We have something that's close to that shade; I asked my mom if I could buy a pack just to try it out, but she said no. Ah, well, I'm nearing 18 years old, meaning I'm technically not a child anymore and don't have to take her word as law. xd

Anyway, I just noticed that Aoki Takao-sensei is a bit like Kai himself. Nothing much is known about him save for his birthplace; his fellow mangaka don't hear much from him; and he's made only one public appearance so far (at a Beyblade Tournament). And there's only one pic of him that I know of that is available to the public... and it's a teeny grayscale pic found near the back of Volume 14! Sheesh...
But whatever. Anyone have a speculation on what Kai's fave food is? 'Cause I read somewhere that it's steak, but there's nothing in the anime to back that up save for that one episode where he's eating with Voltaire/Soichirou...

I'm not sure about steak but Wikipedia says he does I think. But it would be interesting if Kai did like steak.

If it's chocolate cake or brownies, then I've got a headstart. "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach," or so the saying goes, ne? Well, I'm a pretty good cook now (so much so that sometimes when I'm back home, Mom leaves the cooking to me), and I specialize in baked goods, particularly the two I mentioned. xd
But if he liked something that was not meat, I can take care of that,too! The first dish I learned to cook (aside from steamed rice, eggs, bacon, and sausage) was chop suey, using the tinyest amount of meat (more on squid or fish, but that's not really meat). xd
Okay, why am I talking about my culinary skills? LOL

True, but then, there's no challenge in finding what Tyson likes, seeing as he likes practically everything! xd Apply the same principle to Kai, and you've got yourself a culinary mystery: what would Kai like? -shrug- That's just the way I see it, though...
