Metabolic Nothing like the good ol' US of A. It sucks, but remember that most of the world, and ALL of the non-Western world don't tolerate us unless they have to.

i did it! eek i started a gay-straight alliance at my school! eek my mom kept asking me if i was gay, but i said i didn't like anyone...which is mostly true... sweatdrop

I had the same experience in trying to find the GLBT student club on campus. No one ever announced that they had moved their office to another floor. stare Keep looking, you'll find them. It's creepy because I spent so much time llooking for them and one day I literally bumped into them at a gay play. Never saw that coming. rolleyes

i have a GSA @ my school its growing every couple of weeks ^^ we have more members than we thought we would ^^.
we even have our own website ^^, i can't remeber it right now but we do have one its cool......our president is leaving next year and my friend will take over, he's VP. at m,y school people don't care if your gay and are ascared to ask cause they feeli its embarassing or something XP.

I think think that GSA is a great idea, and i wish i had one at my school.
But like a few other people have said, I go to a catholic school, so that wouldn't work out.
Last year, there was an openly gay Senior at my school.
He was totally awsome.
He was on the cheer team and sometoerh stuff.
My school wouldn't let him preform at the pep-rallys sometimes and they wouldn't let him go to Home Comming.
I really really dislike my school for that and the Catholic chuch for that.

My school just got one. But almost no one goes. A friend I hadn't seen for about a year was in there and all he did was hug me from behind and kiss me...I told him I didn't like him that way and he said something like, "Oh, ok," and still hugged me. Then I told him his breath smelled and he let go. Another friend of mine who's bi but more lesbian ran up to me after the meeting and jumped on me. She is twenty pounds heavier than me and I fell over and hit my head on a chair. My GSA experiences are not that fun... stare

If the boy wants to cheer they should damn well let him. So much for encouraging students to support school spirit. Izumi: That's just downright scary. Though I won't go as far to say don't go or try to improve it (after all it just started, right?), just avoid the overbearing, clingy and/or bodily harm-inducing people. And by avoid, I mean run like the wind.
