Aphrodite stood and began walking. "Could you um... direct me please. I don't feel like running into any more trees." She said, "No I don't think so. Just as long as you eat healthy foods." She kept walking heading straight for a tree.

Kuoni rolled her eyes at herself. She was being stupid again. She turned her head to call Aphrodite over. With a yelp, she leapt over and grabbed Aphrodite's skirt to keep her from going further and into the tree. "Not that way. Sorry." She said, giving a gentle pull and taking the place next to the anthro. "I'll be right here." She said, licking her friend's hand and starting forward. She thought the place was this way.
"Healthy foods. I'm sure there's lots of healthy food there. Is there anything else I should do for them right now?"

Aphrodite staggered when Kuoni pulled her. "Okay. It's alright." She said patting Kuoni's head and walking beside her, "I'm sure there's lots too. Hm I don't know. I've never had pups before. Aisling or you mom would be the ones I'd tell you to ask." She paused then shrugged. "I guess don't do anything to stress yourself and don't exert yourself."

'Pft. Like I'm going to ask Aisling about raising puppies. Ask Fiorenza...?' Kuoni sighed heavily. 'Don't stress or exert myself?' "It's a bit late for that..." She muttered. She had been walking for days now. "I can't wait for someplace cozy to rest."

Aphrodite chuckled and shook her head. "Well don't do it anymore.... or at least not too much." She said with a nod, "Yeah well I can't wait to freshen up. I probably look horrible. I know my skirt has several rips in it." She sighed as she thought back to when she stumbled around in some prickly bushes while searching for Kuoni.

Kuoni nodded slowly. "I'll try not to." She said. She then flattened her ears, looking up at Aphrodite with a guilt ridden look. "I'm sorry." The skirt was indeed torn and dirty.

Aphrodite shook her head and patted Kuoni. "It's okay. If I really was smart I wouldn't have gotten lost or I would have had someone come with me." She said with a small laugh, "Then I wouldn't be in such a horrible looking state."

Kuoni nuzzled her head into the hand. "But you knew anyone else would have made you stop looking by now." She walked on in silence a little more. Her next words were spoken softly, but full of feeling. "Thanks for not giving up on me."

"I would have found someone who would follow me." Aphrodite said smiling, "Your welcome. I would never give up on a friend and it just so happens that you're my only friend." She laughed and continued walking. She was quickly approaching a root jutting out of the ground.

"Your only friend?" Kuoni looked up in suprise. "How can that be?" She was really suprised by this, and didn't notice the big root until the last second. "Root!" She yelped, giving Aphrodite's poor skirt another tug.

Aphrodite shook her head and then was jerked to the side. "Goodness! I'm just getting jerked and pushed around by you." She teased, "Yes you're my only friend. I really haven't met anyone else and some say I'm a little too self centered."

"Sorry." She muttered, though there was a small smile on her maw. She felt bad about what Aphrodite had gone through for her, and this bit of teasing wasn't helping much. But the small smile was a start.
She shook her head. "You've never been self-centered around me. If you were that self-centered, you wouldn't be out here." Kuoni kept her eyes forward, determined to pay more attention to what was coming in their path.

"It's fine..... as long as you don't destroy my poor skirt." She replied before an idea struck her, "I know how you can repay me! You can get me a new skirt." She nodded and mentally congratulated herself. "Yeah well my pack mates say that's because we're friends..... good friends." She said. Up ahead in their path was a fallen tree.

Kuoni nodded. "I can do that. I'll make sure it's the most comfy skirt you'll ever have." He tail wagged. "I'm glad we're good friends."
Kuoni spotted the fallen tree and groaned. It looked kinda big. "There's a tree in our way. We'll either have to go around or over." As they got closer, she saw the brush was awfully thick. "Hmm. Looks like we're going over..." She thanked whatever had made her start this way before her belly had gotten too big. She should make it over.

Aphrodite chuckled. "Alright. I expect to get a very comfy skirt from you." She said with a nod, "I'm glad we are too." She listened to Kuoni about the tree and nodded. "Alright." She said approaching it. She ended up going too far and bumping into it. She then felt the tree and frowned. She then felt around for Kuoni. Once she found her friend she picked her up with a grunt. "I guess you are pregnant...... My goodness are you heavy." She said with a gasp as she set Kuoni down on the fallen tree, "Remind....... *gasp for breath* to never do that again." She then leaned against the tree to catch her breath and get back her strength.
