The overall motion of the soldier hardly effected, his shields taking much of the damaging force. The storm mana and heat hardly affected the suit at all - it was able to take the temperature change from 3 Kelvin to over 6000 Kelvin in minutes. This heat nearly had more of an adverse affect on him, creating a cushion of hot air beneath him, trying to loft him up, so the leap was hardly affected.Once again, he resumed the attack, charging Trebuchet, attempting to get within a foot of him, his leg swinging madly - but with control - at the feet of the giant.

Even as Corant continued through with his strike the flow of storm mana did not cease. The storm above was not self sufficient enough that it was generating plenty of mana to keep up the stream for as long as was needed. During the stream, however, the storm would not grow or shift without outside influence by Trebuchet. The strike came hard and fast, slamming into the barrier around Trebuchet, sending cracks through the very air around the localized disruption. When the strike impacted the siege golem's leg, however, a burst of storm mana flooded through the sigils. Much like the armor on most modern tanks the sigils exploded outward with extreme force with the intent of lessening damage taken to the frame itself. The sigils were more focused and did less collateral damage to what they were meant to protect, but the idea was the same. While the sigils did not continue to expand, the dark hue of his body continued to darken and the damaged portions continued to repair.

((After a talk with Tacitus, he has told me that he has withdrawn Trebuchet from the tournament. Skyburn gains this win.))
