a little.

Jean chuckled and shrugged. "Perhaps we have." He agreed with a smile.
"Are you sure you don't want to go home or anything? You look exhausted." He commented noting her yawn. He wasn't sure if it was actually from being tired or because she was bored, but all the same they couldn't walk around all night.

She said with a teasing smile and decided to take a direction that she hoped led to the city. At least then she had an idea of how to get home when she decided too.

"Was there much to spoil?" he asked playfully with a slight chuckle.
He'd been following her for a while, not sure of the area. He didn't even know the city layout all that well.
He really needed to get out more.

"Not really but why head home when the night still begins?"
She smiled and found a smaller road and looked ahead. Before was the city, all sparkly and well lit against the night sky. She went down the road.

"Good point." The frenchman said hugging his coat to him again. His feet were actually getting a little tired now, though the rest of him was as alive as ever.
He gazed at the city lights and sighed un-noticeably. First time out in ages and his feet wanted a rest.

"I do hope you're not trying to frighten him," came a voice from behind them. A seemingly friendly yet arrogant smile graced a mouth that belonged to a face. Or rather a half face as the perfect profile that wasn't shielded by a mass of gold hair.
Asher stood there, a cig in his fingertips, dressed in jeans and leather jacket. His free hand was in a pocket.
Raven turned at the voice and raised an eyebrow at the vampire. "If anyone does any scaring it's you, Asher."

Jean spun around and frowned. How long had he been there?
"She already managed to do that once already." He comment with a slight smile, glancing at Raven for a split second.
"So who's this?" He asked keeping his eyes on Asher. He brushed some of his hair out of his face so he could see the vampire properly.

Asher blinked. "Did she now?" He hadn't been long standing there but even he grew tired from flight.
Raven rolled her eyes. "Jean, this is Asher. One of the twins' fathers. Asher do you know how much of an annoyance you can be?"
He gave a boyish grin. "Yes I do...and it's half the fun."
"Half the fun until I threaten you with a stake..."
He scowled playfully at her only to get a grin.

Jean nodded politely when they were introduced.
He couldn't help but let a soft giggle slip while the two bickered a little.
"So is he... are you a vampire?" He started asking Raven before redirecting the question to Asher, feeling it a little rude to ask someone else in front of him. He reach his hand up to his neck to where Raven had bitten him without realizing.
