Fumbi laughed and leapt into the air-- perhaps even high, but he did this so often. "Can't catch me! " He teased, sticking his tongue out and landing with his front paws stretched, then using his back ones to propell him foreward.
If he ever got to close, he leapt, and changing direction was so much easier then. It was a sharp curve, and hopefully she wouldn't catch up to him so quickly. Using things to bound off of was so usefull!

Ammy decided that, when Fumbi would jump, she'd give a burst of speed and aim herself the same way as he had just turned. The first pass, she missed, but just barely. She thought that the technique was fairly affective, and decided to try it again next time he lept.
The thought entered her mind about her pups back at home, and whether they were awake. She decided she'd head home after she tagged him at least once...

Fumbi blinked, and decided not to jump, speeding up instead, and slamming his paws against the ground. But now she had caught up, and there wasn't much choice. Instead, he jumped again, but not far off the ground, more like a 'glide' as he so fondly called it, and turned, only not to a random direction, more specifically, towards Ama.
The idea was to tackle! just like pups did when they played. Fun! And all the time, he grinned like a dork, tongue lolling out the side of his mouth(though it'd probably end up bitten soon if the tackle was succesfull, like it happened so often when he tripped).

I've got 'im now! Amaterasu thought when she saw him jump, but the last place she expected him to turn was towards herself. Her eyes widened and she tried to turn away, but didn't react quick enough and before she knew it, found herself burried under the male, laughing. She'd never bite someone for their clumsyness, or tag tactics.
"You're funny, Fumbi," she said, trying to get out from under him. "You should stick around the Pridelands, they're plenty of others that'd love to meet you," she said, hoping she could get him to stay. It'd sure be nice to have other wolves around.

"You funny too! " He grinned, even though now his tongue was in SERIOUS pian, and wagged his tail, nipping at her ear. But he rolled off of here quick enough, just to not be annoying.
"I can stay! " He wagged his tail. " I gots nowhere ta go anyway. " He raised his hindquarters, getting into pounce position, and bouncing at her, but missing.

"That'd be awesome, if you could," she said, sitting and wagging her tail at an insane speed. She chuckled as he pounced- and missed.
"I have to head home... Or at least I should. I don't want the boys to be too worried about me," she said. She really didn't want to go, but it was her duty as a mother...
"I'm sure they'd like to meet you, would you come along?" She asked, kinda out of the blue. "There's another little cave near our den that you could sleep in." Her cave-den, of course, was crammed, especially since the little ones weren't exactly little anymore. However, this other cave was big enough for one wolf... She'd been using it as a "guest den" for a while, and knew it was a comfy den. After all, it had been her home before the pups came along, when she'd decided to move to a bigger cave.

"awwr. " He whined, much like a pup would when sent to bed, but his girn didn't cease, he was ore teasing. "Ok! I can go home wit cha. " He wagged his tail, then trotted at a random direciton, before stopping, and looking back. "What way is it? "

"Actually, you're heading the right way," she said, trotting up to walk beside him. She was kinda surprised that he had picked the proper way, but... Ah well, accidents happen, so do coincidences. She pushed the thought from her mind and focused on how her pups would take to her bringing home a male... She'd just call him a playmate for them... She hoped that would work as she headed towards home.
The more she walked, the more she loosened up, the more light her foot-falls came. She walked on what was more of a prance than a trot.

Fumbi smiled, tortting beside her, then prancing along with her, footloose, playfull. Sometimes he'd pounce on any moth he saw fluttering out of the grass, disturbed by the movement. On occasion, he'd end up with an itchy creature on his nose, and sneeze.
"Hey! " He barked, then shot off after a mouse, but before he could try and jump at it, it wriggled into a hole, and he skid across the gorund. When the skid was ove,r he was covered in dirt, but happy, and wagigng his fuzzy tail.

She watched his antics until the landmarks in the background woke her out of her entertained state. They were close now. With each step, the scent of her pups grew just a little more detectable... And her face grew more solemn. Fears of her pups having wandered off and gotten lost, or them having been attacked floated through her head. She cleared them, though, with a quick vision. She focused as hard as she could on her den right now... pulling the images from far away into her head. And sure enough, her sons were asleep and well.
With a sigh of relief, she picked up the pace a little. "We're almost there. You'll have to sleep in a den seperate from me and the boys, as ours is too small to fit four wolves in, but there's a real nearby den that will work well. I hope you don't mind," she said. She wondered how a skinny wolf like Fumbi had all the energy he did.

"Is ok! " He grinned, trotting contently on, wagging his tail all the way. Perhaps if he hadn't been so skinny, his paws would make loud thumping sounds, rather than the pitter-patter they made right now. He flicked his large ears to listen to the world around him, shaking his shoulders a bit to get somedirt off of himself.
"I don't sleep in ens often. " He said. It was actually pretty nice to have that chance every now and then. sometimes, it'd look like he limped, but merely because he gave random little hops into his steps, lifting a paw and not setting it down on its turn, then hoping around on two. Fumbi always kept himself busy.

Amaterasu had gotten accustomed to his style of hopping, and had decided it was more polite not to ask about it. If he was hurt, it might be considered prying, and if he wasn't, he might take it offensively, but she doubted he would take it like that. Fumbi seemed too upbeat to be offended easily.
Still, Ammy was sometimes too polite for her own good, and just let too many things go by without questioning them, leaving her wondering about so many things.
"When I wandered, I didn't sleep in dens either, they took too much time to make and I was on the move. I guess they're more for if you want to stay in one place," she said. She wondered if she'd ever go back to that life- maybe even just to go away and come back again. She did miss the Southlands, where she came from.

"I jsut not mcuof a digger. " He wagged his tail, then started to scratchat the ground to demonstrate. He was a rather weak, lanky male, so even though, like any wolf, he made a hole, if he were to try and make a den, he'd get exhausted. "I just sleep in em when they're empty, but made. " He said, then continued to trot, sniffing at random directions.
"I been in lotsa places. I dun like the desert much, tho. " He frowned. "its sad. "
