Amador yawned as he walked the borders of the Order's lands with Ajax at his side. Since he had taken over the Order for Iro he has been thankful for Ajax's presense. The male was much wiser then him and he was glad to have his wisdom.
Almost half way through the patrol Amador was really wishing Iro hadn't been greedy in how much land he had claimed when he heard the shout of a female not far from them. Turning his gaze to Ajax he gave him a questioning look. "Did you hear that?"

With a very quick nod, Ajax was already at his top speed (which wasn't exactly the fastest, but still good for his age) towards the female which sounded in distress. Thank goodness for the endourance he built up with having 2 mates, or else he might have had to stop half way to take a breather. Once he saw the black lioness his next responce was to puff up and look around for the attacker, but there was no one in sight. After he stopped running a few feet from the lioness, he used his other senses to confirm his suspesions, and yes. He was right. The three were the only lions around.
"Dear sirs!" Kronik protested in a slightly high pitched voice, "You not only scared me but you seemed to have scared off my friend! We were playing a very one sided game of tag!" She furrowed her brow looking at both of the lions, waiting for an appology which she certainly wasn't getting from the black lion panting so hard.

Amador kept up easily with Ajax as his youth and regular exercise kept his muscles built up and strong. When the black lioness came in view he tensed a bit and searched about for the reason for her screaming but he saw nothing. Stopping next Ajax, he kept his head high and his shoulders back with his tail held high in a gesture of authority he has never quite been able to get rid of since his time as a prince in Rose Petal.
"Excuse us Miss. We heard your screams and thought there was trouble."

The black lioness flexed her muscles a bit annoyed that she still had not gotten an appology, but after a second thought about it and started cracking up laughing. Through the laughter she waved her paw at them to say 'just a second'.
After regainning her composure with a huge smile on her face she shook her head, allowing her hair to wave a little in her face over her lightening shaped markings over her eyes.
"That is so galant... However no, I was just chasing a humming bird and having some fun. So sorry... I didn't even realize this was a pride." The tinyest flint of fear did not even cross her mind that she was possibly in danger having come trumped onto another pride's lands without premission. What would they do? Run her off? Oh no... Prides are dumb.
Ajax was honestly disappointed no one was attacking the very strange lioness. Though her markings were extraordinary, she seemed quite annoying he could have used the exersize and something of value to take back to KC and D-Fly. He shook out his white mane after the older male caught his breath and spoke,
"I see.. Well then, no harm no foul. Just a bit of a run. Right?" He looked over to his leader, honestly hoping that the younger one wouldn't get angered. That stance was a habit and attitude hard to break.

Amador quirked a brow as the female began to laugh. He wasn't sure how this was funny but she apparently found it hilarious. However despite her laughter he was fairly glad she was unharmed and in no danger. He'd fought before but he didn't really want to get into a battle and then end up being run out of the pride he was supposed to be running.
Amador glanced over to Ajax then looked back to the lioness and nodded. "Yes. No one was hurt so there is no problem."

Kronik watched the two's unspoken interaction. "Is this a Pride or isn't it. If it is I can't tell which one of you is the 'high and mighty' King." She spoke with great distaste for the entire system on her tounge. She was way too hyper to stand in one place as she spoke so she began pacing back and forth thinking about her words both before and after she spoke them.
The elder male was very proud of the once prince for ignoring his urge to run this lioness off. Perhaps he could learn. With a little flick of his tailfeather at her question however Ajax was a bit put off, they were afterall supposed to be recruiting just such type of lion. Until Amador needed him however, he would remain silent.

Now Amador was irked. Being from a pride and being a prince he was not against prides but he did see the reason why it was better to have a simple leader instead of a king. It gave the followers of said leader a choice whether they wished to follow said leader or not but hearing a stranger dis on prides and kings never did set well with him. "This is no pride Miss." He said the last word with a bit of a hiss before he continued on. "This is the Freedom Order. Ruled by no king but lead by two pairs of competent leaders out to show that kings and queens are not needed to run a successful society."

Kronik nodded, honestly impressed. "I see, well I am looking for a place to sort of call a home. I tend to sometimes get myself into trouble and would like a homebase to hide." Perhaps it would be too early upon knowing these strangers to tell them of her 'ups and downs'.
"Well I am Kronik, and are you one of the pairs that run this place?"
Immediatly Ajax looked over at Amador with wide eyes and took a step away from him. "No, miss, we are not... We both have mates of our own. I am Ajax, and my mates are KC and D-Fly" Sure, he'd get a funky look, but he loved to females that both loved him and each other, surely there was nothing wrong with that.

Amador sat down upon his haunches still holding the 'royal' pose even while sitting. This female was certainly starting to get on his nerves but Iro and Cygni would murder him if he chased off a possible new Order member. He would tolerate for now. "I am Amador, one of the four who lead the pride. My mate is Altaria, she leads by my side. The main leaders are not within the Order's borders at the moment. They are Iro and Cygni and you shall meet them when they return from their journey."

Kronik looked at Amador and nodded, her respect for him was growing. But where had these others gone off to? What business could they have? Is that why they have a backup? Would they even come back? These are questions that only time could answer, which was something that went very slow for her.
"I see, well then... I suppose I could stay for a little while and see how things go. If I like it, would I be allowed to bring in more people? It's what I do best! Ajax what do you do here?"
Ajax was going over the positives and negatives to having Kronik here, and was taken offguard by her question. "Oh, I am the lead warrior. I take pride in keeping everyone within these boundaries safe. And when more present themselves I will train a group of soilders to protect our Freedom." He was obviously very proud of his role in all of this, and left out that this was a personal favor to Cygni.

Amador listened to Kronik's words and nodded to her question. More lions would be good he just hoped the ones she brought were not as annoying as her. "Yes. More lions and lionesses willing to join the order would be a great assest to us. Our numbers are few as of now so the more you can persuade the better. We have been searching for quite a while for more willing to join but to no avail." Amador replied as he made a mental note to speak with Ajax alone about this Kronik. He had to know what the aged warrior thought. Whether she would be an assest or a liability. He thought of her as a liability but his love for his fathers pride still clouded his judgement in matters concerning lions that hated royalty. Why Iro and Cygni had wanted him to come lead with them he could still not understand.

Kronik nodded vigorously. Finally something to do! This place was getting really boring. No one else seemed to be able to keep up with her. "Well thank you, I'll bring more in to the best of my ability." After a little victory skip in a bit of a circle, she stopped back facing Amador and Ajax. "I shall start tomorrow, so if in the morning I'm not around, do not be suprised. For I do not sleep for many many days on end. Show me to the sleeping quarters?" She was anxious to meet the mates of these males, they had to be more interesting.
Ajax smirked a little as he nodded and turned away walking back to the caves. In his mind he was imagening KC and D-Fly's reaction to her. They would either love her or hate her. D-Fly, he figured would be more of the latter side. And that he was hoping to take to the bank. Ajax nodded to Amador in approval, not honestly knowing if the younger leader was looking for it, but he felt the need to give it. This all had to be a bit unnerving for him, they had had long talks about Kingship and such.
